Growing up I had heard about the Church of Light and their theories of how they wanted to convert the entire planet to worship their god and also the Demon Association is not actually Demons, they are a group of people who are always at loggerheads with the church of light and always calling them out for their lies and fallacy.

The last one that caught my attention was the Academies. Over the years they have been said to have produced extraordinary individuals that even the military had no chance of producing. They are always seen by the public as figures to follow.

Although they refrain from joining in the political struggle, most of the other five powers use this s an excuse to seek trouble with them. They are usually seen as scrap pickers. But if truth be told they are a source of light to the common people. They care more about the common people than the government or the other parties.

Since they don't have much and remarkable individuals, the five academies on the planet came together to form a union to deter against the powers of the other five and for the past few years they have been growing in peace.

"Rhoda, can I ask you a simple personal question"

"Of course, as long as it's one that I can answer, I don't mind giving you one instantly"

"Given all these choices that are on the ground and each is a good backer for the future. If you were given a chance whom would you want to align with?"

"A trick question that is but if I were to pick out, I would definitely pick the academies" she replied with conviction.

"The academies? Why" I asked her

"It's really simple. If I chose the military there is a tendency that once they see that there is nothing good di can offer to them they would rather use me for their experiments at letting that way they can be sure to have made good use of me. The Four Families would be rather worse. If you have no direct bloodline from either of them then you would be used as a cattle and cannon folder for the rest of your life. You would not even make it through their rankings even in the least and when they observe that you are getting powerful, they either send you packing, frame you, and destroy your reputation and if they deem you too dangerous to them, frame you and then kill you. Such gullible sets of people. The Unmarked Association is just a tardy bit better than the others because they try their best to protect all those Unmarked that are fighting at the forefront of the battle all these years. At the beginning of the war, the Unmarked were used as shields to protect the Marked element users and they had a lot of casualties so they formed the organization to protect their own. Although there are rumors of internal fighting, they still have a joint front in the eyes of the public. Then the Space Association, no one not even the military has too much data on these guys they come and they go as they wish, they were the first set that knew about the invasion of the Alkans, they were the ones who even gave us the opportunity to fight against them. Our space technologies came from them. Although it is rumored that they have bases on the surface of the planet, their main base is orbiting around the space of the planet monitoring the Alkans than are still in hibernation on their mother ship. The Renegades are just a bunch of extremely powerful fools that got into power because they have the ability to cause trouble for the other three except the Space Association whom no one has attempted an attack on ever. The Military and the Four Families saw that they were good at causing trouble for the four families and their size was almost equal to theirs so they were invited to the table and rules were used to stop the majority of their skirmishes. Since they were makeup of the same blood and the majority of them knew the secrets of the Four Families, why not bring them in to keep each other in check? Then the Church of Light, always and always condemning people that they would all die a painful death if they don worship their god. They believe that they are mighty in all ramifications and that they have no need to want to join the existing power structure on the planet. They see others as fools and only believe in their theories that they would be the only ones to survive when the damnation comes. The only good thing they are is at healing. They were able to build a holy healing light that each of their element users has. The Demon league let's just call them the ones that have to keep the Church of Light under control, they keep them at bay and make sure they don't cause more damage than they have caused in previous years. Then lastly, the Academies, although each and every one of them has it is good and bad, the only bad I see in the Academies is the competition. They are always in bloody competitions with one another. They believe that through a competitive spirit, one would be able to break through the barriers that are holding them back. They want all their student to have this kind of competitiveness in them that makes them want to yearn for more. But what's competition if it is going to make better people for the future? It's nothing right. With everything we have seen all around us today, there is absolutely nothing wrong with people being in competition with one another. Well, this is what I have to say about the organizations with powers on the planet. And my choice still remains the Academies because if you get stronger, you get more powerful, and more opportunities would be open up to you. This is just a fucking place where the only thing that matters is strength"
