Part 1: FATSN

<Chapter 1 Beginnings

The Federal Authority of The SuperNatural, an organization that deals with monsters that normal people cannot handle, may it be an Ogre, or even a pack of werewolves the FATSN will deal with it appropriately.

A skinny tanned kid with black hair and black eyes stands on top of a building looking down at a pack of werewolves, that are looking up at him growling and drooling with anticipation.

"I guess you puppies are ready for me? Make sure to share okay? Oh..by the way.. My name's Jake..Jake Flash!"

He shouts as he dives down and strikes one of them across the face, sending it flying into a building. Two werewolves lunge at him trying to bite into him. Jake then ducks and uppercuts one of the two werewolves into the sky. "Come on! You can do better than that!"

Jake punches the other werewolf heads off and leaps off another drop kicking it. Using the momentum from that one dropkick, he launches himself through the werewolf rolling to his feet. A werewolf swipes at him, but he blocks it with one finger "Really?" Jake says smiling as he palms the werewolf into a car causing it to explode.

The werewolves surround him and start to howl, but the howls become louder and louder, confusing Jake.

"What's going on? I never heard of werewolves howling like that before.."

The howls continue to grow louder, then Jake wakes up as his alarm is blaring next to him at the time saying 10:30.

"OH NO I'M LATE I'M LATE!" Jake rushes through his house scrambling and tripping over things trying to get ready. "Okay Okay Okay let's go!" he rushes outside his house jumping on his bike as he heads down the street.

Jake reaches this building that is shaped like a dome with a huge sign that says FATSN "Okay..maybe i made it before they reeeaaalllyyy started.." he says as he is locking up his bike as he heads inside."

"Hey Jake!" a female voice says from inside. Jake looks over with a surprised expression on his face. He sees a girl with short puffy brown hair with hazel eyes with a tan skin color.

"Hey Evie! I kinda forgot you were joining FATSN too!" Jake says chuckling embarrassingly. Evie sighs "Honestly..you are still the same kid as before." Jake just gives Evie a small smile as they both head into the auditorium and sit down waiting for orientation to begin. The auditorium is filled with chattering that has nervous and exciting energy.

The room quiets down as an old woman walks in looking around everyone staring intensely. "Greetings everyone..i'm glad you all could join me today. All of you have been interviewed, most of you have abilities that normal people would dream of having. The ones that don't will be put in less 'stressful' situations.

Jake thinks to himself "Maybe my powers will come soon..then i can join Evie!"

The woman continues "Anyways, today we are going to show what you're going to be dealing with. I'm sure everyone knows about the monsters but here are the levels that we put the monsters in." The room grows darker and everyone here seems tense. Jake smiles with excitement waiting for it to continue. A screen is shown behind the woman that shows a chart that has different types of monsters on it.

"Let's make this rather simple, we will categorize the monster based on what one can do on a city level, before we can get there to help. Here's our first example of a low tier creature"

As she speaks it switches to the next slide that shows a small green creature. Jake looks in awe "That's a Goblin…" he whispers in excitement. Evie shushes him as the woman continues.

"This here is a goblin. By themselves they aren't as strong as a normal grown man, but in numbers they can turn into Mid Tier if not dealt with properly. They are small and cunning and not something to underestimate."

She switches to the next slide that shows three different creatures, a werewolf, a griffin, and spectral being. "These creatures are those that would be on a Mid Level Tier. They can cause harm to cities pretty quickly but they aren't on the same playing fields as those that are on the High Tier."

Right as she says that a hole Burst! Through the roof crushing some people sitting down in the room. Mass panic spreads throughout as people scream and run around. Jake looks up in fear as he sees three giants peering down into the auditorium. They then start to reach in and grab people crushing them like bugs.

"Jake come on! We have to leave! These are high tier!" Evie says, pulling Jake and taking him outside. Jake keeps watching "How...how did the giants get here without anyone noticing…" With a horrified realization he looks at Evie "They aren't th-"

The entrance explodes as they see two humanoid looking demons hovering in. "Are these the new recruits for your silly force?" it says mockingly.

