Chapter 3 Devil Fruit
"Shit it has been 6 months in this uninhabited island," thought Arthur, "I need to get out of this fucking place and conquer the Grand Line, I don't even know which year I transmigrated to. It would be nice if it had been before Roger became One Piece."
In these months Arthur has fought with all the creatures on the island. A lot of fight have led to his increase in strength which keeps growing limitlessly due to void particle. His strength is now close to that of a navy Admiral and with his immortality he can sail uninterrupted throughout the Grand Line. He also thought whether to be a pirate or a king and finally decided to think about it after determining the current timeline.
Knowing that with his strength there is no problem to single out Navy Headquarters ar any Yonko group, Arthur decided to leave this island. But before that he needed to fight a decisive battle with the current island overlord The King-Kong. King-kong, the animal overlord of the island, Arthur estimated that this gorilla has Admiral level strength and named it King-kong because of its 60 meters height which has a resemblance to one of the monsters he watched in television in his previous world.
Arthur once faced the gorilla a month ago and was beaten black and blue. Though he was completely unharmed the feeling lack of power made him frustrated after his successive wins over the rest of animals after his first fight with the rabbit which he claimed to be tie shamelessly.
"This time I will let gorilla feel the power of an immortal." Arthur grinned and went towards the center of the island where King-kong resided.
"Stupid King-kong! Come out, today is the day I will slay you and fulfill my grudges with you" Arthur shouted.
Listening to the familiar voice King-kong, who was vigilantly watching a rainbow-colored fruit that miraculously appeared in front of it, got angry and rushed towards Arthur.
Seeing King-kong who was rushing towards himself, Arthur yelled" Stupid beast feell my wrath" and attacked it with his fists.
Bang!Boom!Bang!Boom.......
Huge noise and tremors could be heard all over the island. Two fists one small and one huge clashed with each other producing shockwaves and tremors with each clash. Although their sizes were different their power was similar, with King-kong being sightly superior.
In these six months, Arthur's Bushoshoku Haki has increased qualitatively and he has been able to use Haki in a similar manner to Ryuo of Wano country to form armor around his body like KI users in Dragon Ball. Now even his simple fist attacks are capable of producing shockwaves.
He also awakened both Kenbunshoku Haki as well as Haoshoku Haki. His Kenbunshoku Haki has reached a terrifying level being able to sense the future and cover a wide range area and also capable of sensing meteorites in space I focus in one direction. With his infinite energy he can completely sense the entire planet, and any more extra energy will result in bursting his body. Don't feel terrified it will burst and get restored immediately. He can sense the future for an entire year without overloading himself with energy, though he doesn't use it since it makes fights boring.
Haoshoku haki is Arthur's currently strongest attack. After awakening it Arthur could feel his dominance not only over people but also on nature as well as abstract concepts. Low-level use can form mental shocks thus deterring weak-willed creatures. Mid-level use being able to create shockwaves, due to the clash between spiritual power and reality, with Arthur at its center. Damage of shockwaves depends on the power used by Arthur with weak ones only causing damage to few metes around Arthur, medium ones capable of completely destroying an Island and Higher ones capable of completely destroying the Planet. So Arthur doesn't use it except when he is completely pissed off. Of course to completely destroy a planet Arthur depends on his infinite energy.
Judging on raw power Arthur is infinitely close to the Admiral level, but with bushosoku haki and kenbunshoku haki he can be the world's strongest man. And when he uses Haoshoku he is completely cap[able of destroying the world.
After nearly one hour of a battle between Arthur and King-kong the island had been damaged severely with several potholes, sized nearly a hundred meters, and the terrain hs been changed completely from a forest to a ruined land.
"Hahahaha, how is t Gorilla? Did u feel my awesome power? Did u feel fear? Did u feel desperate? Hahaha.... stupid animal my grievances of a month, I will definitely beat u dead." Arthur mocked King-kong who had long lost his majestic form. Wounds both small and large were all over it. It had lost its arms and a leg was missing from its lower part. Scars bone-deep were formed on its back with blood gushing from it and his spine was broken. King-kong's body was completely scrapped due to Bushoshoku haki causing damage internally as well as externally.
King-king looked at Arthur who was walking towards it with anger but its eyes couldn't remove the despair and fear towards him. King-kong remembered during the first part of their battle it was slightly dominant over Arthur. But after Arthur started using Haki to attack, the gorilla simply couldn't resist him. At first it was simply being beaten down like a toy all over the forest then his body was completely destroyed internally by Arthur with Bushoshoku haki and now it was in a semi-dead state.
Walking towards King-kong Arthur first mocked" King-kong u are strong, but that's it.", then he solemnly said "A month ago, I swore to Deathbringer my sword that I will cut you with it and I always keep my promises". Drawing Deathbringer, which had turned black due to an unlimited supply of haki, Arthur swiftly cut off King-kong's head.
As Arthur was preparing to return to his base, to prepare a King-kong barbeque, he noticed a rainbow-colored fruit was lying in the ruins of the gorilla's cave. But what truly attracted him wasn't its fantasy color but the swirl like patterns that were adding a mystery to it.
"Devil fruit" Arthur thought. In his previous world, he watched One Piece, not because of Luffy but the different powers the Devil fruit gave after eating it and to know the various pits that Oda dug in it.
Getting closer to the fruit Arthur picked it up and watched closely. It was similar to the pictures he saw in his previous world but it was also different from others as a devil fruit had only a single color, yet this fruit was rainbow-colored. After watching the devil fruit for some time Arthur decided to fill his stomach first and then decide what to do with it.
On his way of return, he collected firewood and some fruits & berries . One of the important reasons to leave the island was due to lack of condiments and spices to make the food tasty. Arthur was getting tired of the raw taste of the meat. Although the meat was soft and juicy several times compared to his previous world but he had no other material to make it well cooked.
Looking towards the evening sun Arthur thought whether to eat the devil fruit or not. After thinking for nearly ten minutes he decided to eat it, also devil fruit was one of the most coveted abilities in his previous world.
Disgusting! was the only thought left in Arthur for the taste of devil fruit. After swallowing the rest of it Arthur waited for some time to feel his new abilities. He found his devil fruit was a paramecia type. He wasn't disappointed with it not being logia but was super-duper happy due to its abilities. Thinking about how he would show off in future battles a huge grin formed on his face.
He decided on leaving the island next day and determine the timeline before deciding the course of his future actions and fell asleep in the captain's cabin of his shipwreck base.
