I can't believe I did that. After all the things we went through today, I decided to be an idiot and pull a princess move! I rubbed my hands together and kept my head facing the window of the hummer.

"Jack!" I jumped at my name, and I looked to my sister, who had arms crossed across her chest.

"Did I miss something?" I asked. Jen nodded and pointed to Pierce. He caught us up on everything on the way and now was sitting with a glass of what I could only assume was alcohol.

I looked to Kodi, who was now holding my sister's hand. Chloe sat next to me, but she had music playing in her headphones. She wasn't paying any attention.

Pierce took a drink and sat it in a cup holder. "Chloe is a great woman. Take good care of her." I blushed and nodded. I wish I had a handheld so I could distract myself from the awkward silence. Jen leaned against Kodi, making them look like the perfect couple, despite them both looking like they just survived a horror movie.

The hummer came to a stop and I jumped out immediately. Jen followed after me, then Kodi and lastly Chloe.

Pierce gave a wave and then whispered something to Chloe, who nodded. The hummer pulled away and we stood in front of the cabin.

"Well! I think I need a shower and a good long sleep before we call my mom to come pick us up now," Jen said. She slid off her jacket and handed it back to Chloe before she went into the house. Kodi followed her like a puppy.

Chloe cleared her throat. "So, about that kiss," she started. I blushed and cut her off.

"I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable! I was glad you saved us from everything and that we were alive and I've felt this way even before I knew you were twenty-three. And I'm rambling," I managed to stop talking to look down at the ground.

Chloe laughed and leaned against me, wrapping her arms around my sides. "I was going to say that I liked it and I hoped that we could do it more often." I almost screamed in delight when she stood on her tip toes to kiss me. I leaned down to make it easier and she ran her hands through my long hair. "I'm going to have to get used to doing this more often."

I pulled away and smiled at her. "Let's go inside and relax." Chloe nodded and I grabbed her hand to lead her inside.

Jen had been a mess, covered in dirt and her nightgown damp from the snow. I sighed and pulled out her brush to clean her hair as she sat in the large bathtub in the room she had shared with Chloe. Jen sighed and leaned against my leg.

"Something wrong?" I asked, making her look up at me in confusion.

"Nope, I was just wondering what we were gonna do from here. Are you mad at Chloe?"

I didn't think she'd ask that. "I'm not mad anymore."

"Anymore?"

"Well, I thought she was doing things to get you hurt and my suspicions were right. Seeing her now willing to sacrifice herself for you and us, I guess I think a bit differently."

Jen nodded her head as she took in my words. "Alright. Try not to be mad at her anymore." I smiled at the request and nodded.

"As my princess says." Jen leaped up, pushing bubbly water all over the floor.

"I'm your princess! That means you're my princess too!" I laughed. Not what I had in mind but since she was so happy with it I couldn't just say no.

"Alright, I'll be your princess too," I told her. She squealed and hugged me, soaking me with her wet body. I tried to push her off, but we ended up falling into the bathtub. I groaned as Jen laughed. I splashed her and she yelped, splashing me back.

"Let's take a bath together like old times!" She said, tugging at my shirt. I rolled my eyes and began to undress. Jen squealed in delight when I finished undressing and was sitting in the warm water. She had grabbed the brush I was using and managed to hit herself in the head with it.

"Be careful!" I scolded her, making her pout and rub her forehead. I kissed her forehead and she laughed.

"Let me brush your hair!" I nodded and took my hair out it's ponytail for her. Anything my princess wanted.

Jack was very relaxed with dating an assassin, which surprised me. I didn't think she'd be interested in dating at all since she was always playing video games and working. I sat next to Jack as she was pulling controllers out of her bag.

"What are you doing?" I asked. Jacklynn looked confused at the question before she smiled.

"I'm playing video games. Wanna play too?" She asked. I didn't actually play video games and I didn't see the purpose of playing them. Jack held a controller out to me and I took it. She pulled out what seemed to be a racing game.

She gave me a rundown of the controls and started it on a level she thought was easy. Just as the race started, a scream broke through the cabin. We leapt up and I dashed up the stairs and down the hall to where the scream came from. The door to the room I shared with Jen was still broken and so I ran in to see it empty. There was splashing and another scream. I ran to the bathroom and opened the door. Jen and Kodi were splashing in the bathtub.

Jen saw me and screamed, ducking into the deep water. Kodi sunk too but kept her glare on me. "Did you need something?" She asked. I shook my head. Jen looked at Kodi with a stern mother look, making Kodi pout.

Jacklynn came in the room, panting hard form running up the stairs. "Are you guys okay? OH MY GOSH!" She covered her eyes.

Jen laughed at her sister. "Jack, we weren't doing anything but taking a bath together! You're so weird!" Kodi laughed too and splashed Jen, making her yelp and splash back. I took a step back from where I could get splashed. Jack turned around and looked to me.

"Is it okay for two teenage girls to be taking a bath together completely naked?" She asked me.

"It's just like two kids taking a bath together," I replied, making her blush and run out the bathroom. I laughed at her and followed her into the bedroom, where she was sitting on the bed, covering her face. I sat next to her and hugged her tightly to me. She sighed and smiled.

"Let's go play some video games!" She said. I nodded and let her stand to stretch before we made our way back downstairs. I grabbed my controller and sat next to Jack, who already had her controller in her hand. She restarted the race so that it was fair and we played. It was about an hour later when Jen and Kodi came downstairs. Kodi carried a blanket for them to cuddle under and Jen was wearing a T-shirt that belonged to her sister.

"Ooh! Can we play too?" Jen asked her sister, shaking her leg.

