Chapter Thirty Seven

The Gold Flaming Tiger was silent for a while. Probably she was weighing her options. The only leeway right now was me.

For the first time in all my life, I wish I had adequate strength. If I had the strength I would be able to protect what I wanted. And I would be able to go where ever I wanted to go.

"Fine, I would allow him to take my child but if I find that he is not capable, I would leave at once, and not only would I leave, I would break him alongside".

This mother was a brutal one I thought. She was the one who needed me to do her a favor but she was the one also adding a threat to the favor. What an unbelievable proposal. I was about to refuse it when I heard "I would take the offer but you have to promise to teach him your Flaming Tiger body-building technique" Yasrina said.

"Teaching him the technique is not a problem, the problem is that would he be able to comprehend and learn it?"

"Leave the comprehension and learning a part to him, he would give you a surprise"

"Very well" the Gold Flaming Tiger said. "Come closer human. Since you have agreed that hehe your guardian, don't make me regret this. I would have preferred that my child survives on his own but without adequate guidance, he would be unable to achieve the peak"

I walked closer to her and she placed her paw on my forehead at that moment, I felt a surge of power running through my veins. At first, it felt like a volcano had been opened and poured into my veins, I could feel my veins improving rapidly and they were enlarging.

I could feel the power inside of me building up gradually and then the hot sensation in my body stopped.

A large amount of information started flowing into my head. I saw a majestic tiger walk with glory, with no fear, it moved like it owned everything around. As it walked, the air vibrated with every one of its steps.

Then it stopped looking straight at me and roared. The roar shook my soul massively but my soul was not as weak as it was previously. The barrier around it shook a little and it stood firm. There wasn't even a crack in the barrier. It felt like water was only poured and nothing else could affect it.

Even though the barrier stood, I could still feel the power that was contained in that roar. It could destroy any person whose soul power was below Grade 3 and could be instantly crushed and death would be the only result.

"Hmmmm, a strong soul. Very well then you have passed my test. Since my physical body is done for you can take the necessary and maybe use it to get new equipment, armor, or sell it for money. But remember that you should not bring anything out if you don't have the strength to back up your power. Also, take that despicable eagle's body parts with you".

"Since I would be your spirit guardian, I would teach you a polymorph skill that would increase your strength, but if and only if you can get to meet my requirements, and also I would grant you four choices to ask my help in a fight. After these four, I would neither help you nor stay around you".

A polymorph skill? This would be wonderful, if I could polymorph into a Gold Flaming Tiger at will then this would improve my attack, and it would also grant me great attacking strength. The was the greatest deal I have ever had.

I always thought that the deal between me and Yasrina would be one-sided but it was totally one-sided to protect and grow my strength. I would forever be grateful to her.

It was the new strength in me, I could easily take apart the bodies of the Gold Flaming Tiger and the Dark Iron Eagle.

In about thirty minutes I had successfully taken the Gold Flaming Tiger's skin, claws, heart, flame core, bladder, and also its eyes and tooth. I could not take anything more because I had limited time.

I faced the Dark Iron Eagle and took its two claws, they would definitely make a good hand weapon. The wings were also good for making a glider for flying. Its heart was also a good medium for channeling wind elements. Since its head was already destroyed there was no need to pick anything from there.

Thanks to technology, over the past few years, the bag technology has been built with more stable materials and also had enough space in it. It was almost built like a storage ring but it was a lot more different.

The storage ring was light and could house a lot of things. It was bound to a person and if stolen one would need to have adequate strength to break it. But the bag was different. It was able to carry limited things, it could not carry an electric scooter like the storage ring, and the more items you but in them the heavier it gets.

Now I understand why Yasrina said I should pack light. Because she was expecting that I would have to get to pick up things along the way.

Right now, I really wished I had a space ring, I would have taken the full body of not the Gold Flaming Tiger and the Dark Iron Eagle. "What a shame," I said with a sigh.

In under an hour I successfully took the necessary things I need from the bodies and I got on my way.

My bag was three times the weight it previously was and my movement was supposed to be slower but instead, my speed was faster than normal.

"You would have to find somewhere safe and digest the information that the Gold Flaming Tiger has impacted on you. The earlier you begin to practice, the faster your strength would grow. The rate at which your soul is growing, your body would soon be unable to carry your soul. So you have to balance them both".

I understood what Yasrina was trying to say. Because many cultivators have died due to their body unable to house their powers.
