The End of the Road

Ezekiel didn't do much in his 45 years of life. He sat at home playing his favorite game, Dark Souls 3. He remembered when the Ringed Knight Greatswords was the most broken player versus player weapon.

The memories he had of gaming was his happiest because he was not loved by many. He never trusted people when he was a kid so he didn't have many friends growing up. He had a few love interests but they never lasted because he thought they were going to hurt him in the long run so he ended them. After he graduated, he worked at a factory for 6 years then realized he wanted more in life so he enlisted into the military. He enjoyed the time in military but he had an accident after 10 years that's forced him to retire.

When he got out, he got himself a apartment with 2 rooms, his room and his workout room. He enjoyed the time in his apartment, he stayed up late on days he didn't have to work because gaming was his passion.

When he turned 45, he had a accident that cost him his favorite thing in the world... his life.

Ezekiel turned around to see a collosal entity looking at him.

"Uhh.. Who are you? and Where am I?" Ezekiel asked in a confused manner. "I am what you humans call a God. There are many of us. I am the God of Conquest, Vladimir." Answered the collosal creature.

Ezekiel was still as confused as ever because life was going so well so he was confused on how he died; all he remembered was hearing glass break and everything went blank. so he asked the God on how he passed away.

"So how did I die?" "Individuals broke into your house looking for things and you were in their way, you can guess what happened after." answered Vladimir.

"Yeah I can. So why am I here? Aren't I supposed to go to heaven or hell?" Asked Ezekiel.

"Yeah you were but I felt like giving you a second chance at life but not in your world but a different one. Not as a hero or something like that." Said Vlad

"So what do you want me to do in the next world?"

"Nothing really just enjoy your next life though. you have two options of getting into the next world. You can A, get born anew through the cycle of birth. I do not know what you will be born as but you could be a human or something different. I'm not the God of Fate. Wish I was though. Or B, get put in the world as yourself." spoke Vlad.

"What are the benefits of these things if you don't mind explaining?" Questioned Ezekiel.

"The benefits of A is you have a chance getting born into a Rich family and getting people to tutor you in things like the sword. B is you get a special ability that I won't tell you about." answered Vald

"I might be taking a bit if your time so Ill choose so you can keep up the rest of the souls coming through. I choose B because I wanna take the chance and see what my ability you give me is. I could get screwed over by this but meh screw it." said Ezekiel.

Ezekiel knew he was rushing through but he really wanted to see what the next world would be like so he spoke like that. He knew he could regret it but if there are things like video games or even manga, he would be happy.

"Okay, is that really your choice?" questioned Vlad.

"Yes it is. Send me through I want to experience my new life and see the wonders that awaits me."
