The man stopped for a while but again without paying any heed to my question, started coming towards me.

Never in my life, have I seen a sea king as massive as this one, the only one who even comes close to may be Zunesha.

Its size did fascinate me for a while, but more than that its ability to use the Voice of all things and the fact that it can see me has intrigued me.

The power that this sea king radiates is so overbearing that I feel if I was in my normal body, it would be extremely hard to overcome it. The majestic aura it has definitely feels like the one of a king, no maybe of a mythical god.

That last attack which put a hole through this Island was one of the strongest I have seen and what's scarier is that I feel the blast was not even at its full power.

I must inquire why and how did this beast arrive here.

Umm... What should I do?

Well, no point in rambling here, let's just talk to it and by the looks of how it acts, I can confirm it has a rational mind and won't just attack me.

(This entire conversation is taking by using the voice of all things.)

"Oh, hello there, people call me Joyboy, you can say I am the guardian of this place. How about you?", said the man standing in front of the sea king.

'Huh, Joyboy, like the real one, but how is he still alive it has to be around 700 years since the void century this doesn't make sense and he says he is the guardian of this place, maybe he can provide me with some much-needed information.'

'Also, I need a cool introduction, how should I do it?'

"I am Jormungandr."

'Fuck me, that was so cringe. Thank God he can't see my expressions, well let's change the topic for now.'

"What do you mean by the guardian of this Island, was it you who sent those golems to attack me?", hissed the sea king angrily.

"Quite a mighty name you have, but I am afraid you have to answer some of my questions before I can answer yours.", replied the man nonchalantly.

"What questions, you may ask them?"

"First why and how did you come here?"

'Shit, I forgot to make some excuses, I had never thought I would meet somebody here, what shit should I make up definitely can't tell him that I am a reincarnated person.'

"Well, even I don't know how I arrived here when I woke up, I was already coiled up around this Island, and to get more information I ventured here, and your golems suddenly attacked me."

"Maybe some storm washed me up here, who knows, hahaha..?"

'Fuck what a terrible excuse, somebody just kill me.'

"That explanation is vague at most and I refuse to believe that someone as massive as you would get parceled here just by mere sea storm and the golems didn't attack you for nothing, you were going to destroy the poneglyph that's why I ordered them to attack you, but I didn't think you were this strong," groaned Joyboy.

"Well, I don't care if you believe me or not but that's the truth and I wasn't going to destroy the poneglyph or whatever that thing was, I was just trying to engrave my name there," said the Jormungandr calmly.

"Now, my turn to question you, firstly why did you call yourself guardian of this place, and secondly why do you look like a spirit, where is your real body?" asked the sea king.

"To answer your first question, yes I am the protector of this place. This Island holds many secrets to this world which when revealed will cause a huge war and create massive turmoil in the sea. Also, don't waste your time asking what secrets or anything about that dome, I won't be able to answer them no matter what you do."

"For your second question, yes I am a spirit or more precisely I am just a will left by my real body many years ago, I just exist to protect this Island and guide the one who comes here."

"Any more questions?", asked Joyboy.

"Hmm... I have many questions, but you have made it clear that you won't answer them, but can I at least write my name on that stone."

"Well, you seem to be a good guy so if you only want to write your name there, I won't stop you, but you can't change any other thing written there, just engrave your name and go and, frankly with the power you have I am doubtful if I can stop you.

"Haha... Thanks."

Now both Joyboy and the sea king reached the poneglyph and using its tail the sea king engraved its name in the huge stone.

'What kind of monstrous raw strength does one need to have to write on poneglyph without using any instrument or even haki, I feel I did the right thing otherwise if this creature had destroyed this Island in its rage, it would have created many problems, feels like I dodged a bullet,' thought Joyboy silently.

------------ [One Eternity Later] ---------------

"Hahaha... you are quite funny my friend and the stories you tell are also really interesting," said Jormungandr happily after hearing Joyboy's jokes.

"You, too it felt really good to talk to you, it has been a few hundred years since I had such a wonderful time so thanks"

"No problem, you said we were friends so no need to mention thanks between friends just enjoy this time."

"Sure...Sure..."

After talking for a few hours with the Joyboy the sea king was ready to depart.

"Man, do you really need to go, you see we can talk for at least a few hours before I go to my slumber," said Joyboy hoping the sea king will stop.

"Hahaha... I would love to stay here my friend but I also need to hunt for some food before night, so I can at least sleep peacefully and, what did you mean by slumber?"

"Oh, about that, you see I am just a will of my original body so with time I get weak, and maybe someday I will disappear, but that shouldn't happen until I fulfill my purpose, so to extend my lifeline I routinely go to sleep to preserve my energy and only wake up when there are some problems."

"That means this will be our last visit for at least a few hundred years, well it makes me sad but also hopeful to meet you again someday."

"I hope so," said Joyboy with a wide grin on his face.

"Yeah, now as a friend can't you tell me more about that history of the Ancient kingdom and their relation with those you called Celestial Dragons and why are the people of D clan who lived in that kingdom their sworn enemies.?"

"As much I like you, I can't tell you much, even the things I told you weren't meant to be told, I could have explained everything if you had come the right way as described in poneglyph."

"Now if you want to know those secrets, collect four poneglyph and then go inside that dome you see, and you will get answers to your every question," said Joyboy looking at Jormungandr.

"Well, that's about it I guess, see you in the future. Bye take a deep rest," said Jormungandr facing backward to the Joyboy, and started moving towards the sea.

"Bye, friend it was nice meeting you," said Joyboy waving his hand.

With this, both individuals went their own way.

Do you want some other sea kings to be introduced maybe a friend to accompany him as the mc is now both physically and mentally a sea king? so it won't be a problem.
