Thor slammed the diary on the table in front of Fury, grabbing Fury's collar and hoisting him up, "How do you explain this?"

"Thor, let go!"

Black Widow instantly drew her tasers, ready and pointed them at Thor.

"Do you really think such a small weapon can take down Thor?" 

Thor glanced at the stun gun in Black Widow's hand, smirking unconsciously.

Thor suddenly remembered. 

Just a few nights ago, he had been brought down by a weapon just like it! 

"It's okay, Natasha!"

Nick Fury pressed his hand down towards Black Widow, his face calm, controlling the situation with ease.

"Thor, I know what you're suspicious of and what you're thinking," Nick Fury said.

"But think about it calmly. If I were really behind this, would I leave it out in the open for you to find?"

"Please, do I look that stupid to you?"

Nick Fury naturally began to explain things to Thor.

Thor thought it over and it seemed to make sense, but he still didn't let go of his grip, continuing to question, "Then how did you get this?"

"Same as you."

Black Widow, who had put away the stun gun, chimed in, "In an unexpected moment, it suddenly appeared before us, by means we completely overlooked."

"The only difference is that we got it earlier than you."

Thor looked at Black Widow, then turned to Nick Fury, and gradually let go.

"So all this was Zhou Cheng's doing?"

Thor made an obvious guess, "Who is he? Have you found him?"

"Thor, if I were you, I would take each thing described here seriously," Black Widow solemnly advised Thor.

"I know you don't believe it, but I can prove it to you," Nick Fury said after a moment's consideration, his words taking on a mysterious tone to Thor.

Nick Fury's plan was to ask Thor for some important intelligence after he had rested a bit.

But now, he had changed his mind.

Since Thor also had the journal, things could be much simpler.

Even if Nick Fury asked about Asgard-related issues, such as Loki or the Destroyer, it wouldn't arouse Thor's suspicions.

Without a doubt, he was on his way to find Captain America.

Captain America himself wasn't interested in lifting Thor's hammer.

To him, it seemed utterly trivial and unrelated to himself.

That's why he hadn't tried to lift it at the site of the crater before.

Not everyone had Tony Stark's level of curiosity.

But now, things had changed.

Although Black Widow and the others weren't privy to exactly what Fury had told Captain America, in barely twenty minutes, Fury managed to persuade him.

He agreed to try something he thought was both boring and absurd.

One has to admit, as the king of spies, Fury had a way with gauging people's thoughts.

"I knew it!"

Tony Stark, as Iron Man, certainly wouldn't miss out on such an exciting event; he immediately joined Fury and the others.

Given Stark's understanding of Fury, he could have guessed with his knees that after reading the journal, Fury would surely bring Captain America to try again.

Oh, and of course, Black Widow couldn't be left out.
