Rules?

"There is trouble!" That was the first message Chris sent to Wilson as soon as he was alone in the room.

Thankfully, it didn't take long before Wilson replied.

Wilson: Not that I'm surprised, but what happened? Isn't it too early to be getting into trouble?

Chris: Shut the fuck up! You don't want to know who my roommate is!!!!!!

Wilson: You've finally met him? What's wrong? Someone I know?

Chris: He's the guy I met today!

Wilson: Well, you just said you met him today, so what are you saying?

Chris almost wanted to swear at him, and as he was about to clarify, he noticed Wilson was typing.

Wilson: Wait! You've met him? Like met him before now?

Wilson: The Sato guy?

At least he was still smart.

Chris: Yes.

Wilson: Holy shit! How come?

Chris didn't want to type the details, so he just went on to give Wilson a call. Unfortunately for him, his dear friend ended the call and texted him immediately.

Wilson: Unless you want Jack to know what we are talking about. He's right here.

Chris: Then fucking leave there! You know I hate typing.

Wilson: LMAO! Sorry dude. But that's just going to make him more curious and suspicious. If Jack presses, I won't be able to hide this from him.

Chris: Whatever.

Wilson: So what happened? How did the Sato guy turn out to be your roommate?

Chris: Apparently, Sato is his last name. But everyone in school calls him that. His first name is Sky. I also met his twin sister.

Chris: She is fucking gorgeous, by the way.

Wilson: Who would you say looks better?

Chris ran his hand through his hair. He couldn't honestly tell.

Chris: I can't even tell. They both look good in their forms.

He replied before he realized they were deviating from the main issue.

Chris: That's not the point!

Wilson: What's the point? Do you want to consider moving out now?

Chris: I should... right?

Wilson: Oh! You are agreeing to this, surprisingly. Scared of jumping him? Is he there? Send me a picture.

Chris: He's seeing his friends out. And no. He may be pretty, but I don't like him.

Wilson: Woah! Why? You feel intimidated?

Chris: You are a fucking idiot. I don't feel intimidated by assholes. He's just so... obnoxious. You had to see the way he was staring at me. And asked me to put on my clothes because his sister was right there!

Wilson: You were naked?

Chris sighed as he remembered what had happened earlier.

He was still surprised that Sato had suddenly turned out to be his roommate. I mean, he had been expecting a rather nerdy senior who looked anything but hot. He had just stared at him stupidly when Sato told him they were roommates until his sister stood up and cleared her throat.

"Maybe we should leave. I apologize for the inconvenience we all must have caused you, but we wanted to meet Sky's roommate and introduce ourselves." The girl had said and Chris could swear she was putting in enough effort not to openly check him out.

Before Chris could say anything, Sato stood up with a small towel in his hand and looked at all his friends. "Time to go. Get your asses up and get lost." He said to them before he shoved his sister to the side and stood in front of Chris. He gave him one stare-down before he placed the towel on Chris's wet hair.

"Don't catch a cold," he said in a nonchalant tone before he walked out with his friends while pulling his sister by the hand out of the room.

Wilson: Are you at least wearing a shirt now?

Of course! As much as he would have loved to remain unclad just to piss off his roommate, the weather wasn't favourable. But his hair was still damp. He had thrown Sky's towel on his bed as soon as he left the room with his friends.

Before he could reply, the door opened and Sato, or rather, Sky, returned. He wasn't sure how to address him now.

Sky locked eyes with him before he went to sit on his bed facing Chris.

Chris raised a brow at him and just stared back as he waited for Sato to say something since it was obvious that he wanted to.

"You don't like my friends." Sky finally said in a calm tone.

"Am I supposed to?" Chris asked with his already raised brow arching higher.

Sky shook his head. "No. But you were rude."

Chris stared at him in disbelief. Was this guy serious right now?

"Tell me how to react to you and your friends playing with my boxers?"

"You got that wrong." His tone was still calm and even.

"Explain?"

"There's no need. There's a pack of food for you." Sky pointed at the nylon bag on top of Chris's table, which he was just noticing now.

Did he think everything was going to be fixed with a bag of food?

"I don't want it."

Sky let out a short laugh as he said, "You are dramatic."

First of all, he had a pretty laugh. Secondly, he was an asshole! Geez.

"I am?" Chris asked, trying to control his temper. If only this guy knew who he was.

"You should eat as I let you in on some ground rules."

"Rules?" He asked in confusion, and Sky nodded like it was the normal thing in the world.

"For being my roommate. I'm guessing you've never lived with a senior before."

"I'm not doing this shit with you," Chris said as he stood up and went to take the lunchbox from his table and dropped it on Sky's table.

"You don't have a choice, Chris. I'm being nice to you. It's rare for a senior to treat juniors this nicely."

Chris scoffed. He sounded like they were a decade apart when they were most likely age mates. Chris could swear he was even older than Sky.

"You are so annoying. Do you have a girlfriend?" He doubted that anyone would be able to put up with a narcissist like him. What was so special about this guy that everyone was crazy about?

Sky looked a bit taken aback by the unexpected question, but he recovered and smirked, "Isn't it a little too early to be hitting on me?"
