10 Chapter 10 - Thinking about Future 8

It was the morning after the devastation of village. Every people were sad because their home was destroyed, their loved ones died. They couldn't believe that something like this happened to them.

In the hokage office Hiruzen sat with reports on the casualties. Around 20 percent died including both ninja and civilians.. 5% people were gravely injured and 10% have minor injuries.

70% of houses were destroyed and people are starting to clear the debris from the destruction. People were scattered all over the village without any places the stay. Ninjas were trying to control the situation as people were in disorder.

The documents were piled up in the table with the reports of damages. Hiruzen stayed up all night just trying to salvage the situation from deteriorating more. < Other villages might have already gotten the news of Kyubi attack, I just hope they don't start attacking us right now as we don't have the man power to spare.>

A ninja came and reported " Third Hokage sama we have gathered all the dead bodies in the hospital. Should we prepare for the funeral ?"

Hiruzen sighed and said " Yes prepare everything."

The ninja left with a swift motion and left a sighing old man in the office. Hiruzen got up from the seat as he was going to check on Naruto when suddenly Danzo came inside the office.

" Who are you going to put in Hokage seat Hiruzen? We cannot leave the seat empty for too long." Danzo got straight to the point as he entered the office.

Looking at him Hiruzen didn't say anything for sometime and contemplated hard like his life depend on it. " We will vote for it in the council meeting. Right now I will act as a proxy until we find someone." saying that Hiruzen left as he didn't want to be bothered by Danzo of all people.

Danzo looking at the leaving figure of Hiruzen thought about something as he also went out towards his root base.

Danzo upon reaching the root base immediately ordered the root ninja " Look for the jinchuriki"

"Yes Danzo sama" getting there orders the root ninja left.

Hiruzen looking at the baby Naruto thought what should he do. As he cannot keep him hidden like this for long. Thinking that a ninja cannot take care of the baby he ordered the ninja to put Naruto in the orphanage and continue their surveillance.

"Young people are leaving the old bones to continue working." Hiruzen sighed once again and took out his tobacco pipe and started smoking.

"Now that Kyubi attacked the village because of sharingan, the Uchiha will be placed for questioning. And I don't know what will happen after this round of council meeting. I just hope everything gets settled up if not then i'll have to leave it to Danzo." Hiruzen left for the hokage tower once more as smoked away his tension.

There are many things that have to be done and Hiruzen cannot leave it unfinished. The most important thing is to build new houses so people can at least have a shelter to hide their head.

INSIDE THE HOSPITAL

Ryuzaki who was sleeping without a care in the hospital, woke up when a cry of grief echoed in the hall. Opening his eyes he looked around the hospital room and surveyed his surroundings thinking where the crying sound came from.

As he got up a nurse saw him as she was tending to other patient. She came in front of him and asked " How are you feeling now? "

"Good, how long was I sleeping?"

"18 hours, it is already noon. Do you know what your name is? Who you parents are?" asked the nurse with some pity in her eyes.

" My name is Ryuzaki Uchiha, and I am orphan." Ryuzaki replied bluntly without any emotion.

Hearing that he is orphan the nurse felt bad for the kid as she had a bad news for him. " I am sorry kid for making you remember something sad. I have to tell you something, so listen to me carefully okay." said the nurse with a sweet smile on her face.

Ryuzaki felt like what is there to tell him, its not like he is injured or anything. He faked his fainting and there is nothing going on other than that. " Okay tell me, I am listening." Ryuzaki said with a slight confusion.

" You cannot gather chakra anymore as your chakra pathways are messed up. When you exhausted you chakra yesterday it somehow damaged you chakra points. If you try to gather your chakra you will feel intense pain in your body." nurse said with sad voice and pitying look.

Ryuzaki was thinking what is the news and got something that he already knew. If the nurse concluded his case like that than there was no need worry about his academy anymore. He was slightly feeling good as he unknowingly got a good news

No matter how much he try to get away from being ninja someone will come to bite him back because time is changing now. But if he doesn't have any chakra pathways than no one will bother him not Hiruzen not danzo, why because he doesn't have anything on him not even sharingan.

But that will also change when the massacre will happen. It will be the time when even his condition will not let him stay out of the story.

" Thank you for the information. But was there any heart problem in me when you checked? Ryuzaki asked back when thinking of his heart's cause yesterday night.

"No, your heart is perfectly fine, just don't try to use chakra. it will cause you pain and worse case scenario your body will explode from inside out." nurse gave him a reminder seeing that he wasn't reacting about his news and thought he might practice even with warning.

Ryuzaki who didn't know the thinking of nurse is thinking of another thing. < Okay my future course is set, as the Uchiha massacre will be the starting point of my plan. Because no matter what I do I will get dragged into the mess by insecure people.>

Ryuzaki nodded his head and got up from the bed and picked up his sword which was laid on the table and left the hospital.

Looking at the destroyed houses which were being cleared and build he made his way towards his broken down house.

Reaching his house he looked for a scroll which have all of his parents money and inheritance. Finding was a hassle in this mess but he still continued to look for it until he found it.

Taking the scroll and packing some clothes he left towards one of the training ground which was connected with the forest.

He wanted to stay inside the forest until they build all the houses again and the situation become normal.
