Chelsea's Pov: 

"Hey? Did you guys hear that the building where the unaffiliated train was apparently destroyed. The entire island shook." Subin said. 

"Oh." 

"Hm" Yuna hummed. 

"Uhm..." Jiwoo made nervously. 

"Yeah! Awakened ones must have had a battle or something for it to get completely demolish." Jisuk commented. 

"Did you guys see the power of it though?" Subin said. 

"Well, you see..." Jiwoo began. 

"Don't bother." Jisuk said. 

"Huh?" 

"We're well aware that the teachers are covering something up, so you don't have to explain anything to us. Sure, we have no idea what happened, but we don't want to get you guys in trouble just to find out." Subin replied.

"Ok." Jiwoo said as they all look at him weirdly before turning to Yuna and I who are feeding on snacks. 

"Thank you." Jiwoo nodded his head. 

"There's no need to thank us." Jisuk said.

"By the way, they're wrapping up this semester of the academy." Subin said. 

"Really?" Jiwoo and I asked. 

"Yeah, we had about two weeks left, but since the gym collapsed, they're just going to end this semester early as some of the teachers seem out of it..." Jisuk replied.

"I see." 

"Hm" 

"Well get some rest as we're heading out." Jisuk announced. 

"Already?" Jiwoo asked. 

"Yep, see ya tomorrow." He replied. 

"Okay, bye guys." 

As they were leaving Wooin stopped for a moment. 

"Wooin?" I asked. 

"Did everything work out between you guys and Sucheon's grandfather?" He asked. 

"Yeah." We replied. 

Wooin left after hearing our response.

"You guys have probably already heard the news. As of today, this semester of the academy is over." Mr. Jang announced. 

Everyone but Yuna and I make a sad face. 

"Don't be disappointed. As you already know, this academy will be reorganized, and your education will significantly improve by the time you guys come back for the next semester." Mr. Jang said. 

Everyone then smiles brightly and blush a little. 

"Continue to train and enhance your powers. I hope for the best of you guys, and I'll see you all next semester." 

"Yes sir." They all said. 

"Mr. Jang?" Jihye called out. 

"Huh?" 

"Thank you for teaching us! We were lucky to have you as our instructor." They yelled. 

"You'll be teaching us next semester too, right?" Jihye asked. 

"Of course. Who else would volunteer to teach you punks?" He replied shyly.

"Yippeee!"

[Awakened Academy's Outdoor] 

"You guys better keep in touch!" Gangwoo said. 

"I'll make a group chat." Jihye offered. 

"That sounds great." 

We were all walking and chatting happily when someone called out to three individuals. 

"Jiwoo, Yuna, and Chelsea." 

We looked to him and he asked to speak to the Seo siblings in private. 

"I'm Gangseok Choi of Baekho." He said. 

"Hello" 

"Oh, hello" 

"Hm" 

"You'll be back for next semester, right?" He asked.

"I think so." Jiwoo replied. 

"I guess." Yuna said. 

"If I have to." 

"Good. I was disappointed that I never got to spar with any of you." He said. 

"Spar?" Jiwoo said nervously. 

"Don't be alarmed. I have nothing against you. I just simply watched you're fights and wanted to spar with you guys. Well especially you Jiwoo as you engage in close combat like I do." 

"I see." 

"Let's spar next time we meet. And Yuna, Chelsea." He said grabbing our attention.

"Though I am pretty sure you guys are way stronger than any affiliated all together, I want to spar with you guys too." 

"Sure" 

"Oki" 

"Hm" 

We then walk back to our dorms where we spot Kayden. 

"Mr. Kayden!" We all exclaimed. 

"What are you doing out here?" Jiwoo asked. 

"I wanted to say goodbye before I left." He spoke. 

"What?" 

{His acting is good.} Yuna said. 

{It is. It's like watch an opera.}

"Goodbye?" Jiwoo realized. 

"Yeah, it's time for me to go back." Kayden said. 

Jiwoo makes a sad face. 

"No need to be sad, I'll come visit you later." He reassured. 

