Chapter 12
Jade was currently in Spain and she decided to take a taxi home. She turned down Ruby's offer to pick her up from the airport. Throughout her time on the plane and now in the cab Vincent was all she could think of. The moment they shared was unexpected and shocking. Jade was so deep in her thoughts that she didn't realize she had gotten home.
"Ma'am Rosalie it's been a while, welcome home." Her father's butler Harris said bringing her back to reality as she stepped out of the cab.
"Thanks Harris, I'll only be staying for a few days." She walked into her home and Harris followed suit instructing a maid to take Jade's mini luggage.
She loved the way everything still remained the same in the whole mansion.Mostly in her room, she knew that her father and ruby were still at work so she decided to take her bath and have a quick nap before they arrive.

Jade turned in her bed at the sound of her door opening.
"I didn't mean to wake you ma'am, i just came to drop these clean towels." Anna a staff at the mansion said as she dropped the stack of towels.
"It's alright, i think i over slept. Is my father back?" Jade asked.
"Yes, he'll be at the dinner table in a few minutes. You should get ready for dinner too."
Jade spotted her Father and her elder sister Ruby as she walked into the dinning room.
"mi hermosa rosalie (my beautiful Rosalie)" Her father said immediately he caught sight of her.
"Father!" She said excitedly as she ran towards him and gave him a tight hug.
"te he echado mucho de menos papá (I missed you alot dad)." She said as she took her seat next to him.
"If you missed me that much then why didn't you come home Rosalie?... It's really nice to see you dear." Her father said with a smile.
"Awwwwwn i hate to interrupt the cute father-daughter reunion but Jade why are you only so excited to see dad? you didn't even give me a hug." Ruby said as she pretended to cry.
"aquí viene el drama (Here comes the drama)." Jade rolled her eyes and Smiled at her sister's dramatic act.
"You're such a drama queen, of course I'm excited to see you i missed you alot." She stretched her hands to meets Ruby's hands and gave it a tight squeeze.
"Are you all gonna eat dinner without me?" She turned her gaze towards the door to see Amethyst walking towards them.
"Amy!" Jade stood up to give her a tight hug "i really missed you, you're always travelling here and there. It makes it hard for me to reach you over the phone." She said to Amethyst.
Ruby came to join them in a tight hug. It's been years since they've been together like this.
"Jade we have alot to catch up on but first am starving, i didn't have anything to eat on the plane." Amethyst said as she sat next to jade.
"Amy dear, how was Milan?" Their father asked.
"Milan, i thought she was in Korea?" Ruby asked.
"I was in Korea only for a week then i went to milan for another shoot. It was for a lingerie brand and our jewels were embedded in some so Dad asked me to model for the longerie company." Amethyst said as she flipped her hair.
Jade rolled her eyes and Ruby huffed.
"Girls I'm glad you're all here. I have something important to say to Jade, it's a good thing you're all present."
"Dad, what's so important that you had to tell me in person."
"My dear, i got a proposal for your hand in marriage."
"Proposal?.... Marriage?...is this a joke?" Jade said more shocked than Annoyed at what she just heard.
"Please tell me this is a joke...Dad?" Jade asked sternly.
"Calm down I've not accepted it yet dear."
"You better not, I'm not ready for marriage and who the hell plans arranged marriages this days." She said.
"Calm down Jade." Ruby said to her.
"You remember King Leonetti?"
"Why would i forget him?...i had to travel to italy remember."
"He came to spain three days ago to see me. He thinks you're a suitable bride for his Son."
"I don't want to get married to his son or anyone else. I'm not ready for marriage." Jade said sincerely.
"He wants you to get married to his son who is the heir to the throne. He thinks his son will take his responsibilities as future King seriously once he gets married." Her dad stretched his hand to meet hers. "I just want you to think about it, it's an honor for our family to be chosen by the king. As much as i want this for you dear I'd accept whatever decision you make."
"Let's enjoy our meal." He added with a smile.
Jade knew that the only way to spend sometime with Amethyst was to go shopping with her. Even though Amethyst has new dresses that could last a lifetime she'd still shop for more. Jade isn't the kind to go shopping, she finds it exhausting. She would rather order clothes online and have them delivered to her in the comfort of her home.
While walking behind Amethyst as she excitedly shopped for new dresses Vincent found a way to creep into Jade thoughts.
The Kiss she remembered was a sudden action. She hadn't expected him to kiss her. She couldn't understand why she didn't stop him, if Lucy hadn't interrupted then they would have continued.
She smiled and brought her fingers to her lips and didn't realize Amethyst was talking to her.
Amethyst snapped her fingers in front of Jade. "Jade!!!!"
"Huh, Amy what was that for?"
"I've been talking to you for a while now you didn't flinch."
"I'm sorry Amy, i just have alot on my mind."
Amy lifted her hands to Jade shoulders."Care to share what's bothering you?...if it's about the wedding, as much as I'd like to be called the sister to the future Queen I'd also respect your decision if you don't want to get married to the prince. Nobody is pressuring you okay?."
"I Know Amy but I don't think i want to get married to the prince. I could see it in dad's eyes that he really wants me to accept the King's proposal, I don't know what to do?." Jade said while pacing around.
"Jade, even i want this too but we will all respect your decision. Don't think about anyone else just think about what you want." Amy said as she gave her sister a hug.
"Jade, let's go have lunch. I know this great Italian restaurant, you'd love their food."
"Alright, so you aren't shopping again." Jade asked.
"I think I've bought enough things for one day."
