No surprise left

Van’s eyes trailed off on the street. The road were crowded by people and cars. He already guessed it was work hours. His daily training exercise should start thirty minutes from now. But he could spare another minutes to tell Kate what he had witness when he was out in the forest last night. He hoped she would believe him. After all, they’ve faced things that anyone would consider abnormal. This shouldn’t be an issue.

“After we got home last night, I’ve snuck out and went to Alastor’s old house in the forest…”

“Wait, you snuck out?” Kate’s hands were on her hips. “Your brother warned you not go out without his permission. Are you seriously trying to get your ass house arrested?”

“I know, but you’ve got to know things I got from Alastor.”

“What?”

“He got me a suit.” Van said.
