Trip To UK Ball

After the dinner jade went upstairs to the balcony to catch fresh air the lying in the room became so intense, that she was still pacing in her heels when Clinton appear from the back with a glass of champagne.

"Hey! You okay"? He asked handing one of the champagne to her she took it.?

"Avoiding drunkenness and some Chinese takeout I don't wanna blow our cover I'm not a person that should have too much alcohol" she sips the champagne and then hand it back to him, he kept the two glass on a short stool beside a plant, he looked at the view jade was looking at before he came in.

You did pretty well back inside and mom she likes you well I don't even know half of your life can you do the needful by telling me what you mean by beauty line" jade looked away from the view it was midnight already although it wasn't effecting the Abraham mansion is always lit every day of its life.

"That's my dream, what you said back there did you mean it" Clinton looked confused trying to dictate which of it she meant.

"The best thing that ever happened to you" jade picked it out for easy remembering, Clinton burst into a peal of brief laughter.

"Nope I don't- he cut in sharply noticing the disappointment on her face he resumed saying.

" just to make it more believing we had to make her see us that we are in love with each other, my mom believes in love and there is nothing like love without chemistry" so he knows that what a jerk!!! jade heart broke at that instance maybe she forgot this is a job and not her life.

"Why can't we be in love real then, why should we lie" Clinton breathed out running his hand in his hair in frustration.

"I don't have feelings for you jade not to anyone, I sleep with prostitutes the ones that are not I make them as well, I'm wild to your liking jade you deserve a better man than me I'm not your type"

"Or I'm not your type, your mom wouldn't like me because I'm not high maintenance, because I'm poor because I'm not as hot as Nicki Minaj" jade hugged her tightly for a few seconds before releasing her.

Jade blew out taking it the other way round Clinton was only trying to explain the kind of person he is he was an honest man whore.

"You're different and unique plus you look beautiful tonight, don't let anyone belittle you jade you're you, and your personality matters - jade looked back at the view it will rain soon thunder strikes the clouds.

"I like it that you're honest with your lifestyle, I wanna thank you for everything without you I mean lying I wouldn't look this way anyways I wish it was real can I kiss you goodnight" Clinton agreed, jade remember Brie's words again don't be scared to kiss first, ask for sex first, you can lead him on if you want him don't let your conscience deprive you of something they can turn out beautiful if it worst then is a lesson.

Clinton and jade kissed passionately it was different from their other kiss for more than one hundred and twenty seconds both of them lurking Clinton's mom interrupted them, she smiled shyly jade looked away.

"I'm sorry for bashing in, this is my spot my weather forecast is telling me is about to rain in two minutes, honey y'all can go upstairs and have a good rest" she took the champagne and gulped it all before giving Clinton the glass, jade kissed her goodnight Clinton ask her to go ahead he had to speak with his mom. Jade told Mrs. Amika goodnight before leaving she caught Clinton's eyes on her hoping the kiss wasn't as bad as she thought, Clinton couldn't get his mind off the Kiss stuck here with his is not his ideal just want to go in and get over with it but then they have to keep it one hundred not to terminate the contract out then the rain began to pour heavily.

"I see love in your eyes I am happy son that you found your soulmate even in my grave I will be happy" Clinton hardly let out a smile he nod to make it seem perfect just like she's seeing it, still feeling guilty conscience truth about it is he can't back down right, either way, he still has to keep his end of the bargain, he brought up the real estate merger to mom, she never always have the time to talk about it yet she spends two hours talking about how she met the love of her life. he's not in love maybe when all this is over she will understand.

"Mom I and jade would leave first thing tomorrow, I have this trip to London about my real estate collab with good homes I was thinking maybe we could strike a good deal you know land appreciates every year-

"Are you thinking of dealing with your late father's estate it belongs to the family Clinton I have told you it will bring so much disaster there are other assets you can strike a deal with and not that?" What assets is she talking about the penthouse that belongs to me and she still controls it, that's an old building with old fashion style he intends to remodel it into modern luxury content homes her mom always disagrees, he said silently to himself maybe when he marries jade he will have more upper hands the more they stop counting him as a boy the better for them?

"Alright mom I think we should call it a night, see you in the morning" he kissed her mom on both of her cheeks.

"Jade will soon become your wife discuss things like this with her I think she will have a better idea about it, she's young and intelligent based on her speaking I know she went to the best schools if I was her parent I won't let a Golden child like that school in Nigeria is such a waste when the UK and Australia exist" Clinton chuckled as he kissed her again bid her good night and left.

Jade just got out of the shower when Clinton came in he decided to go back and let her finish however jade said it was fine to watch.

"Don't sound that way I'm not gonna watch you" Clinton cringe his face when he said that it did not go well for jade she retorted back.

"Do I disgust you or I'm smelling" Clinton quickly refrains explaining to her that since they had nothing going on is not proper he sees her nakedness, he turns to make the couch with pillows, and jade walked in the flip flop taking a robe from the closet she gave one to Clinton she was in a towel?

"You don't have to do that the bed is big enough we can share it-

"Not like last time jade I am a man and you're a woman I don't want anything that will tamper with the contract we need to be as clean as possible" Clinton insisted On sleeping on the couch he immediately looks away when jade dropped the towel and wear the robe.

"Why are you having a problem with me do you want your mother to suspect us what if any of the maids walk in seeing this chaperone how will you explain" Clinton understood she has a point there.

