Jungkook's POV
"Hey going down to the Jen's cafe today? Looks open?"
Suga asks me. "Erm no thanks" I said being on my phone. "Come on it will be fun! I heard the owner is an ex-FBI informant during her school days. Young but capable!" Jimin adds on.
"Okay I will go with you guys" I gave in, taking my hoodie and heading down to the cafe downstairs the company with them. A staff ran to us excitedly as we reached the company.
"Yes?" We asked the counter lady running over with a paper plate of chocolate cake. "The owner gave us all food on the house! And she's exceptionally pretty!" She said eating the cake excitedly.
"I can't wait for her to come stay over with me at my dorm since she just came back from the States." She continues. "The boss is an American?" Jin asks her. "Nooo she's born here but studied in the States for a long time" The staff continues.
'That kinda sounds familiar' i think to myself. "She doesn't talk though. She just uses sign and boards to let us get the free cakes. Weird for a new shop opening." She adds on.
We end up saying goodbye to staff and walking inside. It was dead set quiet and I can't help shivering as I saw the counter too full of chocolate roll cakes
"Whats wrong?" RM asks me. "Everything just feels so familiar to me for some reason." I said to him remembering how my own sister tells me during our childhood that she wants to own a quiet mini cafe of her own some day
"Help yourselves with the chocolate roll cakes! On the house!" Suga reads the sign on the counter
He picks up one. "So that means we won't get beat up stealing cakes?" Suga says jokingly. We all softly laugh. Then I saw a familiar figure pacing in with the CEO looking at us, it was my sister cause of her height and the way she looks at me
I look away. "I was thinking Miss Jennifer, since you've just returned from the States and giving free cakes, I can give you rent-free." The CEO says.
"It's okay. I am still paying the rent and then get a tent set up outside to spend the night." I heard the voice responded to the CEO
"I can put you up in a place for a while." He says. "It's too dangerous for a young lady to be alone at night." I heard Jin says.
"You are?" She asks Jin. "Kim Seokjin. I am a idol here." He tells her. She just nods her head.
"Do you need some staff? I can arrange some interviews for you?" The CEO even asks her. "As long as they are not out of their mind, I don't mind." She says
She then looks at me dead in the eyes. "Brother?" She looks up scratching her head
I nod. "Long time no see. Just make sure no mess is made cause I need to clean up at the end of the day." She says walking right back in.
Everybody then looked at me in shock. "What?" I ask them as I look at them and the ceo. "You and her-" Jin points between me and her.
"She's my sister. She studied in the States for a long time." I explained briefly taking one cake and eating it myself
"I just didnt know she come back here." I mumble. "You and her are so different" Jimin says. "Hadn't she called you brother, I wouldn't have known she's your sister!" Jhope continued
I just eat my food as they keep going on how different we two are. "I mean we're busy, do I even know she will set up this soon?" I defended myself when V asked me teasingly if I know anything about my sister's cafe
"Are you okay?" He asks me. "Yup I just feel she's different." I nodded my head thinking about the sister I knew would give me hugs the moment she sees me.
"I was thinking about your sister's accommodation. It's not very nice of a cafe owner like your sister sleeping in tent out." The CEO then talks to me
"She can stay with me." I tell the ceo. "Like Jin Hyung says it's dangerous for her to be alone at night" I added on my explanation
He nods, agreeing. He soon leaves to get my sister's belonging arranged while V is asking me to get my sister to introduce herself.
"She's introverted and she doesn't trust you guys yet it seems." I said
"She will slowly warm up to you." I add on. She's soon out with more cakes. "Where you staying in Seoul?" She asks me putting out more chocolate cakes and making us drinks
"Somewhere close." I tell her as she quickly finished one drink. "Got your accommodation?" I asked her. "A tent out nearby will do. The apartments are too expensive." She says quietly giving V and Jimin their drinks
"I have enough money to pay for mine." I tell her. "Come stay with me." I said and she thinks a little before agreeing.
"Better than staying elsewhere. I don't know much people here." She says giving the rest their drinks.
After a while I do help her get things done, closed the shop and bring her to my apartment, separate from the rest in case there are fans discovering us.
