Chapter 45: Everything is Alright… Yeah, I didn’t Buy That Either

~Third POV~

One day has passed in the Schnee mansion where everything is alright with the family…

Except…

Now Eis Schnee's room has been completely cleaned out…

It seems that his room was hit by an enemy Stand attack with the room now filled with ice…

Only leaving behind three very angry women being Weiss, Willow, and Winter.

Those three have been searching for Eis in his room and when he was gone, they were fairly pissed for different reasons.

For Weiss was that Eis didn't say goodbye or meet up with each other before he left.

Willow wanted to make sure that Eis is safe but when he left without notice that certainly brought back some bad memories of when her late husband tried to assassinate Winter.

Winter was pissed and worried that her brother decided to leave when a literal murder wanted to hunt him.

However, when they all read the letter that Eis has left to them as well as his selfish reason for leaving to it certainly made them all snap reading the first half of the letter while the other half was concealed.

Whitely took this time to call the general and get Penny out of that shit storm that was going down while he nervously hears screams coming from all three of them.

Whitely took the nice idea of getting the letter before his family members calm down first while sweat drops as he thinks how Eis dug his own grave, 'Eis I know that I may tolerate you and all of that but if you manage to live through what those three have in mind then I can forgive you… if you survive first…'

Soon enough when Ironwood heard of this, he immediately hurried to their home with his best agents with him as he was getting increasingly worried about what happened.

The people with Ironwood soon get nervous as they can hear the screaming of the promise of house arrest, beat ups, and crippling Eis legs to be at home was heard.

That made everyone on the airship get nervous about what was happening.

Currently, the General and his group finally made it into the front entrance of the mansion with Penny nervously waiting in the front holding the letter while Whitely tries to calm down his family members…

~Ironwood POV~

This is just perfect, isn't it?

When I thought everything was going nicely today when I heard a call of Eis being missing certainly brought to my attention.

Sigh…

Just great that kid sure has a way to stir up trouble wherever he goes, doesn't he?

Putting my hand over my head I look over to see Penny fidgeting her fingers as if she was nervous but why would she?

She was placed to be a bodyguard for Eis but when I heard she was knocked out I was surprised to hear that happen, but I know Penny would have done anything if that was the case to defend Eis.

However, what happened yesterday was that she was knocked out and Pietro was worried about her when he lost contact with her yesterday.

What is going on and what happened yesterday what is bothering me?

Well, Penny is here to give me some answers I hope soon enough I was near Penny as I calmly ask her, "Penny I overheard from Pietro that he lost communications with you and how did you get knocked out when you were supposed to guard Eis?"

Penny looks at me and the Ace-Ops with some conflict, but she says something that I wasn't ready for today leaving me shocked as well as my members, "General sir the reason why I lost communications with my father is that I'm no longer an android anymore. I'm 100% human now with the loss of my robotic abilities here feel my hand to know the truth."

Penny offering her hand towards me I was skeptical about the whole thing entirely Penny becoming human?

Penny becoming human would be impossible!

But I was soon shocked when she did come and touch my only human hand, I felt…

The warmth coming off from Penny as I say to everyone that can hear me with clear looks of disbelief, "Impossible… but how and when?!"

Soon enough Penny begins to explain to all of us what happens exactly to her with a sad expression on her face, "It happens like this first I managed to catch Eis was about to leave when I was going to notify him that his family is asleep but when I did I was trying to convince him to stay here being safe but confessed to me that there wasn't a reason since he killed Blutig with everyone including me at the cave at the time…"

My eyes grew wide-eyed at this when we all came but that was when Eis was alone with Blutig only for a few seconds!

Soon Clover asks Penny with a clear tone of disbelief as he says trying to defend Eis, "Wait Penny are you sure what he said was true. I knew the kid as he was growing up but what he just said was a confession to Blutig killing him that can't be true right?"

Right, that wouldn't make as much sense but that would explain a few things in how that criminal didn't attack during the years.

I read his profile before he was a patient but impulsive man, but he wouldn't wait a very long time to get his revenge but if he was gone from the beginning then why did Eis lie?

Narrowing my eyes at this clearly looks like Eis has more than brought my attention now.

