Untamed emotions

It has been a month since Icarus attacked. Everything is going great so far. Mia recovered and thankfully, she has no recollection of what had happened.

Van has done great so far in his school, but he barely made any friends at all. Sure, it is fun to be around Raymond, Boston, and Lester, but all of them are Tim’s friends. He needed to befriend someone who’s his age.

At this point of his life, he’s not that picky, but he is sure not dumb enough to befriend some bad people. Right now, he’d rather focus his attention on class rather than waste his energy looking for some friends, besides, he had already enough on his plate.

Van was wholly paying attention to the class. He did not notice that Kate has rolled a paper and threw it underneath his desk. And until the end of the class, he has not noticed it. Kate wanted to convey a message to him since she’d be busy for the next few days but to no luck. She’ll try next time.
