A talk

The sweet broth lingered in the air as though it had woken up a part of him. Marcus came hurriedly out of his room and to the kitchen.

What he saw right there was all kicking well and good gal, singing and dancing as if she had not been sick for few days.

Marcus started forward and carefully not to disturb her and sat down quietly while waiting.

Jane flipped the egg, put some salt, then she cut it in two and put in each plate. Almost insufferable, she squealed in surprise when she saw Marcus, smiling ear to ear.

Jane cleared her throat and served the plates and bowls on both side of the table.

Marcus patiently watched her ate the fried egg and spoon the soup on her mouth. Jane brought her eyes up.

“What is it?” Jane strictly asked.

Marcus shook his head. “Nothing.” he said. “I just found it astonishing you can move nimbly like that despite the fact you just recovered. That’s a spirit I rarely see.”
