Secret's Out Of The Bag. Problems of The Marauders. Solution By Lily.

"Where are they going?" She muttered to herself. She thought how immature she was being. James and the others went out, broke rules all the time, she never cared then. Why was she interested now but she didn't have an answer for herself. Neither did she go back.

She spotted James's shadow moving past the great hall, near to the main doors, she hid behind the doors as she saw the three friends moved into the bitter cold with no jackets or sweaters. She tugged at her robes as the piercing cold stabbed her pink cheeks.

"Come on,Wormtail, quickly, Moony will be there already."

She scoffed at these names, They thought they were so cool with the nicknames.

"Oh my God." She gasped, she couldn't believe it.

She could not BELIEVE what she was seeing, James, Sirius and Peter had changed forms. From Humans. To animals.

She saw a black dog in Sirius Black's place, something that was not quite visible was now in Peter Pettigrew's spot. And in James Potter's spot stood a stag. It was all so clear. James was Prongs because he was a stag. Sirius was Padfoot because he could turn into a dog. And Peter was Wormtail because she assumed he turned into something small.

And Remus was Moony so he was ...He was a, he was a...She was so shocked as the truth dawned upon her. Remus Lupin was a Werewolf, she remembered all the disappearances. All of them were for-nightly. Every fifteen days Remus was in the hospital wing.

It was a pact for them whatever it was. They made it sure that they will always be together. Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs. She was deep in thought. And Prongs was the person who she thought was inconsiderate and thought only of himself. And sure enough here he was, putting himself in the gravest of dangers to be with his friend. James Potter wasn't a douche, he was a great guy.

A chilly wind came, and Lily turned her face to the other side.

"Come on! Come on, Moony, just a few more steps!" James and Sirius were helping Remus up the stairs and to the hospital wing.

Lily steered up, she didn't realize that she had fallen asleep behind the door. She saw the back of Peter Pettigrew, holding a blanket, scurrying behind the two taller figures.

"Come on, Prongs," Sirius told James as James moved with a little difficulty.

Remus was now fast asleep under the good care of Madam Pomfrey. But James didn't look so good.

"Change!" Peter whispered but Lily could hear them.

Lily saw James transform again, his leg had a deep wound. Sirius was now talking to Madam Pomfrey,

"We found this deer, outside, and he has a wound, we thought, you know, you might have some antidote

"No, Mr. Black, I don't have any, but look at the poor thing, I wonder what happened." Madam Pomfrey looked apologetic.

Sirius and Peter knew what had happened, Usually werewolf bites didn't affect animals, but it was getting deeper. Peter had done some research in the library. But he couldn't find a cure.

"I'll make a potion!" Lily spoke up.

"Lily!" Sirius and Peter turned in shock as Madam Pomfrey disappeared into her office.

"What are you doing?"

"I was studying late, then I went out for a walk." She half lied, half told the truth, rather sheepishly.

"Okay! How quickly can you whip this thing up?"

Sirius wasn't interested why she was awake at this hour, he just wanted an antidote for James. He had seen books and articles which stated that people could die because of the animagus injuries. And they had to keep it a secret. For them. For Remus, For the Marauders.

"About a few hours!" Lily told him, "Where did you find him?" Her eyes widened innocently.

"Just outside," Sirius said casually.

"Where's James?" She threw another question at him.

"He's..."

"He's...sleeping!" Peter quickly said.

They both followed Lily to the Potions room, she quickly took the cauldron out, and she whipped out ingredients from the cabinets. She was going through her notebook, as the stag moaned in pain. The wound looked deep and bloody. It was spreading slowly. Only the Marauders knew that the wound was almost a fortnight old. It was hurting James. It was affecting his human side. Like the last time he mounted on a broomstick for a Quidditch match, his leg pained like crazy. But he played for the team.

Lily's pot was now stewing, and vapors were rising from the cauldron.

"How much more time?" Sirius looked anxious, as James wiggled and squirmed.

"Almost ready!"

"Now?" Sirius was impatient.

"Now."

The potion was ready. Lily brought it up to the stag, Sirius took the cauldron from her hurriedly and put it on the floor,

"So are you sure it'll cure the wound?"

"I am positive." She smiled crookedly.

"How much time will it take?" Peter asked her.

"A few hours, I suppose." Lily stood up. "I gather, you'll let the deer out? I am going to bed."

Sirius thought she smiled weirdly but right now was not the time to think about it. The wound was going to heal, in a few hours, Prongs's pains were going to be over.

"Come on, Jamesy, look at me." Sirius was looking at a very pale looking James.

He had just transformed back, the potion had drained all his energy. His eyes were shadowed and looked heavy. He was looking weak. He was still in pain. Peter was sitting near Sirius, he looked scared. Lily stood by the door and looked at all of them. This friendship and friend circle amazed her so much. They were there for each other, no matter what happened.

But the pain was not over for young James yet. The potion she made would hurt him, before healing. It was very effective but was very painful. It was a painful process. Lily couldn't watch so she slowly went back to the common room.

"Ahhhh," James screamed as his face screwed up.

He was screaming in extreme pain, the screams echoed, Lily wished she could do something, but she couldn't. It was supposed to be this way.

"James, Prongs, Prongs, it's okay,It'll be okay..." Sirius was constantly trying to soothe him, but it was as if the wound was on fire.

"Who are we kidding?" Peter said slowly. "She knows this is James, and she hates him."

"Don't be a prat!" James snapped through his wound bleeding, which was now showing on his human form. It was getting smaller. But slowly and not to mention painfully.
