1 Affinity Test

Chapter 1- Affinity Test

This story starts around 1800 years ago during the Jin Dynasty in the capital Luoyang to the east in a small village named Shengping.

On the night of a full moon a child named Taiyuan was born to the chief of this small village and his wife.

When Taiyuan reached the age of 4 he was able to take the potential exam to determine his potential and if he has the affinity for magic or martial arts.

On his way to meet the examiner he had seen a flock of crows "a bad omen" he thought to himself as he continued on his way.

Whilst he was waiting in the line to be examined he heard a few people saying that one of the kids had one of the highest scores in over 200 years and his affinity was for magic.

"wow really i hope i have an affinity for magic".

"why would you want that martial arts is way better and much cooler".

"yeah but magic stronger at the beginning and it will only get stronger wheres martial arts takes a lot more effort and requires much more resources".

Taiyuan thought to him self "i just hope i have an affinity with good potential"

within around 5 minutes there was only 2 people left before Taiyuan got examined and it was the 2 that were arguing earlier.

"Lou Zang, step up and place your hand on the crystal" Lou Zang was the one who wanted to have an affinity for magic. Lou Zang placed his hand on the crystal within a breath the crystal started to change color and got brighter.

within a couple breaths the crystal was a bright azure color and shone as bright as a light bulb. "Congratulations Lou Zang" said the examiner whilst handing over a small piece of paper.

Potential: high

Lou Zang was ecstatic when he read this whilst also showing a slight bit of disappointment since his element was water as water is more of a support element and does not have much offensive capability at least not till he becomes stronger.
