John could be seen driving into Mystic Falls that night as he tasked his pack with fixing him up with a house and background for when he is in Mystic Falls. As he enters the driveway to the house he smiles as he takes out a ring from the box with was in the dashboard. The ring was imbued with magic to cast an illusion to show he was younger than his actual age.

The next day, John could be seen driving into town heading towards The grill. He enters and orders a meal, after enjoying his meal he sees Caroline enter, take an order and walk out. While Caroline was walking out he calls out

John : Hey beautiful, you dropped something.

Caroline: dropped what?

John: This conversation we about to pickup, names John Winters.

Caroline: Ok, that was a great opener, haven't seen you around before, you new in town, I should know I know everyone. The names Caroline Forbes

John : Ok, relax beautiful yep I'm new in town arrived last night. I just wanted to introduce myself to the local hotness and so far I'm enjoying the view.

Caroline: Thanks for the compliments I do enjoy them but for now I'm kinda busy but here take my number we should total meet up later.

John : I'll text you and you could text me back when your done.

Caroline: Ok see you soon

John watches Caroline drive away and he soon enters his own car and drives home.

Time Skip

Over the next few months John and Caroline meet and talked a lot ending with them building a relationship where John made her feel special as she was. Caroline introduced John to her friends but was scared that John would too be enrolled by Elena. She was happy when he treated her normally ( like you would treat your best friend's girl) so happy they made love later that night.

John also meet up with Sheila Bennett a lot, which was to be expected as one should always introduce himself to the local supernatural especially a witch from an important bloodline. He asked for the do and don't in her area as he did not want to step on any toes even if he was strong. He still respected the balance that must always be kept among the 3 fractions. He gifted her with grimoires and other magical artifacts.

John smiled after leaving Caroline at her home after picking her up from Elena's to help her grief and give her support. As the end of summer approached, you smiled as you was Rollin up your bag of happiness thinking about how shit was gonna hit the fan so to speak.
