Learning Things

The book mentioned that mana is a force that drives this world around. Every being holds some amount of them, it's into everything in either a small or large amount.

People or beasts can bend mana to their will. They can summon natural elements and do much more using mana. To do that would need some magical circle or chant some spells.

Humans can hold mana into their body by forming a mana core. A normal human forms this core when they are around 10 by circling the mana into their body and forming it in solid sphere type shape near their abdomen.

As they start using more mana and start refining their core it will gradually upgrade in terms of quality and strength.

Mana cores are ranked from Bronze, Iron, Silver, Gold and Platinum. With Bronze being the weakest and Platinum being the strongest.

A person with a platinum core nearly holds 100 times more mana than a person with a bronze core. Needless to say, a person with a platinum core is far more stronger than a person with Platinum core.

Apart from humans there are other species who can use mana, like beasts, elves, dwarves. Wait ...

THE FUCKKKKKKKK, ELVES , there are elves in this world, those creatures of myths. Ohh fuck me there are elves in this world. Is it some kind of a novel? Am I being written by some depressed author?

Fuck anyway back to learning. It seems humans are not the only sensible creatures in this world. There are beasts with magic that are called magical beasts, Elves and dwarves. And these are only the creatures who can use mana.

What if there are other powers to use and other creatures who use them. Just thinking about other possibilities sent a shiver down my spine.

After reading all this basic stuff I turned the page around. And finally saw some really juicy stuff.

The title mentioned " How to form a mana core".

' Yes this is it. This is my chance to grow stronger' I thought in my mind with excitement. But suddenly I heard my mother's groans of waking up.

Well, yes I lost my shit. Imagine a six month old baby reading a thick old book that too was taken away from a well organised shelf. It seems straight out of a horror story, doesn't it?

' Fuck this overthinking habit of mine' I pulled myself out from my thoughts and tangled the angelic protection blanket in my foot . After making sure that soulmate blanket was with me I activated my special " Cockroach crawl" ability and started crawling towards bed.

Since the room was dark, I moved fast and mother wasn't out of sleep yet. I wrapped myself into the blankets and started my world class acting.

Just after a few minutes my over-caring mother realised something was amiss. She started to panic and searched for me in the dark room. All I could do was bury myself within my soulmate blanket's embrace and avoid the guilt of panicking my lovely mother.

What happened next was just out of my thoughts, my mother chanted some spells and the dark room got filled with blinding light. She came down from the bed and found me sleeping soundly in blankets that she tried to suffocate me with.

I was sweating buckets out of fear. Well I had my reasons you should know how mothers can be if they are angry. But what happened next just shocked me.

She pulled me out of blankets and hugged me tightly with her arms and started crying buckets from her beautiful eyes. After seeing her tears I was filled with extreme levels of guilt. ' I need to find a way to grow stronger without hurting people that I love" I thought in my mind.

My mother kissed me a few times while saying sorry. She started sobbing like a baby at this point I thought " I am supposed to be a baby I should cry" . Well I guess this is just how love works, without following any logic.

Pulling me out of my thoughts my mother started breastfeeding me and sang her Lullaby and soon like every single time, I couldn't resist this beautiful voice and fell asleep..
