A prayer for today

O Jesus Christ , help me today to be filled with your Holy Spirit , to be on fire to do good deeds that will please You and our Father that is in heaven . Give me streght and courage so that I can help the poor , so that I can visit orphans and widows in their sufferings and ease or dispel these burdens they have . Some situations are here to test our humanity , our sincerity and our wisdom , to see how and if we are as faithful to you than you are to us .

Thank you Jesus for your unending love , grace and mercy . Thank you for your own blood that you have spilled on the cross so that I am now saved , and a new creature . Thank you for the fire baptism . Thank you for everything .