Evie stares at the two demons "Jake..stay back okay? I'll protect you.." Jake nods in agreement, scared speechless. Evie clutches her hand in front of her "Athena's Shield!" as a bright yellow shield of light appears on her hand as she stares down the demons.

One of the demons walks forth and stares her down towering over her "You're brave..or is it the human stupidity? Either way I am indeed impress-." Evie uppercuts the demon with the shield, then deals a destructive blow to his stomach sending him flying out the building.

The other demon charges Evie, grabbing her by the arm and breaking it. Evie howls in pain. Just then Jake runs up and tries to punch the demon.

"EVIE! I'm coming!" The demon smiles "I sense something different in you boy.." He drops Evie and slaps Jake against the wall, grabbing his head and slamming him on the ground. Jake's face starts bleeding as he coughs up blood "Ack!" The demon laughs "He's not even worth the beating..i'll have more fun with the girl!"

Evie tries to get up, but the demon from earlier stomps on her back and she screams in pain. The demon stepping on her back smirks "SHe was right we really shouldn't underestimate you humans."

Jake looks up and all he sees is red as more blood runs down his face. "Is this it?..Do I die here?" he watches as the demon drops him to the ground and starts walking over to Evie.

The two demons look down at her ready to squish her as she struggles to move as she calls out for Jake "Jake help! I can't move!" She starts bawling and squirming under the demons feet as they laugh again "Pathetic where was all that bravery earlier..?" As the demon finishes that sentence his head rolls against the floor. The other demon looks around as both of his hands start glowing.

A man stands behind the demon with what seems to be an enchanted axe with nordic symbols on it. He kicks the demon in the back and it sends him flying away. The man has slick black red hair, with streaks of black, with a stubble beard and brown eyes and dark skin.

"Attack the new recruits, and have the capability to work together. You monsters have sure gotten a lot smarter, but that won't save you from me." Jake looks up being barely conscious. "Who..who are you?" The mysterious man looks at Jake and Evie, walking past them as an emergency medical team comes in and carries them both out. Jake's vision fades to black as he reaches out for Evie.

'A few days later.'

Jake wakes up in a hospital room, with wrappings around his head. He is looking at the tv that's in the corner that shows the news from what happened a few days ago. The building seems to be almost completely destroyed with bodies from the giants still trying to be moved. The reporter gets on screen.

"A few days ago The Federal Authority was assaulted with what looked to be an ambush from Mid to High Tier monsters. Several casualties were reported with more than 200 reported injured or missing"

Jake turns the tv off and sighs holding his hurting head, his eyes widen with realization as he jumps out of bed and rushes around the hospital.

"Where's Evie?! Where is she?!"

Nurses and doctors try catching him but he keeps slipping past them, and sliding between their legs trying to look for Evie. Eventually he is caught by one of the doctors.

"Kid calm down! You can't be running around like this, you suffered severe head trauma!"

Jake keeps trying to break loose, pulling and screaming.

"WHERE IS EVIE!?"

"Hey Jake can you not be too loud? It can be really hard to rest with you screaming and running around."

Jake looks up and sees Evie in a wheelchair staring at him looking annoyed but glad that he is safe.

"Ms.Evie you can't be out of bed, you have to rest."

The doctor loosen his grip enough for Jake to rush over and hugs Evie as his eyes start to tear up. Evie just embraces Jake smiling.

"Evie i'm sor-"

"Shut up Jake it's okay you did what you could, i'm glad we're both okay."

Jake continues to cry and Evie pushes him off rubbing her shirt.

"Enough Crying!! You're getting snot in my hair!"

Jake just laughs it off as they hear a familiar voice.

"You two. Are you okay? I couldn't really make sure, I was too busy fighting the other high tier."

'It's the same man from before that saved Evie and me, he seems calm and collected even regarding everything that happened. He doesn't even seem injured at all even from fighting that one high tier.'

Jake thought to himself, he stands next to Evie and looks up at the FATSN agent.

"Who even are you?"

The man smiles softly, rubbing his hands through his hair.

"Where are my manners? The name's Dasean Wingush, I have been working with the FATSN Agency for some time now, but we aren't here to make friends. I need to take you two with me."
