Meat Pie from the Sky

Tang Yin headed deeper into the Middle Ring, he moved slowly and cautiously, if he saw any signs of movement ahead, he would immediately stop. He didn't dare to be careless in the Demonic Beast Mountain.

Tang Yin came to a halt, he had just heard multiple piercing wolf howls from not too far ahead, 'Should I go check it out?' Tang Yin started hesitating.

On one hand, the wolf howls did not seem to come from strong Demonic Beasts. On the other hand, there were too many unknowns in this situation, he could be walking into a nest of wolves. It would be hard to avoid being chased down in such a situation.

After a long and hard contemplation, Tang Yin decided to go, wherever there was danger, there would be opportunity. Tang Yin dashed forward in a careful manner.

Tang Yin's red hair danced in the wind, his black eyes shone with curiosity and vigilance. The wolf howls did not come from afar, before long he had reached the surrounding area from where the wolf howls came from, and what he saw left him shocked.

There was an open space in front of him, surrounding this space were trees and bushes, Tang Yin was hiding behind a tree as he watched 2 wolf packs confronting each other.

One of the wolf packs consisted of blue-furred wolfs with pointy ears, while the other pack consisted of wolves with dark grey fur and a small horn embedded in their glabella. Each pack also had a wolf that was bigger than the rest, clearly, they were the leaders of their respective pack.

'This is a huge chance for me, I'll need to utilise it well to turn it into something fortuitous' Tang Yin saw a big opportunity here, if these wolves tore each other apart, he would obtain a meat pie falling from the sky without doing much. However, the basis for this was that the 2 packs of wolves fought each other.

Clearly, the wolves had just run into each other a moment ago and were deciding whether to fight or not.

From Tang Yin's observation, the 2 leaders of their packs radiated the aura of the 5th stage of the Spirit Channelling Realm, they were Mid-Tier Rank 1 Demonic Beasts. All the other wolves under their command varied from the 1st to 3rd stages of the Spirit Channelling Realm. The Leaders were Mid-Tier Demonic Beasts while the underlings were of the Lower Tier.

Tang Yin was racking his brains to make sure these 2 packs went to war, so he could reap the benefits of their battle. Suddenly a thought occurred, 'These 2 packs of wolves had coincidentally run into each other, there is no reason to fight, but what if I give them a reason to fight?'

Tang Yin backed away until he was a safe distance away, he sprinted towards a random direction, he had to be quick otherwise the 2 packs would retreat and break the confrontation and he would lose his chance.

Tang Yin threw all caution to the wind; he was truly risking getting ambushed for time. He ran until he finally found a Demonic Beast in the distance, this Demonic Beast was like a kangaroo except for the fact it had 4 arms.

It was a 4-Armed Kangaroo. The 4-Armed Kangaroo was peacefully eating berries from a shrub, it leaked the weak aura of the 2nd stage Spirit Channelling Realm. It was a weak Low Tier, Rank 1 Demonic Beast. Exactly what Tang Yin was looking for, the kangaroo didn't notice Tang Yin's malicious gaze as it continued eating its berries.

Tang Yin closed in on the kangaroo in an instant, 'Abyssal Sword' he summoned the Abyssal Sword and slashed at the defenceless 4-Armed Kangaroo, Swish, all 4 of its arms were amputated without any resistance. It let out a shrill screech.

Tang Yin's goal was not to kill the 4-Armed Kangaroo but to have it fear him. After cutting off all 4 of its arms, Tang Yin grabbed it by the tail and swung towards a nearby tree.

The Kangaroo hit the tree and almost fell unconscious, Tang Yin did not let go of its tail but ran back towards the location of the 2 wolf packs while dragging the poor 4-Armed Kangaroo with him.

Along the way, the kangaroo did not let out a single sound due to its brain being in a state of dizziness. Tang Yin arrived near the place where the 2 packs were, he could see that they had created some distance between themselves and planned on retreating away from each other.

Tang Yin let go of the poor kangaroo and kicked it in the stomach, it whined and snapped out of its dizzy state due to pain. It ran in the opposite direction of the person who kicked it, the direction of the open space where the 2 retreating wolf packs were.

The 4-Armed Kangaroo escaped as fast as it could in the direction of the open space and reached it in the blink of an eye. The 2 retreating wolf packs came to a halt as soon as the kangaroo made an appearance. A ferocious and greedy look appeared on all of the wolves of both packs, they rushed towards the 4-Armed Kangaroo as fast as they could...