"I know women, money Is their language I'm not going to have sex with you jade the earlier you get this the better for us" jade watch him walk into the shower, that was as honest as possible she have to stop leading him on.

"I'm not after your money Clinton you rather come to me with it your deal of one million dollars still stands sex or no sex," Clinton told her to stop with the charade of she's not after his money.

"You will be having a lot of attention right now I'd be okay if you wanna see someone else but it has to be discreet maybe after this entire drama we can get along which is not promised," he said from the shower jade could hear the water still running.

"Is fine Clinton I don't know why you think I need sex from you, I'm just looking out for you I can't let you spend the night on a couch how discomfortable is that last time I slept on the couch falling asleep over a Netflix movie I couldn't stand because my spinal cord broke?" Clinton told her to sleep because they are jetting off to London.

"London!!!" Jade exclaimed suddenly the heaviness of sleep disappeared this is her first time going to London. Clinton got out of the shower he did everything in the bathroom, jade giggled his face was so fresh she wanna kissed it.

"Mother will get the jet ready is there anything you need"? Clinton asked going to the bed covering himself with the duvet jade was still standing.

"All I have to do is grab my passport from my apartment" Jade jumped into the bed hugging Clinton, she was leaving for London in a private jet Woah this is crazy pretty sure she is going to have London nightmares before even getting to London.

"Heh heh heh enough now I wanna sleep" jade releases him, she curls into the bed backing him as well, Clinton stares at her first before he slept backing her, he switches off the lights and then told her good night jade responded.

A hard knock on the door before both of them realized they cuddled while they slept, Clinton brushes off the embarrassment off his face as he quickly gets to the door for jade to continue to rest this is not one of those days she runs around in her apartment cleaning and getting ready to catch the bus Issa new life and she's going to enjoy the best of it regardless.

"Good morning sir" the chef greeted wheeling the breakfast to the bed, she took out trays containing breakfast jade sees a lot of this product in TRUNTS never knows what they are for.

"Good morning ma'am hope you have a good sleep and how was your night" the chef greeted jade, with a smile she explained to him in detail her night was great, Clinton blew raspberries although she didn't catch him to do that however it there a need of that to give the chef detail he lean over and kissed her.

"Morning sweetie" jade knew he did that because of the chef so he can pass a message she greeted him back as well,

"There is ice if you need it for your lemon I think is more healthy without ice" jade doesn't have any of these in the morning she pops four slices of bread in the toaster after spreading her favorite strawberry and apple jam.

He wheeled away from the room closing the door behind him Clinton sat opposite jade as he made her breakfast.

"Here eat this and stop struggling" jade tasted the bread tasted so nice and soft, and Clinton added two pieces of ice to her lemon.

"Cool lemon tastes better" he sips some before giving her, jade thank him.

"About the cuddle, we call it fair 'cause it was both of our faults" jade blew raspberries Clinton couldn't finish his statement.

"Can we act like nothing happen it was just a cuddle Clinton, for the record I slept fine" she devour the bread again licking the tips of her hand.

"And slow down with that-

Jade sneered at him still chewing the heavy chop in her mouth, Clinton shrugged resuming his statement.

"kinda slept peacefully I mean in a while now I have been working mixing with the gym I think last night was peaceful maybe we should cuddle some times for our good". Jade sneered at him he quickly cut in retreating from the bed implying he was just joking.

Brie keep attending to customers putting the money in the drawer she did not notice Dominic standing for over a few minutes she finally did she thank God she wasn't On her phone.

"Good morning Dominic" he responded his face wasn't good enough like the rest of the morning she resumes here.

"Are you sick sir?" Brie asked instead he kept looking around from the entrance and twice at jade's desk still no sign of her.

"Where is jade Einstein she suppose to resume before now this is about nine o'clock" Brie smiled putting the gums in the jar.

"I forgot to mention to you there were quite a handful of customers this morning jade is no longer coming she quits" Brie didn't expect the kinds of reaction she got from Dominic he was stunned and mad at the same time isn't he supposed to be relieved and overjoyed like the people that destroyed the walls of Jericho with their song.

"I thought she wanted the manager position, why didn't she drop a resignation letter what the bloody hell jade" brie wondered why he cares so much he was jade's number one hater he should be happy she left.

"Why do you even care... I thought you hate her besides how on earth is jade getting that position you and I know you will ruin it this what you always want" Dominic screamed hell Nah

"Don't make me look awful... Jesus Bridget, I thought jade fitted for it I mean I voted for her because she's one of the girls that put in the work despite the fact she hates her job, I admit I was mean to her let's put an A on how resilience she is" he folded his hand into a fist while he spoke the last word resiliency Brie is happy to hear that at least from Dominic all these while he was faking to hate jade.

"Yeah resilient from most of your bullies I guess.....

Brie muttered quietly under her breath when she says the rest out loud

"Can I replace her for the position since she'd left or do I know my poor performance in the chocolate bars won't affect me right? I know I don't arrange the chocolate correctly but I can do better- Dominic strides away without responding to Bridget he looks so sad how can jade affect him so much but he always hates her?

"Jade has a better job now Mr. Dominic" Brie shouted he turned looking disappointed brie wondered what job well like those Instagram models that do pictures jobs and get paid heavily that's what she meant by the fact jades job is classified as six figures deal. She made it mama!!!!
