KIRASHI HATAKE POV

(AN: Raven will be called Kirashi from now on in order to avoid confusion. She is a female form of Kakashi.)

She raised an eyebrow but didn't question him as she removed the seal and opened the door.

The corridor was empty but she could sense another person running toward them. A person that she recognized with the empathy sense given to her by the Shroud.

And there was only one girl she knew who could be so excited at the prospect of meeting them.

A second later, a black haired girl with a red cape on her back and a familiar face appeared in the corridor.

The 13-year-old Asian Ruby looked at her and gave a wide smile.

"Aunt Raven!!!" Ruby yelled and ran up to her before jumping at her with her arms outstretched for a hug.

She felt like moving aside and allowing the girl to fall but Naruto wouldn't like that so she stretched her arms and caught Ruby in a hug.

She went inside and closed the door before putting the seal back in its place, Ruby still hanging like a limpet from her neck.

"Your eye is so pretty." Ruby commented as she stared at Obito's Mangekyo Sharingan. Then the girl noticed Naruto and Satsuki and used her semblance to jump at them instead.

"Pyrrha. Jaune!!!"

She held back a sigh.

She would have to teach the girl to not use her Semblance while in this world. And to not call them by the names they had in Remnant.

She sat down on her seat and waited for Ruby's excitement to die down.

It took a while but they were finally back on track. She explained to Ruby how she couldn't go use their original names and how she couldn't use her Semblance anymore.

Ruby, who was called Ru Bi in this world, showed that she was not an idiot by telling them she had not used her Semblance in front of anyone.

Once that was out of the way, she finally came to the real reason why she called this meeting.

"I want Ruby in the team." She said. Because without a Jounin to guide her, Ruby won't be able to learn much in this village.

"But a team can only have… oh… you want to kick Sakura out of the team." Naruto said as his comprehension dawned on his face.

"Sakura… Wasn't she the girl who went and became the Tsunare's apprentice?"

"Tsunade. Not Tsunare. And yes Ruby. She does become an excellent medic in the future. But right now, she's nothing more than a burden. And I have no intention of carrying that burden."

"That… sounds harsh." Ruby commented sadly. "I mean, I was bad at fighting once too. If Uncle Crow hadn't taught me how to fight with the Scythe then I would've never gone to Beacon and met all of you."

Naruto sighed "Ruby. It's not as if the girl is useless. But at the moment, she's more interested in dressing up prettily and going on diets to take care of her figure. That's just… not how being a ninja works."

"But she was in this team in the original timeline, right? And wasn't she supposed to be important in the future?" Ruby asked and she closed her eyes in exasperation.

The girl was too kindhearted for her own good.

Now she regretted not bringing Ruby to the Bandit Extermination missions they did in Mistral and Vale.

"Maybe. But Sakura didn't really become relevant until she started learning under Tsunade." Naruto said "If we hand her over to a medic then that would be better for her than being in a team with Aura users who are better than her at everything."

"But, won't she feel like we abandoned her?" Ruby asked as she looked at Satsuki for help.

Satsuki looked away, not wanting to be the victim of another puppy eye attack.

"I don't like this either." Satsuki said but before Ruby could cheer, she continued "But… maybe it'll be better if Sakura is trained by a Medic instead of by Kirashi."

Huh… the girl must have done something foolish if even the kind-hearted Pyrrha- Satsuki isn't willing to support her.

"That's three out of four votes." She said before Ruby could say anything more "You're outnumbered Ruby. So we'll do it my way."

Ruby didn't look happy at her words and crossed her arms while pouting.

It was a heartbreaking sight and poked at her shriveled Motherly instincts.

She ignored that feeling with practiced ease.

"I'll talk with the Hokage tomorrow and see what happens." She said "Now. Is there anything any of you want to talk about?"

Naruto nodded. "Ruby. You live in an orphanage, don't you?"

Ruby nodded.

"You'll be living with Kirashi from now on." Naruto decided.

She scowled, not liking the breach in her privacy.

But having Ruby in the house won't be so bad.

And she did owe it to Summer to take care of her girl until her dead best friend could be resurrected.

She was only returning a favor since Summer took care of Yang when she left.

"Okay." Ruby said, not sounding very excited at the moment.

"Aside from that. I'm holding a meeting during dinner back at home. Be there at 8 pm. All of you. I need to learn about everyone's whereabouts and punish Yang for her transgression."
