11 How the world works 1

Befor I can continue with the story you the reader needs to know a little about the world around the main character.

Normally I would just add this info as the story goes on.

However because of the complexity and amount of things this world has to offer it makes it hard to.

First let's look at the rankings for monsters in this world.

E rank: Regular animals such as rabbits, dogs, etc.

D rank: weak monsters like goblins and slimes.

C rank: monsters like orcs and hobgoblins.

B rank: monsters like high orcs and weaker magic animals.

A Rank: rare type monsters, baby dragons, ECT.

S rank: adult dragons, orc kings, ECT.

SS rank: ancient dragons, orc lords, and demon generals.

SSS rank: demon lords, True dragons, etc

X rank: demon gods, Dragon kings, evil gods.

Welp that's the ranking for monsters.

Next up rankings for adventures.

E rank : normal people, and newbie adventures

D rank: guards, shop owners, weak adventurers.

C rank: guard leaders, blacksmiths, your average adventurer.

B rank: town leaders, Guild clerks, experienced adventurer.

A rank : Guild masters, city leaders, veteran adventurers, Royal guards.

S rank: kings, powerful adventurers, Guild CEO.

SS rank: hero candidate, head magicians, etc.

SSS rank: true hero and etc.

X rank: Gods.

Now you may wondering why are black smiths, Guild clerks, and etc are such high rank.

The reason being the people in this world aren't stupid.

They don't solely relie on adventures to save them in times of crisis.

Also it always bothered me how in every fantasy world soldiers were relatively weak.

Also another thing is people have sub rankings.

Sub rankings are when someone is good at one thing in particular.

Take for instance a c Rank adventurer who while highly intelligent can't fight very well.

This adventurer wants to take a A Rank request of helping a village fight off a goblin hoard.

Normally the adventurer wouldn't be able to do this request, but because of his sub ranking when it comes to his intelligence which was S rank he could.

The reason being even though he couldn't fight physically, because of his mental abilitys he could help set up defenses and etc.

Anyway on to magic tiers.

Magic tiers are ranked from 1- 10.

1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest.

Rank 1 magic would be things like water creation or sense magic.

While rank 10 magic could literally destroy entire continents.

Now let's talk about currency.

The currency in this world is copper coins, silver coins, gold coins, white coins, and royal gold.

A single gold coin could keep a family a four going for a week, while a single royal gold could keep a family going for 2 life times.

One hundred copper coins equals 1 silver, 10 silver equals one gold, 1000 gold equals one white coin, and 10 white coins equal one royal gold.

To put it in perspective one average sword equals 50 copper, while an average house is 1 gold.

Moving on from that lets talk about some crucial laws all countries have.

The majority of countries legalized slavery.

But unlike most fantasy worlds it's organized and a decent system.

There are a multitude of different types of slaves.

One being war slaves, which are enemys that have been captured and put into slavery.

Another being loan slaves, people that couldn't pay bills taxes etc, so they were put into slavery for a certain amount of time.

Other types of slaves exist but these are the main two.

There are various rule concerning slavery.

Such as someone cannot simply put a person in slavery for no reason it must be a good reason such as the person has a loan and hasn't paid.

Also you cannot force a slave to do certain things like sex or combat, unless said slave is a sex or combat type slave.

Slaves must also be decently taken care of, and cannot be abused or killed without reason.

Slavery has more rules but there are a lot so I'll explain it in a future chapter.

A cool law most places have is race equality.

In the beginning it wasn't like this but the races learned there lesson after a huge war against the demonic evil deity known as Chase.(will be explained in a History lesson chapter)

Since then the races put there differences aside and stood to gether in case something like that happens again.

There are more laws but that's for another time.

I will give a detailed explanation about various laws and regulations on a different date.

That's all for now.

If you have any questions or suggestions please tell me.

Anand done.
