8 Another Reward!

There is one more place which can be consider legendary in British Wizarding World.

And is, Ollivander Wand Shop.

Ollivander's wand shop has an old and small front, and a wand is placed on a faded purple cushion in the window.

On the door is a peeling gold signboard, which reads: Ollivander, making excellent wands since 382 BC.

If the words on the signboard are true, then Plato was still alive when their family started making sticks!

Professor McGonagall pushed the door open, and the brass bell next to the door was struck, making a crisp sound.

As soon as Jon enters, he got the notification once again.

Jon eyes started to shine.

And finally he choose the EXP from the reward.

Instantly he got several notification of [Level up]

But he didn't check it. Because he needs to select the wand right now.

The store doesn't have a lot of space, except for the counter and a bench, all that's left are shelves of thousands of long, narrow cardboard boxes with wands stacked up to the ceiling.

There was a lot of dust in the store, which was really unacceptable for a wizard who could clean it up.

Jon looked to the left, and an old man with a hairstyle not much better than Einstein turned out from behind the shelf without a sound.

"Oh, Professor McGonagall, long time no see. Then, this is the little wizard who is about to enroll."

This is Ollivander, the master stick maker of Great Britain.

"Stretch out your hand~" Following Ollivander's words, a ruler flew up on the counter and automatically began to measure Jon's height and arm span.

"Which hand is dominant?"

"Right hand."

"Try this one!" He waved his hand, and a box flew over.

"Twelve and a quarter inches, cedar wood, with a core of female Dragon heart string. Suitable for Transfiguration..."

Jon took the wand, and suddenly felt some changes in his panel.

[Wand: 87% Suitable (-43% consumption of Chakra when using ninjutsu, plus boost ninjutsu effect by 4x times, plus chakra control 87%)]

Jon moved the wand, and instantly some ribbons comes out of the wand.

"Oh, it perfect! This wand really suits you."

Although the word Ollivander said were good, but from chakra sensor sensed his mood. And he was disappointed.

Jon wants to try other wands as well, because he might find more suitable wand.

"Mr. Jon, it cost you 7 Galleons." But looking at Ollivander confident face, it looks like 100% suitable wand is pretty rare.

Maybe only Elder wand reaches 100% suitableness, when you killed his previous owner.

Ollivander took the money, and said.

"My father Gervais Ollivander used to say - the owner of a cedar wand can never be deceived. I can't help but agree. A cedar wand is always matched by a discerning owner."

"I would add to my father's words a word of advice, do not make enemies of any master of cedar wands, and especially do not harm those they hold dear."

"People who are perfectly paired with cedar wands are formidable potential adversaries, and those who declare war on them without thinking are usually shocked by this."

The story is good, but unfortunately there is no discount in the end~

No, maybe the story was made up to sell it for a good price!

Walking out with his own cedar wood wand, Jon's thoughts surged:

The wands of the protagonists are all your father's last legacy, or the wands that your great-grandfather made from lightning-struck mahogany... but why I choose the wand almost in my first try.

Is this comman wand for bad luck?

Suddenly he saw his match with the wand actually decrease by 7%.

Is these wands can really think, and read my thoughts?

Magical.

Professor McGonagall was also very satisfied with the result, "Okay, now I have to take you to customize the school uniform."

"Uh~" Jon stood still, "Professor, I just saw second-hand clothing stores and second-hand stores. I think second-hand goods are a good choice given my financial situation."

McGonagall looked at him, made sure that he was not reluctant, and said, "Okay."

In fact, it is really unrealistic to buy a new one with Jon student loans. Unless he was willing to take out his black money.

But Jon is not a fool.

Originally, McGonagall wanted to buy two new robes, and second-hand textbooks. After all, children still have requirements for face.

But since Jon brought it up, there's nothing wrong with it.

The two of them first went to a second-hand robe shop, and next to Mrs. Morkin's robe store, where school uniforms were custom-made, they bought some old robes that were slightly bigger, so that he could wear them in another year.

Then I went to the second-hand store to see what was useful, but I couldn't find a suitable crucible, and it was too broken.

If Jon used this kind of thing to boil the potion, it might blow up Snape to death.

I purchase a set of glass bottles. Although it is a bit dirty, it will not delay the use after careful washing.

It's just that second-hand books are a bit difficult to find, and I don't know if it's because of the economic downturn this year. There are too many people buying second-hand books.

Its just Jon didn't care, because he definitely gonna come to Diagon Alley again, and purchase all the new items.

Anyway, what is the use of money, if you can't even spent it.

These are all for show.

Jon found "Standard Spells, Beginner", "Magic Potions and Potions" and "A Thousand Magical Herbs and Mushrooms" in three volumes.

"Okay, Jon. I have my original textbooks, I can give them to you. Let's go to the bookstore to buy new ones."

Professor McGonagall was very generous. She wanted to give her own textbooks to this thrifty housekeeper and also ruined his freshmen.

"Thank you very much. However, I want to wait a little longer. There are still nearly two months before the start of school. Maybe I can find a few more second-hand books and save some Galleons..."

McGonagall remembered what she observed about Jon after she became a cat: This guy look bigger than others, and physical strength of a giant.

His ancestor must have someone from Giant Blood.

After some discussion, Professor McGonagall finally agreed with Jon's approach and handed over the rest of the student loan to him, allowing him to have time to search for treasures by himself.

Professor McGonagall sent Jon to the bus and left.

And Jon returned to the orphanage with the second-hand goods he bought.

In the car, he thought about it, and finally decided to live in Leaky Cauldron.

He can only find legendary place in Wizarding World. So, it would be better if he stay there.

As for money, he don't have any problem at all.

Money is not everything, but having money will definitely make things easier.