{Damn, he almost made me brought the act.} 

{Hm, he is 'The Great Kayden.' What can't he do?} Yuna said. 

"I- i want to go with you." Jiwoo exclaimed grabbing Kayden's arms. 

"You know you can't." He replied. 

"Keep everything I've taught in your mind and practice. I'll check up on you sometime, okay?" 

"Okay" 

"And you two. You guys are younger than Jiwoo, but more mature than him so watch over him." 

"We would have done so even if you didn't tell us." 

"Hm" 

"See you, kiddos." He last said dramatically before leaving. 

Jiwoo being the softy he is cried. Noticing this, we rubbed his back to comfort him. 

"He left you guys behind to protect you. Kayden's definitely not a bad guy, but because of his ruthless nature, he has made a lot of enemies. And among them, there are people who have power and influence that even Kayden has difficulty dealing with." Seongik Han said. 

{Nope} 

{Not a chance.} Yuna said. 

{What was stopping him from going against three World's Top Ten at the same time?} 

{Nothing.} Yuna replied.

"If you joined him at such at time, it might put not only your life but Kayden's, on the line." Seongik Han continued. 

"Even Mr. Kayden's?" 

"Yes, because you guys are his apprentices." 

"But..." 

"Kayden has been challenging and defeating opponents not caring about the consequences he will make against certain famous awakened one's family. As he gets stronger, many seek him out in order to take his power away or learn it from him. But he never accepted anyone. You guys are his only apprentices. That is also why Kayden made an appearance to help you out." 

After hearing Seongik Han speech about Kayden, Jiwoo became determined to get stronger. We returned back to Jiwoo's dorm where we saw, a very eerily familiar chubby cat. 

*SNORE* 

"Mr. Kayden!!! I thought you really left!" Jiwoo cried. 

"Huh? What are you talking about? I've used a bit of energy." He replied tiredly. 

"But you said you had to go." 

"That was only to fool Seongik as he was persistent. Anyways, I'm heading back to sleep. I'm exhausted from using a bit of my powers without a nap." Kayden yawned cutely. 

 "Hehe"

Inhyuk drove the Seo siblings back home as we waved everyone goodbye. As we enter our house, our kitties greeted us and just like that, a new school day has started for Jiwoo. 

*Ping - ah, I don't wanna go to school. (Jihye)

*Ping - Me neither. (Taeyoung) 

*Ping - Neither do I. (Gangwoo) 

*Ping - Gosh, you guys... (Jeongsu) 

*Ping - Now that I think about it. I had more fun with you guys then I regularly did. (Jihye) 

*Ping - Same (Gangwoo) 

*Ping - Me too. (Taeyoung) 

*Ping - Hmm (Jeongsu) 

*Ping - I came out to feed the stray cats before going to school. (Jiwoo) 

*Ping - Wow you even feed stray cats. (Jihye) 

*Ping - You sure are a sucker for them. (Gangwoo) 

*Ping - What about Yuna and Chelsea? (Jihye) 

*Ping - We don't have school so we're at home chilling. (Chelsea) 

*Ping - Lucky (Gangwoo) 

*Ping - Wait! Aren't you guys younger than us so you should be in school too? (Jihye) 

*Ping - We graduated early because we're smart. (Yuna) 

*Ping - So you guys aren't only strong and beautiful, but also inteligent. Gosh! The world is unfair. (Jihye) 

*Ping - You guys must be god's favorite. (Gangwoo) 

*Ping - Hm perhaps (Chelsea) 

*Ping - I just spotted Wooin feeding some strays, so I'll text you guys later. (Jiwoo) 

*Ping - Bye (Everyone) 

*Ping - Me and Yuna are gonna work out. See ya. (Chelsea) 

*Ping - My class is about to start too. (Taeyoung) 

*Ping - Alright, we'll talk later. Bye guys. (Jihye) 

"So, what ya wanna do?" I asked Yuna. 

"I don't know, wanna ask Inhyuk if we can chill at Shinhwa." Yuna replied. 

"Isn't that... I don't know, rude?" 

"Since when do you care about those things." Yuna narrowed her eyes. 

"True I don't. Let's ask." 

