Ch.44 Just as Planned

"So, what is that laughter for?"

Alicia asks me while looking at me with confused and questioning eyes, as for Ruby she is currently hiding behind Alicia shivering a little.

Come on, I may have bullied you a little but you don't need to act so scared.

"Well.."

Hearing her question I scratched my hair and then started to tell them about my master plan, the more I told them the more their face changed.

As if looking at a crazy person they shouted.

"Are you crazy!!"

It was a shout done in perfect unison, even my sister's fake cold faces broke as both of them looked at me with worry and pity in their eyes.

"Hey, hey shouting such things hurts my feelings, You know."

I say as I make a pained look as I clutch my chest, but even seeing my perfect acting the looks in their faces didn't change.

"It's not like I am going to tell them right away about this. I will wait for some years you know."

I continued my words and after hearing that they mostly calmed down, though a weird glint appeared in Ruby's eyes.

"I see, well you do you then."

My sister stated as she gave me a last look before leaving, her curiosity seemed to have been fulfilled.

"Are you sure though, Neo?"

Ruby asked me as she knelt next to me, looking at her face I gave her a thumbs up and said.

"Yes, it will be alright. After all, if you or someone who knows about this doesn't tell them then they won't know."

Giving her that reply I stand up and remove dust from my clothes, cleaning my hands with water magic I look at Ruby.

She also stands up and in a cheerful voice exclaims.

"Yes, if no one tells about this then they won't know."

After saying that she gives me a last smile as she also leaves the ground, I just shrug my shoulder seeing her behavior, and make my way toward my next target.

Walking through the largest garden area in the castle Neo looks around searching for a figure, and he finds her just as he starts searching.

An orange-haired beautiful woman wearing a maid's attire was currently tending to the flowers in the garden.

Although as a head maid, she doesn't need to do such tedious work, since it is her hobby and also helps her think straight she is currently doing it.

As Neo approaches he gives a certain look to all the servants in the area and they start to vacant the garden.

Agni had already noticed his presence but didn't say anything and continued to tend to the flower in front of her.

"Seeing as you have made the servants vacant the area, the topic you have to discuss must be important right."

Agni says as she puts the watering can on the ground and turns around to look at Neo.

"Yes."

Neo says his face more seriously than ever, seeing his serious face she raises her eyebrows a little but doesn't say anything.

"It's about Sir Vayu."

Neo says as he looks directly into her eyes, as that name leaves his mouth the memories of her talk with her sister flash through her mind.

A red hue covers her face but she keeps herself calm, after all for what it's worth she is also a teacher of Neo.

"I will say it straight. He asked me to help him confess to you."

Neo said as he pointed his figures at Agni.

"Confession, Ok...."

"Whatttttttt"

After a while of thinking her brain finally catches up to his words, understanding that she tries to run away. 

As this was a habit she had developed, for when such a situation arose.

"If you run away now, You will lose your chance Agni."

Neo says in a stern voice and hearing his voice Agni stops herself and takes a deep breath. She has to confront it now, after all, she can't always run away.

Plus her sister would eat her alive if she ever found out she had missed such an opportunity. As for doubting Neo's words, if it was a normal situation she may have doubted him.

But since the pressure that had been applied to her by everyone, her defense on this topic had greatly crumbled.

Well, this was according to Neo's plan, so he was quite happy seeing that it went as he thought it would.

"I will keep it brief, so listen up."

Neo says as he looks at her, she makes a gulping down as she listens to Neo's words nervously.

"He said he will confess to you here, in this garden as this is your favorite spot."

Neo said and hearing his words seeds of happiness bloomed into a beautiful flower in an instant. But before she could enjoy herself she heard Neo's voice again.

"But since you have kept him waiting for so long, You must confess to him first. That is the only way you can show him how much you love him."

Hearing Neo's words Agni nods, after all, she has been troubling Vayu for centuries now, so this is the least she can do.

"OK, then be prepared. He will be waiting for you here tonight."

With that, Neo left the garden as Agni stood there motionless, but not due to fear but due to motivation and Happiness.

As for Neo, he left the garden grinning to himself, now the only thing left is to prepare for the party after this confession.

After all, this is a special occasion like none other, so how can Neo let this event be dull?

But what Neo didn't know was that a small girl was staring at him from one of the buildings of the castle.

Her reddish-orange hair moves with the wind and her silver eyes contain a hint of mischief, her face adorned with a smile. 

The same smile that Neo had, but this one was directed toward him and not others.

"I will finally have my revenge. Hehe"

She said in her childish and cute voice while grinning at herself, she then let out a small laugh as she walked away from the place where she was standing.

Then there was this one poor servant, who saw all of this unfolding in front of his very eyes. He couldn't believe that the cute princess would show such an evil look.

But with this discovery also came fear, after all, if he somehow shared this news, death would be his last concern.

After all, doing that would be equal to making the enemy of the kingdom, but that isn't what scared him most.

The thing that truly scared him was the fact that he would become the enemy of the Lionheart, and there could be no bigger punishment than being their enemy.

After all, what the Lionhearts truly are hidden behind the kindness they show to their loved ones and the world, he who had served them for centuries knows it better than anyone.

So on that day, he a servant swore a vow to the gods, the biggest vow anyone could make, to never reveal this information.