"Yeah, I got all of my controllers. Grab one and jump in," she responded, not taking her eyes off the screen. We played about nine rounds, all of them won by me, except for the one that Jack snuck by with.

"You guys are in cahoots with each other on winning!" Jen accused, tossing her controller onto the couch and slumping against Kodi for support.

"You've always been a sore loser," Jack replied, laughing at her sister. We all laughed as Jen pouted. "Anyways, what's for dinner? We can make something to eat and watch a movie afterwards?"

"Sounds good to me!" Kodi said jumping up from the blanket, making Jen yelp and fall into the spot Kodi was sitting.

I nodded. "Food and a movie sounds good to me too. Let's go see what's there to eat."

We all went to the kitchen and settled for making pizza. As it baked, we picked out a movie to watch. "Who doesn't love this movie?" Jen said, pointing to the case she was holding in her hand. It was a movie I hadn't seen and everyone had watched before and agreed that I watch it with them.

Once the pizza was done, I took it out and cut it up and we all migrated back to the living room to eat and watch the movie. I sat on the couch, Jack sitting close to me and Kodi and Jen sitting on the floor. Jen put the movie in and we all got comfortable.

-Jen-

I ate my pizza quickly so I could watch the movie. Kodi kept her arm wrapped around me the entire movie and I leaned on her shoulder. Halfway through the movie, I snuck a quick peek at Chloe, who hadn't looked away from the tv since it started. I smiled and went back to watching it myself.

The movie didn't seem as long as I remembered it. As the credits rolled, I noticed that everyone was asleep. Kodi was leaning against the couch, her arm still around me and her mouth slightly open. I smiled and looked to my sister. Jack and Chloe were laying on the couch, Jack laying on top of Chloe. It was pretty funny since Chloe was shorter than Jack and so she looked smashed under my sister. I snuggled up onto Kodi and went to sleep myself.

The smell of pancakes woke me up the next morning I sat up quickly to see Kodi standing over me with a plate of pancakes and bacon. I took the plate and nodded my thanks. I shoved a pancake into my mouth and Kodi rolled her eyes before placing a kiss on my forehead.

Jack walked by, plopping onto the couch and pulling out her new handheld game. Chloe walked in and sat next to her, watching over her shoulder.

"Hey, Chloe?" I asked after I swallowed my pancake. Chloe looked to me and I smiled. "Can you teach me how to do that thing you were doing with the gun and the karate and stuff?"

Chloe blinked for a second before nodding. "Sure. It will take some time since it took me about six years in total to learn all of that."

I squealed and nodded. "I'll practice so much I'll get it too!" Chloe laughed and nodded.

"How about teaching us all those cool tricks?" Kodi asked. Jack nodded too.

"Sure, I can teach you all."

Jack's phone chimed and she yelped in surprise. She pulled out her phone and sighed. "Mom's outside. Let's go and get our bags." I nodded and jumped up. "And you need to get dressed." I looked down at my legs and nodded. I ran upstairs to see my outfit laying out in front of my bag on the bed. I quickly dressed and almost tripped, trying to get down the stairs with my bag. Kodi and Jack had their bags and I spotted Chloe standing without a bag.

"Chloe, didn't you pack anything?" I asked. Chloe shook her head.

"I had everything I needed here and since I can't take anything from the Corporation, I don't have anything anymore."

Jack looked at her in confusion. "Nothing? What about your house?" Chloe shook her head. "And clothes?" Another head shake.

"You can stay with us!" I told her. Everyone looked at me and I kept talking. "She can stay in your room, Jack, and she can get a job since she's not a student and save up until she can get an apartment."

Jack nodded and I smiled. "Sounds alright with me, it's only if you want to, Chloe," she said. Chloe thought for a second and nodded.

I jumped into the air and squealed. "Sleepovers every night!" Everyone laughed and we all got into the car. Mom smiled and started down the path back to the city.

"So, I'm guessing since you guys called me back you didn't enjoy the trip?" Mom asked. We all looked at each other and Jack spoke up.

"We, uh, I think we got just enough out of two days." Mom laughed and looked at us all.

"Well, at least you guys had fun! That's all that matters."

I had to bring up Chloe's living condition. "Oh yeah, mom, is it okay for Chloe to live with us? She doesn't have anywhere to go, and she could stay in Jack's room!"

Mom was silent for a minute. "I guess so. It'll be like Jessie and Jamie never left!" We all groaned at the mention of my other two sisters. They were already married and moved into different places.

"Thank you so much, Mrs. Vestercott. I promise I won't be a burden," Chloe said.

"Oh my goodness, I know you won't, you've never done anything to hurt my daughters!" Kodi snorted and I elbowed her in her side.

The rest of the ride was silent, except for the radio going in and out of channels. I kept myself rested on Kodi and Jack sat on the front with mom so Chloe sat beside me.

As I got comfortable, I realized that this kinda brought all of us together. I knew that Kodi and Chloe didn't really like each other but now they tolerate each other because she saved me.

"Hey Chloe?" Chloe turned her head to me. "Why didn't you, yanno, do the thing?" I didn't want to say 'kill me' since my mother wouldn't be happy and neither would Pierce. I just figured he'd be listening to us.

Chloe blushed as everyone perked up for the answer. "It was because I had developed feelings for you but I knew Kodi liked you and so I made it my goal to protect you. That was what the plan was for."

"Plan?" I asked. Chloe nodded.

"Get you to the lake house, isolate you, keep you safe from them. It was going to happen but then that one guy that worked with me came in and did that thing," she replied. I faintly remember that, but it was such a blur, I kinda forgot what happened.

I nodded and laid my head on Kodi. I wasn't tired but I wanted to relax. We've got about five hours until we get back home, and I got to spend it with my best friends and my girlfriend.