Yuna texted Inhyuk and asked him. 

*Ping - Chairwoman said that is alright. Do you want me to pick you two up or are you guys going to teleport here. (Inhyuk) 

*Ping - We will teleport. Where can we do that without drawing too much attention? (Yuna) 

*Ping - You can teleport straight into chairwoman's office. (Inhyuk) 

*Ping - Okay (Yuna) 

"Ready to go?" Yuna ask. 

"Yeah, let's leave a note for Mr. Kayden before we leave." 

Once I finished writing, Yuna and I instantly teleported to Shinhwa.

[Shinhwa] 

Yuna's Pov: 

"Hello, thank you for having us." I bowed. 

"Yo" Chelsea said immodestly as I brought my hand up to her head, making her bow with me." 

"Not at all." Inhyuk said as they both sweat dropped at Chelsea's greeting. 

"Why are you guys looking at us weirdly?" Chelsea questioned tilting her head. 

"You... Nevermind. I assume you guys have questions for us about Mr. Kayden." 

"What do you mean 'You'?" Chelsea asked offendedly. 

"You be quiet, the adults are talking." 

"Hey! We're both 15." She yelled. 

"You certainly don't look or act like a 15-year-old. Especially that of an adult." 

"YU-" She was about to yell when I held her in a straggling position with one of my arms over her neck while the other was for covering her mouth. 

"Anyways, what was I saying?" I asked innocently while Jiyoung and Inhyuk sweat dropped. 

"Um you were talking about Kayden." Jiyoung said calmly. 

"Oh yeah! You guys can ask away, but I won't answer any personal ones." 

"Mhhhhh" 

"Will you hold still?" 

"Mhhhhhhmhmh" 

"If I let go, you won't do something troublesome?" 

"Mhmh" Chelsea muffled and nodded in reply.

I let her go and she went to the couch to sit down. She took out a lollipop and ate it with a pout on her face mumbling something about 'how we were supposed to come here for fun.'

*Sigh* 

"Jiyoung, do you mind if Chelsea can explore Shinhwa as long as she doesn't cause any trouble." I asked as you can see Chelsea practically beaming. 

"Uh sure. Inhyuk can you guide her." 

"Yes chairwoman." He replied guiding the very happy child out. 

"So... Back to business. What would you like to know? It doesn't only have to be about Kayden but also a bit about our powers if you like." 

"From what Inhyuk has told me, you're a cautious person so I can't quite figure out why you're carefree at this very moment." 

"Though that is true, I did tell him that I trust you guys." 

"Why though? What makes you trust us?" She asked. 

"Let's just say I am very good at reading people." 

"Reading people?" 

"Yeah, and my instincts are telling me." I said as I lift up part of my blindfold to show one of my distinctive eyes. 

This made her flinch and become on guard.

"It's that you're a trustworthy person who is incapable of expressing yourself that you care, but you show it through your action. You hide underneath that cold persona because as an awakened one, we live dangerous lives where at any moment you show a hint of weakness, is when you lose." 

This made her eyes flicker in emotion before returning back to her cold emotionless ones. 

I laughed a little before continuing. 

"I don't mean any harm in saying that. It's just, saddening knowing that someone had to grow up very quickly without being able to experience their childhood to the fullest." 

I think back to my previous life and how lonely I would be if Chelsea hadn't been in my life. 

"You make it sound like, you're just like me." Lowering her guard.

"We're not. But we share the same pain. Ones where we watch on the sidelines where those we love are happy, safe, and healthy. Even though we're left out, you'll feel quite satisfied knowing that they're alright and your sacrifices weren't in vain." I said in a comforting tone that helps Chelsea and Jiwoo fall asleep at night. 

This time, her eyes became watery, and a tear fell from her alluring eyes. 

"Ah...Thes-" Jiyoung began as her tears continue to fall even though she kept wiping them away with her sleeves. 

"Jeez." I shook my head as I got up with my blindfold falling to my neck. 

I walked towards her before kneeling down in front of her, startling her at first, before she calmed down. I then took out a tissue out of thin air and wipe her tears away. 

