1 Chapter 1

"You'll be gone too..." Sasuke commented his look showed a little unwillingness.

"Once again, I have protected my Village as... Uchiha Itachi of the Leaf." Itachi said calmly as he approached Kabuto, who was already under his genjutsu.

A short time later, Itachi finally undid his Edo Tensei. His body began to glow with white light and slowly began to be undone. With his last strength, Itachi turned to his younger brother.

"We still have time..." Itachi commented softly as he walked towards Sasuke with his body staggering with each step he took.

"I feel my consciousness slowly fading... I don't need to lie anymore." Itachi said as he took a few more steps, he felt like he was disappearing each step he took.

Looking weakly at his brother, he said, "Yes, I did everything Danzou and Tobi told you... I always lied to you and asked you to apologize..."

"But I couldn't do that because I didn't want you to be involved in any of this... But now, I believe that maybe you could have changed, Papa, Mama, and the rest of the Uchiha."

Saying those words to Sasuke, Itachi had a flash of memories about his entire life, from birth to the day his brother defeated him. But even though he had these flashes of memories, he continued to approach his brother.

Itachi was only a few inches away from Sasuke. Their faces were almost touching.

"You don't have to forgive me. And no matter what you do from now on, know this... I will always love you." Saying those words, Itachi pulled his brother's head towards his own, both brothers' foreheads touched, and it could be seen that Itachi had a massive smile on his face as if he had finally gotten rid of a considerable burden.

Sasuke had tears in his eyes; he never expected that this would be the answer his brother would give him. He didn't know how to react and just stood there as he saw his brother for the last time.

Itachi finally felt that he could leave in peace, he finally got to tell his brother everything he wanted, plus it seemed that his brother had understood his reasons, and even if Sasuke didn't forgive him, it was okay. Like his older brother, he would continue watching and cheering him on.

...

Itachi observed his surroundings with his indifferent gaze. He realized that he was in a space with the darkness that seemed to have no end. Around him, millions of stars passed, giving a beautiful vision. As he watched the stars passing around him, he realized that some were entering his body, and he couldn't stop it. It was as if these stars were being attracted by something inside his body that he could not explain.

Even though he was shocked by this situation, he kept calm because he knew that no one was here to help him, so he could only depend on himself. More stars entered his body, and a strange feeling began to bubble up from Itachi's chest.

His consciousness slowly began to blur. Slowly he felt his vision dimming which showed that he was losing consciousness, and even with all his willpower, he couldn't resist this feeling and eventually lost consciousness.

But before he lost consciousness, he heard footsteps coming toward him, and a deep voice sounded in that lonely void.

"Poor soul, let me take you to a better place."

This voice seemed to contain infinite goodness, but Itachi didn't know who it belonged to, and for that reason, he was a little afraid, but he also knew that there was nothing he could do because his consciousness was lost right after hearing this voice.

He didn't know how much had passed. He only felt his body slowly drowning in darkness. The voice from before seemed to have disappeared after he lost consciousness. The feelings he had stored inside his mind slowly began to fade.

This was the second time he felt the feeling of 'peace' the first time he told his younger brother everything, and the last time he saw his brother.

In Itachi's mind, memories began to well up, he could see his birth to the day of his death, and then he was reincarnated into Edo Tensei, only to be killed again.

Itachi could 'see' his choices from another point of view... He could see how his decisions affected the people around him, and he could also see that there could be better ways to handle things.

He knew that it was useless to dwell on these things because his situation at the time didn't allow him to have much time to think, so his actions were the best ones based on his conditions.

...

Time went by, and Itachi finally finished reviewing all of his memories. This made him mature even more. He felt that if put back into the shinobi world, he could deal with all of these things differently, but he also knew that this was impossible, he was already dead, and there was no way to go back in time.

Besides, he felt that changing the past would be the same as despising the sacrifice of all those people.

"The world is complicated..." Itachi muttered quietly.

"In that, you are right. The world is complicated." A deep voice sounded near Itachi, causing him to look to his right, only to see a man who appeared to be in his fifties.

This man had a long beard and was completely bald, making him look funny, plus the clothes he was wearing were completely strange for someone like Itachi.

"Who are you?" Itachi asked calmly. Besides, he didn't feel any malice coming from the man in front of him. He thought he couldn't defeat him, and this was the first time he had met someone like that in his life.

"Ho... Aren't you surprised to see me? Well, I guess that's normal coming from someone like you... I'm just here to help you get sent to another world. It's no big deal." The older man said calmly while looking at Itachi, trying to get some reaction from this boy.

Itachi looked surprised at the older man in front of him. He felt that the same was not lying, but what did he mean by taking him to another world?

"What do you mean by another world? Besides, I'm not dead?" Itachi said.

The old man nodded and replied, "It is as I said you will be sent to another world, I don't have to say more than that, and indeed you are dead, but your soul is not, so it is easy to make you reborn in another body, now be a little quiet I am thinking about which world to send you to."

Itachi wanted to tell the older man that he hadn't said many words since he arrived. Still, he was afraid that the older man's reaction would be abnormal, so to avoid trouble, he just stood there quietly as he watched the older man in front of him while the same man moved his hands randomly and, from time to time let out words that Itachi couldn't decipher.

Even Itachi found his calmness strange in front of this man who told him he would send him to another world. Even Itachi didn't know why he was so calm like this. It was as if the man in front of him had a power that made people believe his words.

Another reason Itachi was quiet was that he felt a seal on his body, preventing him from moving or speaking. He had no intention of saying any more words to the older man in front of him.

"You're a good boy. Other people, I helped reincarnate kept chattering away." The older man said with a smile as he continued to stare into the void.

Realizing that Itachi didn't answer, the older man turned to him. With a look of understanding, he figured out why Itachi hadn't said a word to him. He had stuck him over a fence, something he usually used on people who blabbered immensely about reincarnating.

"I don't think you need that fence." With those words, the older man took the fence off Itachi and left him free again, but even though he was free, Itachi remained quiet as he watched the actions of the man in front of him.

"I'm done! You will be sent to the world Against the Gods! Haha! It's a good world, kid. Good luck!" The older man said with a huge laugh as if he was waiting to see how Itachi would fare in a world as chaotic as this one.

Before Itachi could ask what this world was, he felt his consciousness fade away, and again he was swallowed by the endless darkness.
