First Elimination
After the Press Conference and PR Video shooting, The Staff worked overtime for the preparation of the First Episode of the Boys Republic Idol Survival Program.
They put some subtitles, emojis, bgm, and sounds into the video to attract the viewer's attention. They spend so much time and effort to make the Show successful.
The Next day the teasers of the program were aired from the cast of mentors, MC, and snippets of the show.
Today is the premiere of the Boys Republic Idol Survival Program. Yesterday in social media the news was released on so many channels and entertainment platforms which later gained the attention of the world.
The PR Video was released one hour after the news was broadcasted in Made-K Daily News. There are a lot of people watching and starting to vote for their favorite trainee.
10 AM in Gangnam, at the DCC Office. Every member of the company is present.
All the members of Dreamcatcher are waiting for the release of Xion's PR Video, they are refreshing the page as they wanted to help Xion with the video count a bit.
5 minutes later, the page fully displayed the trainee's profiles and PR Videos.
Currently, the top-ranked trainees are from Big Labels, Such as Rise and Shine Entertainment, some Ex-trainee from BeatStar Entertainment, and some more mid-level labels famous for their visuals and vocals.
Sua scrolled through the list to find Xion's PR video and told the others to check it Xion was ranked 70.
Every one of them then plays the video and is surprised that Xion is using their catchphrase greetings as the opening greetings.
Then continues with a full flirting mode with a big-eared bunny onesie, all the members' eyes are glued to the video, except Jiu who knows what to come...
The video then finishes with the information about Xion and how to vote for him on a board. simple yet flirty enough to capture the attention of female counterparts.
After the video ended, Everyone started to tease Jiu non-stop since a lot of the references is pointing toward her as she's known as the rabbit leader of Dreamcatcher, especially when they asked that flirty part of dreaming about Xion and that she crossed his mind even though the others might have a different interpretation, but it was different for people in Dreamcatcher's Company.
That evening, during a session in Dreamcatcher's vlive, Xion was introduced as a trainee in the company and is competing in the Boys Republic Idol Survival.
He then explained to the viewer about his PR Video to Insomnia, the fandom of Dreamcatcher, "i used the catchphrase because it has multiple meanings for me.
First, i am also an Insomnia, at any chance, i will try to promote them better, and Jiu-sunbaemin is my favorite member, that's why i wanted the viewer to check out the more, as you can see that i am wearing a bunny onesie in the PR video.
The second is how I shamelessly rode on the fame of my sunbae as we are on the same company here, so to show that Dreamcatcher Company is united as always. Dreamcatcher Jjang! Insomnia Jjang!!..
Sua and Yoohyeon then became the host as many people asked about Xion's background and history in the company.
Some Fans also congratulated Xion and promised to watch him and vote for him too. The Atmosphere is merry enough but still chaotic with many staff coming in one by one and congratulating Xion too.
Xion ended his first short appearance and thanked the viewers for supporting him and Dreamcatcher.
That week, every time Jiu greeted the staff and members, they joked by asking if she has thought about them or not...
This company exposure is also not violating any rules on Boys Republic Idol Survival terms of reference; it was even suggested to raise the voting count on the Made-K website itself, counted as free promotion for the program by others.
Many fans then checked Xion's PR video and shared it with many of their friends and families alike which then boosted his view count from 70 to 30 and still rising.
Two days later the premiere of the show was played at 7 PM.
Dreamcatcher's company is having all their members assemble and watch the program together. The Program started with the entrance of each trainee, who were in groups, duo, or solo.
One by one they entered the building but had no exposure to Xion yet. Most trainees already entered and were then introduced as they picked their seats and the mc's and mentors entered. One by one they performed and finally it was Xion's exposure.
His handsome face with pale skin was really attractive, he was seen playing around with his camera and taking some cute poses around the entrance of the building which made a lot of viewers fall for him.
He then was seen slapping himself to try to act cool, but as he entered and put on his so-called game face, his face was red with a visible slap mark on his face.
There were a few people at the entrance laughing at his act, especially at his face, some other trainees and staff were caught laughing while looking at him.
The viewers also laugh when seeing his goofy side. Lee Joowon was satisfied and pointed his thumbs up at Xion for that, Xion just smiled back at him.
The scene then continues with the display of Dreamcatcher's Company as the DCC staff cheered loud as Xion is entering while the other trainee is commenting about his top-notched visuals.
Some hidden clips when he was captured with the Hanlim Entourage were played; the trainees didn't realize that there were hidden cameras everywhere.
The scene then continued with his interview and performance, the editing team then highlighted some part of his performance and put every comment of the mentors in it and the other trainee's response after his performance.
The program then continued with some small exposure of his reaction to certain trainees and his personal opinion about other trainees which uplifting the mood, he commented on their vocals and danced on point or sometimes just put up his two thumbs high amazed by others' performance.
Overall, he's supportive of the other trainees, seeing this Lee Joowon then said to him, Xion, for the next shooting if you passed, be the villain all the way! It will bring a certain impact on you. Xion then agrees to it.
Lee Joowon then pointed out some trainees with good potential to be his victim in the show and discussed some scenarios that he can do to raise a love-hate relationship with the viewer but still maintain a good voting count.
Xion listens carefully to every detail that Lee Joowon describes for him as he's thinking, "this old man is soft on the outside but crafty on the inside.. he's kinda scary on a certain level".
After the premiere, Seonho was called by the production team to inform Xion about their next shooting schedule which was planned for Sunday, 5 days from now on.
Xion then called Yiren and informed her about the program episode that had been aired. Aventurine members then regroup the next day when they all are free to watch the program together.
Everyone is commenting on Xion's performance and that it was great for a one-month trainee, but Yuqi then told them that Xion is just playing around with his performance which made the others surprised about it.
Yiren then told them that his brother can do so much more but somehow he is planning for something which she doesn't know at the moment.
Karina, Yena, Yeyoung, and Heejin were surprised by that and decided to vote for Xion, but Yiren said to wait for a few days.
She then opened the Made-K website and looked at Xion's PR Video. She was so shocked seeing Xion acting Flirty like that, her face was full of disbelief since she had never seen her brother do deadly aegyo and flirting around like that for sure.
Yuqi seeing the weird face on Yiren then took the phone from her and looked at the screen, he then played the video and was lovestruck momentarily.
She then shows the video to the rest of the members, Karina, Yena, Yeyoung, Somi, and Heejin were lovestruck seeing Xion acting like that.
Unknown to the girls, in Seoul, the aegyo have already become YouTube Shorts and Tiktok Challenge which boosted Xion's video count massively. Xion's now become the next Nation's Boyfriend.
Who thought that a small aegyo can boost your popularity to the next level? Well, Xion does! He maximized the use of Mirage and practice and hone his aegyo for that small exposure to the maximum effect.
Any girl who likes handsome male counterparts will easily fall for the aegyo. It is just that deadly.. but on the other side, the male voters for Xion are smaller, because many of the girls then asked the boys to do the same for them, which turned into a disaster for them….
Still, despite all that, Jiu and Yiren suffer from constant teasing in the company and Aventurine members on the short end of the stick.
Heejin, Somi, and Karina even make some counter-jokes to tease Yiren by saying "Xion Oppa, you crossed my mind now... but why didn't you call me? you are so busy now that i can't cross your mind... I am upset, oppa!!" while stretching lazily on the sofa each night.
Yiren just facepalmed herself because of her member's actions, while Suzy laughed every time they did that...
