Journey: The Destructive Incarnate

In the Stellar sea of stars, a giant tree stood, rivers made of countless white streaks flowed throughout its giant body travelling toward its root. Those rivers were made of souls going through the process of rebirth, but among those countless rivers, a certain stream travelled directly toward the stem of the tree. In that specific river, a soul flowed like every other; nothing special about it would have remained as such. Suddenly the space it inhabited collapsed as a brilliant golden glow travelled out of that distorted space. The soul unable to escape got showered by that golden glow, its spiritual body absorbing it. Unable to handle the magnitude of the power contained in the golden light, the soul started to tear up. But somehow it managed to absorb it all, but it came at a cost, as the single soul split into two, one being thrown out of that river. Passing through another river, it made its way toward the root, whereas the other part continued on its way. A soul who got the body to handle the power of the golden glow after rebirth but didn't have it, and a body that had the power but couldn't handle it was created. But fate works in mysterious ways as after the death of one body, the soul finally reunited making someone whole. Ch.63 Breaking a Strong Willed Girl(4)

"Agg"

Groaning in pain, Aline opened her eyes and she looked around, she saw the muddied wall of the prison cell, and the disgusting smell entered her eyes.

She became confused wasn't she outside just some moments ago, then flashes of memories started to play in her mind.

The disgusted look on Silvi's face through which she looked down upon her, tears flowed through her eyes uncontrollably.

She looked around hoping that it was just a dream, she hoped that Silvi would just be around the corner and soothe her from this nightmare.

But alas that was reality and not a dream, Silvi was nowhere, and no matter how much she tried to deny it her intelligent mind came up with a single answer.

Silvi had betrayed her.. no Silvi had never looked at her as a little sister anyway, and upon coming to this realization she broke.

"AHWAHWAWHAWHA"

For the first time since coming here, she screamed, a scream filled with so much sadness and anguish that the entire prison cell shook.

She cried and cried till blood poured out of her eyes as tears dried and in the condition, she collapsed again.

Skt walked toward the cell as he looked at Aline's condition, seeing her suffering so much a great sensation of elation filled his being.

He has always been like this, enjoying the suffering of others, for his pained screams of others are the greatest drug.

His face flushed red due to excitement as he barely held himself back.. no, he couldn't do anything as he had lost his thing.

This sudden realization sparked a sea of fury into his entire being as he started to walk toward the place where Silvi was held.

He will torture that bitch and after healing his thing he will ra#e her to his heart's content, this is also the reason he had forbidden anyone from even touching her.

He will be the one who will bring her to the pits of hell and laugh at her anguish and nobody else, such was his desire.

Bet from the sidelines seeing Skt's behavior shook his head as he headed outside to prepare for the next step of their plan to break Aline.

One must think that that Aline was plenty broken already and that was the truth, but Bet didn't want her suffering to end just yet.

After all the jealousy he had felt of her as she was a High-Human and he was a mere Human, the gap in potential was so great that it ate away at his heart.

Unable to hide away his inferiority he let it convert into rage, he liked to have a sense of superiority by destroying the weak.

Aline's matter was no different, he wanted to make himself feel better for having put a High-Human in such pain.

He wanted to show those high humans that he was better, but just like anybody in this world he also knew it was futile.

After all a high human half his age would be incomparably stronger than the likes of him, he was also barely able to "defeat" Aline even though she was just three years old at that time.

This understanding became an even greater fuel to his hatred through which he wished to burn Aline and make her life hell.

Aline woke up as she looked at the surroundings with dead eyes, the eyes of someone who had already given up on everything.

The realization that her only pillar of support betrayed her broke this little girl, she had already been under so much pressure after losing her pillar.. the foundation she had built broke down.

In this single day, she became a husk of her previous self, her flames that burned brighter than any dimmed as they looked the same as anyone else in the room.

The eyes of someone who had accepted his/her fate, she didn't even bother to live herself from the ground.

She wondered if it would be better for her to just die and rot in this prison, she started to close her eyes.

Darkness filled her eyes as the light surrounding her was deemed by the second, she was leaving this world escaping into the embrace of death.

But just as the entirety of the darkness surrounded a green light destroyed the darkness, like a burning green sun she saw her pendant floating in the distance.

The same pendant she had since she could remember, the same pendant that was stolen by the boss of this place.

That pendant calmed her chaotic mind, and for some reason from the bottom of her heart, a light of hope glowed.

Her flames that had dimmed and started to dim started to burn again, and with that she opened her eyes.

Standing up, she looked around as she sat while leaning against the wall, she didn't know why but she felt like something great had transpired.

And she was right, unknown to all but a few of the strings of fate started to move erratically as if scared by something.

The gods that took care of the fate of the world were bewildered as they looked at this phenonium, something they had never seen in their uncountably long lives.

Outside the very fabric of existence, the tree that sustained all that exists stood, the rivers of reincarnation flowed into the tree as normal.

But something was amiss today, an ear unmeasurable large started at the tree, more specifically the trunk where the strongest world stood.

Its draconic eyes glimmered with a purple hue as the flow of time and space itself stopped in its wake as they dared not more in front of their monarch.

"You have returned, Old Friend."

A voice having no gender, no beginning, and no end, seemingly as old as the world itself and as young as a baby was heard.

As the being spoke those words it turned its eyes around and returned back to its duty, after all, that was the only thing that he could do.

Inside the training ground of the duchy, Neo stopped his sword as he looked in a certain direction, he saw it although for a faint second a green light.

'Ravenhood'

For some reason, the name of that city came into his mind as he narrowed his eyes, he felt it.. something was calling him.

But as if that was but a mistake that calling stopped but it left a deep impact in his heart, and he promised he would go there.

With the golden bull situation, his parents will never allow him to travel such distance, so he could only postpone it for the future.

"Are you alright Neo, why did you stop?"

Vayu asked the question as he walked toward Neo, hearing his question Neo gave a straight reply.

"Just wondering what we should name your child in the future. After all, I want to be the greatest Uncle in history."

Hearing Neo's reply Vayu's eyes twitched but a blush also appeared on his face, after all even though he had been married to her for a year it still felt surreal for him.

"Seeing as you can babble about, you must have enough energy for a spar."

After a dry cough to take control of the situation, Vayu said such words as he pointed the tip of his sword toward Neo.

Seeing this Neo smiled as he did the same, the air around them started to tense as both of them released their mana.