"You shouldn't wipe your tears away with your sleeves, or your eyes will become swollen. People who see this will suspect you of crying which will lead to troublesome questions." I said as my gaze made contact with hers. 

'She looks very vulnerable right now...' I thought before realizing.

'I made the Jiyoung Yoo cry...' 

"Haaha" I laughed making Jiyoung embarrassed. 

"Hey, why are you laughing at me?" Jiyoung asked shyly, unlike her regular confident self. 

"Ahem... Sorry, I- I wasn't laughing at you." I said wiping a tear forming in my right eye. 

"Then?" 

"It's just that, I made you cry. Even though we were supposed to talk about serious things. Sorry about that." I said softly still looking at her charming eyes. 

Looking at her eyes made it feel like time stop itself, even though it shouldn't have as only Chelsea and I can manipulate it. Yet, I felt lost staring at her obsidian-colored eyes.

'Did I stop time on accident?' 

*Badump, Badump* 

*Badump...* 

'My heart beat?' 

Hearing my heartbeat was when I realized I was still glaring at her, and our faces were quite close too. I immediately turned my head away from hers, blushing a little as I got up to move back to my seat. From the corner of my eyes, I can see Jiyoung blushing too. 

'Weird, did I make her uncomfortable?' 

Once I was back to my seat, I started scratching the back of my head awkwardly.

"Um, sorry if I made you uncomfortable with what I just did a couple of minutes ago."

"I-I wasn't uncomfortable at all." She replied instantly making her flush.

"It was nice." She mumbled quietly that I wouldn't have heard it, if not for my enhance hearing. 

I smiled knowing I didn't make such a kind soul sadge. 

"If you want..." I began making Jiyoung face me. 

"We don't have to talk about Mr. Kayden right now. We can always discuss about him later whenever you want. That also include things about me, Chelsea, and Jiwoo, if you like. Or if you ever want to just talk to me in general about anything, I'll be here." I said with Kakashi's infamous closed eyes smiled. 

"I would like that." She replied still a bit shyly. 

"She's cute." I though at loud which made Jiyoung blush. 

"Ah! I said that out loud, didn't I?" I blushed a little. 

"Yeah..." She replied even more quietly. 

We then looked at each other before laughing a bit. 

"Anyways, what do you want to know about me? I'll answer them to the best of my abilities."

It took her a few moments to think of a question before looking at her calendar. 

"When's your birthday?" She asked making me laughed while she pouted. 

"Sorry, sorry. It's just out of all the things you could've asked me, you asked for my birthday." 

"But, you said I could ask you anything." 

"I did say that, but I just couldn't believe it for a sec. Anyhow, my birthday is December 7, why?" 

"It's quite soon, you'll be turning 16 soon." 

"I guess, did you ask because you wanted to celebrate it with me?" 

"Tha-" She blushed. 

"Hehe, you're really adorable y'know." I said in a fond tone. 

"Thanks?" She said unsure as her face became as red as a tomato. 

"Next question." 

"Wait, don't you think it's unfair that you're the only one that has to answer questions?" 

"I don't mind." 

"But I do. So, let's do it this way. Every time I ask you a question, you can ask me one." She said strictly making me unable to deny. 

"Alright." 

"Then ask away." 

"Do you like cute animals. Specifically, cats?" 

"Aren't you a hypocrite now? You could've asked me anything, yet you asked if I like cute animals." 

"Perhaps I am. But you started it when you asked for my birthday. So, what's your answer?" I asked teasingly. 

"I-I do." She replied sheepishly as I smiled.

"My turn, what's your favorite color?" 

"Hm, they would be black and purple." I said looking directly into her gorgeous eyes. 

She looked down to cover the blush appearing on her face before saying,

"You're, such a tease." 

"But you make it easy." 

"Y-you meanie" She exclaimed poutingly. 

"Hm, would you prefer going to the aquarium or the zoo?" 

"Aquarium." 

"Waffles or Pancakes?" 

"Pancakes"

And just like that, our 'speed date' continued for an hour or so, until Chelsea and Inhyuk returned with a bunch of unhealthy snacks.
