Journey: The Destructive Incarnate

In the Stellar sea of stars, a giant tree stood, rivers made of countless white streaks flowed throughout its giant body travelling toward its root. Those rivers were made of souls going through the process of rebirth, but among those countless rivers, a certain stream travelled directly toward the stem of the tree. In that specific river, a soul flowed like every other; nothing special about it would have remained as such. Suddenly the space it inhabited collapsed as a brilliant golden glow travelled out of that distorted space. The soul unable to escape got showered by that golden glow, its spiritual body absorbing it. Unable to handle the magnitude of the power contained in the golden light, the soul started to tear up. But somehow it managed to absorb it all, but it came at a cost, as the single soul split into two, one being thrown out of that river. Passing through another river, it made its way toward the root, whereas the other part continued on its way. A soul who got the body to handle the power of the golden glow after rebirth but didn't have it, and a body that had the power but couldn't handle it was created. But fate works in mysterious ways as after the death of one body, the soul finally reunited making someone whole. Neo was the part that got the power but couldn't handle it, this gave him a fate worse than death. He couldn't use mana, in a world filled with mana and where the strong ruled. Ch.46 Happy Moment(2)

Opening my eyes I look at my surroundings, I have been feeling like something has been pressing on my body.

And as I open my eyes I see the culprit, the face of Ruby who is giving me a bear hug so tight that I am even wondering how I didn't have trouble breathing.

I try to move my body,.. I can't.. She is way stronger than me. So with a sigh, I lay there motionless looking at her sleeping face.

I guess it is kind of like my fault, after all, I was the one who decided to use her as a pillow. This world and its karmic debt system.

I cannot even move my arms as she is holding them in place with her body, I am trapped.

"Well, Sorry."

I apologize to her in advance as I move my mana throw my body.

<Rune Magic: Impact>

As I spoke those words, with a small bang sound something hit Ruby, her eyes started to flutter due to the sudden hit.

"Menie"

She said as she opened her eyes and looked at me, seeing this I gave her an apologetic smile.

"Can you let go of my body?"

I ask her as I look down, she follows my gaze and sees the position where we are in. I thought she would let me go after seeing this but.. oh boy was I wrong.

She hugged me even tighter as she buried her face in my chest.

"Nooooo~"

She exclaimed as she turned her face a little up to look at me.

"Sigh, I am sorry ok."

I ask for her forgiveness, after all without that there is no way she is leaving me alone here.

"Are you really sorry though?"

She asks as she buries her face in my chest again, seeing her behavior I say.

"Yes, I am truly sorry."

Hearing that he grip loosens a little as she turns her face to look at me, her beautiful silver eyes stare at me.

"Then, you have to groom me for today's event."

(A/N: I couldn't find a better word than that.)

She says, well more like orders as a sly smile appears on her face. I guess I am not getting out of this with just an apology.

"Understood, Your Highness."

I say in a voice seeping with sarcasm but she doesn't mind it as she lets go of my body.

I move my body a little trying to remove the soreness due to the hugging she was doing. After stressing a little I jump out of my bed as I walk toward the bathroom.

She follows behind as both of us enter the bathroom, and as promised I help her wash up, and dry her hair.

After that I choose a cloth for her, help her wear it and comp her hair. After finishing this daunting task I take a suit made for me and wear it.

It is quite a classic suit, having a blackish purplish and golden design. As for Ruby, she is currently wearing a beautiful princess dress colored whitish pink, and silver.

After we have finished all the preparing we both sit on the bed, and I hold an orb in my hand.

It lights up as a hologram of Aunt Ruri is shown, she is also wearing a beautiful dress made for this occasion.

"My, My don't you two look cute."

She complements us with a smile on her face, seeing this I compliment her back.

"You look beautiful, Aunt."

"Yes, you look very beautiful mother."

Ruby also pitches in as she looks at her mother with a smile on her face.

Hearing our complement her smile deepens as as she gives us a soft smile.

"So, is everything ready? Aunt."

I ask her as nods her head, seeing this a wave of relief washes over me. After all no matter how good your plan is, you should always prepare for the worst scenario.

"Everything is going according to the plan and both of them are also getting ready to move."

She says as she shows me the picture of the flower garden, which looks even more beautiful than ever.

"Ok, then let's get into our position."

I say as I hold Ruby's hand, we both stand up as a magic circle starts to light up beneath us.

<Space Magic: Teleportation>

As for the caster, she is obviously Aunt Ruri, after all, both of us can't cast this rank of magic.

"Well, then see you there."

Aunt says with a smile on her face as the call cuts, a bright light envelops us as we appear inside a building overlooking the garden.

As for why we teleported instead of walking, well there are two reasons for that. One, I wanted to know what it feels like to teleport, and two, I didn't want to take any chances.

That is also the reason why, except near the garden area, the servants in the other parts of the castle are acting normal as always.

All the decoration is hidden by the combined magic cast by my mother and Aunt. After all, both of them are Mana Universe Compression(Arch Mage) rank and they are the only ones who can hide it from Agni another Archmage.

As we arrive there the voice of my father greets us as we are picked off the ground by him.

"Don't you two look cute."

He says as he puts us on his shoulder, a big smile etched on his face.

"Thank you, hehe"

Ruby says as she laughs a little, she also holds my father's head just to be sure that she doesn't fall. Well, a valid concern, after all my father is quite tall. Let's see if I remember correctly his height is... hmm.. Ah yes, 6.7 ft just a little taller than I was in my last life.

My current height is 3.5 ft and Ruby is just a little taller than me at 3.7 ft. I guess that is average for four-year-old children in this world.

After a while with another teleportation spell three figures appear inside the room, they are My Mother Alice, Aunt Ruri, and my sister Alicia.

Mother approaches us as she lifts me off of Father's shoulder and puts me in her embrace. Aunt does the same as she holds Ruby in her embrace.

Looking at my mother's height, his head just about reaches my father's shoulder and Aunt Ruri is just a little shorter than her.

Looking at my sister, she is also quite tall.. hmm about 4.5 ft. I guess that's a lot taller than me,.. well she is two years older than me.

Hmm.. I guess my growth was more hampered than I thought due to the illness. Let me remember.. hmm.. my other friends are also taller than me.

Damm, I am the smallest of my age group. What the hell... I can't let this continue.. that training manic already brags more than I can handle.

Hmm.. I wonder if my current training schedule is stricter than his. Nah, although I do get a lot of beating, compared to that training masochist it's nothing.

"Is there a problem, Dear."

Mother asks me as she tilts her head.. I guess I got a little sidetracked.
