Ch.5 The Scary Maid

Walking out of the room, I am greeted by the guards stationed on my door, giving them a single glance I made my way toward the kitchen, why? Because I am goddam hungry. After all, not eating for a few days is not the best feeling to have.

Walking through the castles, I look at the workers doing their work without saying anything. They give me their greeting and I can sense that they are quite happy about my recovery.

Though it seems to not have spread throughout the duchy, as I can still fell the gloomy aura in the city, well the information should spread like wildfire quite soon.

"Greetings, young lord. Congratulation's on your recovery."

I hear a female's voice coming on the side, turning my small head I see a tall maid wearing the standard maid dress of the ducky but with a little more deign on the side. She had fiery long orange hair and golden yellow eyes. Her figure can said to be quite, well what do I say.. yes like a milf.

"Oh, greetings Agni."

I greet her back, after all she holds quite an important position in this ducky, the role of the head maid. Although it may not look like much, but the commanding power possessed by ever noble or royal family in this kingdom is just below the lords of that household.

In simple terms it can be said that currently she has enough power to summon all the servants of the house that includes the guards and command them if the situation so demands.

"And thank you."

"It's my duty, young lord." She replies in a professional tone.

"Now, now what are you being stiff for, hmm, perhaps Sir Vāyu is dating someone."

Hearing her professional tone, I couldn't help but give her a cheeky reply. And that seems to have done it, as her face morphs into a scary smile as I can feel mana gathering under my feet.

I jump back and flames burst out of the ground, but they also disappear as quickly as they came.

"Ah, what are you doing Agni, attacking an ill person."

I reply, trying to make a helpless act due to the situation I have put myself in, but she didn't stop as more mana gathered under my feet and more flames came out. I continued to dodge and when I was doing that, Agni finally spoke.

"Ill huh, young lord, I think you seem to have forgotten the words I spoke when I met you today."

"Ah, shit." I say remembering our beginning conservation.

"No swearing." She warns as the flames get even more intense.

"Ok, ok I am sorry alright, please forgive me."

I finally pled as I know no one will come to my rescue, I mother or father saw this they will just giggle and continue on their way, sister may try to stop her, but that is unlikely as for the servants of the house well they can only look at me helplessly.

"Hmm"

Agni finally stops as I catch my breath, but my presumptions seem to have been wrong as Agni disappears from her position and I can feel a smack on my head.

"Ow, ow, ow." I act as, I try to look pitiful. Giving her puppy eyes, I shed some crocodile tears, but even with all that, she still looks at me with her stern face. Well what did I accept, after all the same trick won't work forever or will it.

Seeing my face, she just sighs as her and her stern face disappears, and a motherly look takes it place. Crouching down she gently carcasses the place she just hit and performs some healing magic, seeing this I give a sigh of relief as the danger had subsided.

"You know Neo, you are still cheeky as always, I thought it will change after hearing from Lord Nexus that you have matured more, but it seems to be just my wishful thinking." She says in a gentle voice as she rubs his head.

"Also, you shouldn't talk about others people love life so casually."

But in her sentence I can feel her voice getting colder as I couldn't help but feel chills down my spine, but controlling my fears I stay my ground. After all, I have made a promise to myself that I will get both of them together.

From what I have heard from the workers that have been working here for a few centuries, both of their love is quite clear and is almost like an open secret but neither of them confess to each other.

Now that's what I call unnecessary long romance, and how could I hearing that sit still. So even if it will cost me everything of mine, I will make their relationship bloom.

"Well, you say that Agni, but you should confess to him already." I reply bluntly, hiding the fears in my heart.

Hearing my words, her colds face immediately turns into that of a blush as she looks at the surrounding to check if there is anybody nearby. Seeing that no one is here, well, they were here but ran away as soon as Agni and I made contact.

After all, they know it quite well that it is a landmine, and they have no intention of getting roasted alive. Well, maybe someone is into that, but their sane friend will drag them out anyway.

"W-What are you talking about, there is no way I can c-co-nfess." She talks in a shuttering voice as she behaves like a maiden in love. This situation wouldn't have continued for so long if not for Sir Vāyu being denser than a.. lets sees what can be a good analogy.. yes a harem protagonist.

"Sigh, why are you dragging it out for so long anyway, don't you love him, so just confess." I say again.

"Ho-H-ow can I do that, what if he rejects me."

She spoke again, but this time her bubbly persona turned to that of a depressed girl, I can fell the heat around me rising due to her subconscious release of mana.

"So are you happy with him being taken by another girl."

I said it, I said the word, the word that can be considered as the remote that detonates the nuclear bomb that is Agni. Just as the words left my mouth, I can see the ground just below her feet melting and turning into lava.

The heat of the surrounding rose exponentially as I had to protect my body with mana, normally I would have worn an artifact before starting this conservation before, but since I can use my mana normally now, I should be able to hold on.

"Hoho, if that happened I would be quite happy for SIR VĀYU, but one should be careful after all fire hazards are quite a common way of death."

She spoke as she bought her head to her face covering her mouth, giving an elegant laugh and speaking in the most venomous tone possible she looked at me with a cold eyes.

Although her smile was hidden, I can feel from the dept of my soul that it is of a kind that may even scare the Devil away.

Oh, before continuing I forget to mention she is someone who can be called, you know, Yandere. Now that I have bought the conservation to such a point, I can back away.

"Not that it is going to happen, after all he loves you very much. Haha."

I quickly form my words as I give an awkward laugh, after all, I have quite limited time to act before she explodes. And just like that, with those words all the heat disappears, her scary face melts into that of a loving girl again. Blushing without stop, she holds her face with both of her hands and mutters.

"Lo-love, me no way, bu-t real-ly."

Bareilly able to form sentences she shutters as she is lost into her own world, now it's my chance, but before I can do that she runs away.

"Stopppp."

I shout, but it's too late as she disappears into the castle, I have failed again. Even if I had averted the disaster I brought upon myself, I couldn't progress their love life.

"Tch."

With that, I make my home toward the kitchen again, my stomach shouts at me in hunger due to the current ordeal I just had. As for the damage done by Agni, I look back and see that it is as good as new.

"They work as fast as always." I mutter to myself as I continue to walk.

As I was making my way toward the kitchen, one of the maid comes and points toward the dining room, informing me that food has been served. Mother must have told them, well it was within my expectation, still wanted to go to the kitchen just in case.

Arriving in front of the dining room, the guards on the door open it up after seeing my arrival and I enter the room.

Looking at the two rows of empty seats and the food served on the table, I take the seat I always sit on and prepare to eat the food. Looking at the delicious food in front of me I couldn't help but salivate, well that's not very noble like of me.

But what can I do, after all I only act like that for formality's sake, otherwise I can be considered quite a free spirit just like my dad.

Looking at the food presented in front of me I couldn't help but be surprised after all the main dish presented here is the meat of a golden bull and looking at its marvelling I can safely say that it was at the rank of 'Mana Constellation' before its death.

Sir Vāyu must have hunted it, after all, it will possess quite a challenge for the normal knights to hunt. Well-being, one of the ten lesser beasts in the "Titan Spine Mountain" it needs to have sufficient strength.

As for how I know what is it and what rank it had, well I studied it as I didn't have anything else to do. As for when, after all I am just four years old, well look here I am a "Saint human" and I could talk, walk, run when I was one year old. So if you can't do what I can in my age, then get a good kid.

Dam who was I talking to again, whatever getting back to the food, without wasting another opportunity I devour it. Good thing no one was in this room except me, or this act would have been considered quite shameful.
