Chapter 1-Death and Awakening

In a dark place, a young man was lying on the bed with a face full of sorrow, guilt, pain and regret. When he open his sapphire eyes he realises that he is dead now and was wondering if this is afterlife but then he smells something delicious that simply transcends the concept of being delicious.

He gets up from the sleep and goes to that room and finds a middle aged handsome man who was cooking and he was looking at the scene like it simply transcends the concept of worldly laws, the man was cooking like it was the last thing in his life, all the ingredients were flying in the container and then the man turns his attention towards the young man and a small smile appears on his otherworldly face.

He says, "Hello young man, as you may have guessed that you are dead but I, the god of cooking, have selected you as my adopted son and future succesor."

The boy got suprised and then he was feeling like what the hell is going on why this god is taking me as his adopted son, well anyways i was an orphan and he doesn't seem that he will harm me, well even if we wanted then like hell i could do anything then the boy looked at him and said, "Why me?, i mean there would be numerous universes and galaxies with extreme talent then why an orphan who has lost everything in his life."

The man said with a smile, "Well its actually very simple like although there are many with talent that is 100x times better than you but, they dont have the same level of determination, passion, love, emotion, etc. in cooking in which you surpasses even me that startled me. Hence, i will send you to world of shokugeki no soma where you will learn without any worrying and would compete with top level talent. And as a father i will give you a system and most importantly my handsome looks heheh...."

Okay, now the young man was like screaming with joy that his dream was about to come true and he felt a strange kind of emotion when he heard the man saying as his father which unknowingly gave him a smile and he thought that those were man's real emotions and then he respectfully looks at the man and said, "Okay f-father i will become top on the world. But please give your son a name." Yeah this was his rebirth and he will forget his old painful memories, which was all possible because of this man in front of him.

The man got surprised and the with a smile with affection says that, "from now on you will be the son of Artemis Kruger, named as Arima Kruger. And now get ready to go into the world to conquer it and also with giving me daughter in laws.....hehehe" and a teasing expression got onto his face.

The young blushed slightly as obviously he had many waifu from anime like Erina, rindo, hinako, natsume and orie. He gets determined and decided that he he will definitely conquer the world and t-try to get the g-girls. He had no experience of romance in his past life so obviously he will be nervous. Well first anyways he had increase his cooking skills and then..

While he was thinking the man said "Get ready son to get into the world"

The young man said, "Okay father and thank you father for everything" saying this he kowtows three times with a teary look as his father was the first person to care and acknowledge him.

The man said, "Its my duty son no need to thank me, just live your life happily" and then he hugs arima and arima got transported to shokugeki no soma.

Artemis also had a emotional feeling which had not felt for billions of years.

And then Arima opens his eyes in a completely new world.....
