Chapter 25: Angry Ethan

After being chided by Ethan, Jediah lost morale for that day. He began wondering why there was so much hate in the world. He wished the world would be a better place.

sigh...

These are all wishful thinking anyways. He quickly went back to what he was doing.

Soon, it was time for break. Blake called out to Jediah to join him for lunch.

"Hey man, come join me for lunch because i have lots of food." He gestured for him to come sit beside him.

"Sure." He removed the gloves he was wearing and went towards him.

"There's enough food for three persons." Blake began unpacking the food.

"Woa! why is there so much food? Do you usually eat this much?" He was surprised when he saw the amount of food he unpacked.

"You wouldn't blame me dude. My mom packed this for me." He said as he began eating.

He was used to having his lunch packed this way. His mom would stuff him with so much food that he won't be able to walk properly. He was glad that he never added any weight thanks to his nature of job.

"You are sure lucky." He chuckled happily but his eyes said otherwise.

"Yeah man. Common let's dig in." He gestured him to eat.

They continued eating and talking about random things.

Just then, they heard an angry snort

"Must you two be loud always!" Ethan walked towards them angrily.

"Urrgh...here we go again." Blake muttered to himself. He was used to Ethan being aggressive all the time. He just pitied Jediah because Ethan seemed to hate him.

"You both are here eating and chatting like two sissies. Ain't you ashamed of yourselves huh?" He retorted angrily.

"sigh...are you always this bitter because i don't understand why you keep acting like a girl on her period." Jediah was trying his best not to punch him in the face. He was already fed up with his attitude.

"And who the hell are you calling a girl? I dare you to call me that one more time." He clenched his teeth angrily.

Just as Jediah was about to respond, Steve walked in.

"What's going on here?" He asked staring at the three of them with a questioning look.

"Ask him master." Blake immediately replied pointing to Ethan.

"How dare you!" Ethan roared at him.

"Will you shut up." He glared at Ethan. He knew Ethan was in the wrong because he he had a bad temper and likes picking on a weak person.

"He called me a..."Ethan tried explaining himself but was cut of by Steve.

"I don't want to hear your explanation. I know you started this. This is the last warning I'm giving you or else you would face the consequences. Now leave my sight!" He roared angrily at him. He was sick and tired of his attitude. He needed to teach him a lesson to put him in his place.

"Yes master." He stomped his foot and left angrily.

"You can continue your meal." He said to Blake and Jediah and walked away.

"That was close...sigh..." Blake released the breath he was subconsciously holding.

"Yeah. Let's continue our meal." He picked up his cutlery and continued eating.

After Ethan left he went to a corner to vent his anger.

'how dare that Jediah talk to me in such a manner.'

'who does he think he is!'

'arrrgggh i hate him so much'

He cursed inwardly at Jediah. He just couldn't stand his gut.

'i need to put him in his place.' He smirked to himself as he thought of a plan to get rid of him.
