1 Prologue

We used to be inseparable, I used to think that I was irreplaceable
'Irreplaceable' Niah bitterly smiled after uttering the last word of the song being played as she remembered the reason why does she need to take a break for everything and find her self again, the reason why does her parents forced her to take a vacation in her Aunt-Grandma Lora's rest house for the rest of her summer days so she can be away from the toxic and problematic experiences she have been through.
"Look, Niah I am so sorry you have to know it that way, but I am truly in love with Raely and its time for us to stop this nonsense relationship." Alex, Niah's ex boyfriend's explaination after she caught them french kissing in athlete's locker room.
"She's my bestfriend, Raely you're my bestfriend!" Hoping that they might feel a bit regret for what they did.
"Niah its not my fault if you are too boring and plain! and for your information Alex and I already--*slapped*"
"AHhkk shit!" Alex grunted in pain
"F*ck both of you!"Niah shouted after she slapped and kicked Alex' crotch as she walked out.
'Now lets watch whose boring and plain soon after I'll get my revenge!' She told herself while tears running down her cheeks
* Train horns*
Her deep thinking was short cut after she heard the horn signifying that she already arrived at her destination
"Isoldeus Train Station 3"
It was past 5pm and already dark, Niah was undeniably scared because it is not just because the train station looks old and creepy, but you can add the factor of the surroundings with high trees and few boarding and arriving passengers.
It has been 4 years since the last summer she came here with her brother and she really hates it at first because she was not used to be away from the lights and noise of the city, but as she got closer to her Aunt Grandma Lora she became always excited every summer until she became busy in one summer 4 years ago and she failed visiting the rest house for the successive years
"Niah!" a joyful shout from the waiting area coming from a white haired lady with a pair of round eyes and a wide welcoming smile as she waved her hand while the other hand hold her cane
Niah ran toward her and gave a big hug
"Ohh my Aunt-Grandma Lora I missed you sooooo much!"
"I missed you too Niah, its been four years! I always wait for you every summer" the old woman said while they are still hugging
"I know Grandma Lora and I am so so sorry for that, soooo let me bribe you for that" Niah said as she bring out the home-made sardines in a jar that she bought from her grandma's favorite store
"Hmm you really know how to bribe me huh!" They laughed as they walked out of the train station
'Villa Lucida'
After a few walks from the train station, a massive black gate with a golden lining greeted Niah that signifies that they already reached the rest house.
"Yaya Doris!" The old woman shouted that made another woman from the balcony wearing a maid's uniform who immediately ran to open the gate
"Niah! You are so gorgeous now! You grew up so fast!" Yaya Doris said as she hugged and looked at her from head to toe as if she's scanning her body after she entered the gate
She gave a her a big smile and said "I missed you Yaya Doris!, I missed your chubby face" as she pinched the both cheek of Doris
"Heh!" They both laughed and hugged again
" Its getting foggy here Lets go inside so we can have a dinner and more talks, your father might scold me if she found out I let a mosquito bite her only princess" Lora said that made them all laughed.
After entering the maindoor she immediately roamed her eyes around the main hall of the mansion
"Everything here seems the same" Niah said while scanning the old mansion noticing the same color black and gold themed color of the wall, classic gothic paintings, furnitures and a large chandelier that looks like in the same arrangement since her 1st time visiting here
"You know me since I have found this place, this is the original arrangement, I just asked your father to repair some broken and cracked parts of some furnitures because I find it beautiful and classy" Niah nodded as she heard Lora's explanation
" You can continue touring later but first we should eat dinner because I know you missed this" Lora said while holding a large hot black pot of soup containing the most favorite food of Niah since her childhood
" Waaaah enoki mushroom soup!" she ran to the long golden table and sit while sniffing the spreading delicious scent of the prepared meal for her
" Lets eat! God, I really missed everything in here!"
"Eat more! you are too skinny unlike your old built, does your university doesnt have chefs to cook a lot of delicious and healthy foods?, and your eyes! did you cried heavily?" Yaya Doris cluelessly asked.
"Ah-ehhrm Actually I ---"
" She's just stressed and her father wanted her to take a rest for and have fun for awhile, right Niah?" Niah nodded immediately as Lora winked at her
"Mmm so in that case we should prepare a loooot of delicious and healthy food so you can enjoy your stay here, so you cant miss a summer again without spending it here" they all laughed and talked a lot that night while dining. Later on, after meal Niah started to gather her things and prepared to go upstairs where her prepared room is located.
"Niah," Lora silently called her name before she took her first step on the staircase
"I know what happened, and I dont want you to remember that bad experience anymore darling, look at your face" she said as touching Niah's face
" Your lips do smile but your eyes.. it doesnt, you can fool Doris but not me, not your Grandma Lora" that last statement unlocked the gates in Niah's eyes that made her contained tears flowed
" Shhh, Niah.. my innocent Niah, I wished you could find your happiness and peace in your most lovely heart, I wish for your brave heart and love to grow more" Lora kissed her forehead and motioned her to finally go upstairs to rest
"Niah.." Lora called her again after some few steps
"Can you help me? I forgot where I put my favorite book, it was written by my favorite novel, can you help me and look for it in your cabinet near your bed upstairs in your room?"
"Sure Grandma" and then she continued walking upstairs without looking and unseeing the genuine smile forming in her grandma Lora's face
