Preface

Hello everyone. Thank you for picking up this novel to read😊. This is my first ever novel that I have creatively written, and I am happy to receive any feedback on my writing skills, creative direction and any other queries that you might have. I will say that doing this is a hobby, so I would say that I will only write chapters when I feel inspired, and hence releases might be infrequent and as such, I do apologize🙇‍♂️. While English is my first language, I have not written creatively in a long time so if some sentences come out funny I am sorry.

I will first say that I have a deep love for cultivation novels, and in particular the East meets West type novels such as Warlock of the Magus World and Age of Adepts, wherein it's western high fantasy, but through the formula of a cultivation novel. I think it's an underated genre that seems like there aren't too many of these books around. So that is one of the inspirations I had in creating this novel. I want to create a novel where the MC doesn't have any cheats or goldfingers, doesn't have too thick a plot armour, and sticks to the theme of high fantasy that I want to create.

So without further ado, I present to you, Journey of a Magus.