He told us that Blutig ran away but now he says that he was already dead but then where was the body and how did we miss it in a cave that can make echoes in the area?

Looks like Eis has a lot of explaining to do because this time he kept a secret that he should've kept hidden.

But I was soon brought out of my thoughts as Penny soon explains another ability to me that I wasn't aware of that was possible, "But that wasn't all General sir when I tried to convince him he commented reminding him of… my wish to be a real human girl but that was when he summoned up some golden color being and punched me but that was when I lost the robotic functions that gave Eis a chance to knock me out."

Golden being?

Looks like another power that Eis Schnee has made along with others that we know of sigh…

I swear that kid is going to be the end of me but that won't matter much once I get my hands on him.

When I was about to see what the other reactions of his family life are, I can clearly see that they were not in a good mood seeing that ice is being thrown out from Eis's room yikes…

On second thought maybe waiting for them to be calm would be good but Penny being human does leave some problems for Atlas.

Sigh…

I guess we can Pietro to create another android with a soul but once he hears that Penny is human again, I bet he will be overjoyed to hear that.

Smiling at this I guess this was good for Penny of what Eis did, but he has some explaining to do lying to me in front of our faces.

But soon Penny urges me to read a concealed message from the letter at the same time be confused with her expression, "But General that wasn't all I read the first half of the letter of the reason mostly confessing that he did kill Blutig and why he left to search around Remnant to get experience from the real world but that was on the first half while the other seems to be towards you?"

Well, that is certainly strange, to say the least, did he plan this far ahead that I would come this far for his safety or another reason?

That is impossible.

That would imply he knew that I was keeping a watch on him using Penny or my agents but then again, his Semblance has once again shown to be useful but why be wary of me since I helped him with his weapons?

Frowning at this Eis is clearly someone I have no idea on what's in his head, so I took the letter and read its…

As I was reading the letter a lot of emotions came over me as I was reading every single word not believing it a second but was the undeniable truth!

I reread what the contents say in my head as I get more worried about the warning and tip, he left for me as my nerves were getting nervous about how much he knows, 'Hello Ironwood if you are reading this concealed part of the letter then that means I have left good. With me gone I won't feel trapped in Atlas not that I wanted to mind you, but let's get to the point shall we I know about your group with Ozpin and the other Headmasters trying to help defend Remnant and humanity from Salem so I say this thank you for keeping the peace as you have kept.

But change is coming in a few short years Salem plans the downfall of Vale and the rest of the Kingdoms of how much I'm not sure but there is an issue that needs to be done. Please keep this a secret for the time being since there is a traitor in your circle named Lionheart as he messager to Salem of your plans and Huntsman and Huntresses being killed.

As much as I want to deal with him myself I can't for the time being so I'll trust you to do this but that isn't all the Silvered Eyed warriors do exist that can help fight against Grimm and Salem but that was when Salem is now actively hunting down to capture and I repeat CAPTURE them alive because I don't know how but she managed to create Grimm using their body to fight against Silver Eyed warriors to ensure that they won't be easy to kill.

Salem is using these people as puppets in her sick twisted manner and I have no idea how to help them but that isn't the reason why I brought them out because these… corrupted warriors of Grimm have the thought capacity to learn and speak if you find one these things do what is necessary to find a cure.

But that wasn't all that the message left me a taste of a grim truth that needs to be dealt with but discreetly since Eis has given me a chance to do something about this…

Rather I have to be the one to do this if what he said is true then we are in bigger trouble than we are already in with Salem movements actively hunting these people in the shadows now became top priority to get them alive.

I swore to the Kingdom and Ozpin that I will do nothing but keep this Kingdom and their people safe.

If Salem is hunting these people now in the shadows, then I need to broaden my search for them, but I can't do that directly in the open light since people will get suspicious of my people looking for Silver Eyed warriors…

Looking over to Penny I shook my head as I say to her while rubbing her head, "No I just have to make a certain call to a certain someone and we need you to get you to Pietro to tell him the news."

With that I bring out my scroll hoping that he answers my call after all the favors of his weapons and the importance of this concern I need him to search around Remnant as I search through my end to find more Silver Eyed warriors.
