Syncing Ghost

Later his mom and dad too joined them, with them joining, they had lots of fun together. Stephen Yang felt goosebumps all over his body when his dad too joined with the women. He felt out of place as he thought that his dad would give him company but he joined with his wife.

'What a headache! Let me join with my wife and see if my dad's trick really does work Move closer… little more closer, make sure that no one sees me'

Family members: "stare"

'What's wrong? Why are all staring at me? Did they notice me?'

"Dear son, what are you trying to do?" his dad and mom asked with a curious stare.

Stephen Yang: 'smile, smile, give the best reassuring smile'

Mr and Mrs Yang staring at each other: 'what is wrong with our son today why is he smiling?'

"Son, are you alright?"

"Son, are you alright?"

Both his mom and dad said at the same time

'Whoa, even dad and mom found it out! I knew it already that my brother was behaving abnormally when he spoke to me, he told a lot of sentences thank god that I was able to keep up with him. Normally he would speak only two sentences and today it was two but they were long enough to fit three sentences.' Cookie Hua thought

'My goodness, even his mom dad felt that their son was behaving strange! I discerned it when he threw me the dry towel. What is this guy trying to do?' Chrystal Zhu looked at Cookie Hua, they both said at the same time

"Brother why are you acting so strange?"

'FREEZE'

At that moment Stephen Yang didn't know what to do

'What is happening, and why are all asking the same question in different ways? And my darling… did she just call me brother right now?'

Stephen Yang couldn't think straight about the situation which was going on right now with his family. 'Did these people plan to do something with me?'

"What's going on right now?" he whispered on Chrystal Zhu's ear

'Goosebumps, goosebumps, goosebumps.. goosebumps' all the four had goosebumps

"That's the question which we should ask see my hands, goosebumps," all the three said at the same time. And Chrystal Zhu felt some relief when they all said but she too felt a bit weird when she was listening to all the three say the same thing at the same time.

"Well, I guess there is something off between all of us that we said each and every sentence at the same time when we noticed Stephen moving like a snail" Cookie Hua wanted to break this thing which was going on between them.

"That's the point," the three said but this time it was Mr and Mrs Yang and Chrystal

Cookie Hua felt like 'which is the point' but she didn't say it out loud because she was afraid to hear all of them syncing. It really felt awkward.

"Well, then all the four have a good talk I'll go to the kitchen," both Mr yang and Stephen yang said at the same time. Now they looked at each other but they didn't feel the need to laugh as the thing which was going on with them right now felt a little suspicious.

"We really do make a good family," said Mr Yang once again breaking the sync mode which was previously broke by his daughter Cookie Hua.

'S.I.L.E.N.C.E… D.E.A.D.S.I.L.E.N.C.E.'

that was the only thing happening as all the five members of the family were afraid to talk fearing that the syncing mode would turn on once when the second person talks.

This silence lasted long enough. It broke only when Chrystal Zhu's stomach made some noise.

'I knew it would do something like this' Chrystal looked at her tummy and thought.

" Let me go and prepare the food" saying that Mrs Yang left the room

Now the rest four did not talk for the next five minutes. Their silence was disturbing as they all didn't know where they should fix their eyes at nor when to open their mouth.

Mr Yang quietly stood up from his seat and walked towards the kitchen to help his wife Xiao Ling. As soon as he entered the kitchen, he saw his wife shivering. At first, he was confused but later when he asked, he came to know that she was shivering in fear.

He immediately hugged her and comforted her. Soon the dinner was over and when Mr Yang came out of the house he saw terror-stricken faces of the young kids. 'did they not speak a word till now?' he was surprised by it and as an elder, he and his wife Xiao Ling comforted the three kids.

"Don't worry kids, our house is not controlled by any syncing ghost ha-ha.." Mr Yang laughed while Mrs yang called them out for the dinner. Just like obedient kids the three went and sat orderly at the dining table.

All the five of then had a warm dinner, no one expected to eat a lot during the dinner and they concluded that it was because they were in so much fear which made their stomach empty and found their good source to fill their tummy.

But among the three, none of them dared to even speak a single sentence not even a word as they still had their fears.

'Wait, I've got a question to ask' Stephen Yang so badly wanted to know the answer.
