7 Chapter 7

So, sticking to my plan, I spent the next few years by quietly staying home and growing stronger. By the fourth year, I broke through to level 10 Knight rank of my M-Force, meaning I became a Transcendent Knight.

I can see why the Transcendent rank is said to be much stronger. When I broke through to transcendent rank, my body went through reconstruction. After reconstruction, my body was on a whole new level. Not just strength but even reflexes, eye to hand coordination, regeneration, vitality, agility, dexterity i.e all physical aspects of my body evolved and became much better than before. Not just that I could feel that even my life span just became much longer. Additionally, after becoming Transcendent, I could fly even without the use of spells.

By that time, my wizard rank was not too behind at Level 8 and was working on becoming level 9.

But I didn't stop there and continued. By fifth year I finally broke through to level 10 wizard rank and became a Transcendent wizard.

Just like when I became Transcendent Knight previously, this time too, my body underwent reconstruction process. But unlike last time, physical aspects of my body only rose by a bit, but instead, this time it was my mental aspects like intelligence, wisdom, willpower, fortitude, etc that made huge progress. I was now able to think and deduce much faster. Also, life span too increased this time.

Now, unlike both Transcendent Knight who only have increased physical aspects, with little to no increase in mental aspects of the body and Transcendent Wizards who only have increased mental aspects, without almost any increase in physical aspects of body, I, due to going through two body reconstruction processes, have both physical and mental aspects of a Transcendent.

Now, Transcendent wizards have the obvious weakness of having a weak body, which can be easily exploited, just like Transcendent Knights, who lack the high levels of intelligence, which Wizards boast.

Me, on the other hand, possess no weakness. My whole body, mental and physical, is on Transcendent level. Not to mention, due to M-FORCE, my body is stronger than a knight of the same level, as well as stronger and more potent spells than that of a normal wizard of my level. Meaning, I can easily skip levels and take on opponents, who are on a higher level than me, knights and Wizards at least.

I still don't have any clue about level systems of beings like Vampires, werewolves and other types of supernatural beings. This is because the Canis family only focused on Wizards and knights, with almost no books about power systems of other beings.

I know what you're thinking. Why didn't a strong and influential family like Canis family didn't have Vampires or werewolves among them? I mean, they are easy to nurture, just a bite and voilà, you have a new vampire or werewolf, unlike knights and Wizard, who needs a lot of money and resources to be nurtured?

Well, the thing is, they get sired to whomever bites and turns them. Normally, sire bond can be ignored easily, if a vampire or werewolf has enough willpower. But things get tricky when a much stronger vampire, who is on a higher level of sire line, order them, in that case, they are forced to what they are ordered ( for example, if vampire A bites and turns vampire B, who in turn bites Vampire C and so on till Vampire Z. Now, if vampire Z has enough willpower, he/she can ignore vampire Y, who bit and turned them or even vampire X, if they have enough willpower. But if Vampire A happens to order vampire Z, vampire Z is screwd, and he/she will have to follow the Order, no matter what.).

Now, obviously, families and organizations won't keep Vampires or werewolves among them, as they can be ordered by another, and betray them. So, vampires and Werewolves have their own organizations.

Also, as becoming a Vampire or werewolf is an easy way to get stronger, families like Canis family don't keep books and knowledge about them to keep family members from thinking of becoming one. If a member of the family becomes a Vampire or werewolf, despite the warning, they are cast out, no matter who it is.

So, aside from knights and Wizards, the Canis family library didn't have much information about power levels of other supernatural beings. Thus, in turn, I too am unknowledgeable about them.

Now, that I have achieved my goal of at least becoming a Transcendent, I think it's time I start to explore this new and exciting world.
