1 My most unrequited love

"Do not follow the crowd." That is the motto of a career-oriented and energetic nerd, Ayi Lee however, since she has her own style and also has her own phase that's why when it comes to womanhood she was left behind.

One morning she find herself lying on her bed not even trying to stand up for breakfast but just listening to Yimura's Do you. For a whole hour she is just staring at her ceiling and finally made up her mind. "I can do this! I should act like I'm not affected."

She gets up, prepare herself and off to work. Upon entering the door of the office, she tried to take a glance and check if there people inside. As she was awarded as Most Punctual in the company, this time she arrived one and a half hour early.

"Phew, I'll just take a nap in my table." she said.

She put her things on her table and hang her bag on her chair.

"Good Morning Ayi, your too early today." a deep voice coming from the back.

She won't need coffee anymore because just hearing the voice she just recently heard just made her wide awake. She feels that her teeth started to tatter and her body started to shiver.

She slowly turn around and said. "Good morning! I guess the air-con is at maximum temperature?"

"Hmmm... I dont think so? It still unpluged."

"Sh*T!!! Im too obvious!" as she's screaming in her head.

"Why are you too early today?"

"I have to finish this reports by 8am sharp. So Jero, lets talk later."

"Ok Ayi, I'll just discuss some matters to you later, finish that first."

When Jero left, "Freak! That smile again!" as she turned around mumble while grinning her teeth.

"Ohh.. geez, you can really act like nothing happened. but how about me?" whining to herself remembering about what happened 2 days ago.

She faced her computer and gets back to work not noticing Jero is looking at her from his workstation.

For thirty minutes, the ticking of the clock and tapping of keyboards is the sound that can only be heard in the whole office area. Ayi is busy typing her report while you can see on the other end is Jero is reading e-mails while drinking his hot tea. The two are located in a corner having the biggest workstation than the rest of the employees. After thirty minutes one by one are arriving and the office is starting to get lively; the voice of the girls chitchatting with each other, the stamp of feet from the guys leather shoes and the noise of the chair rollers. Moreover, Ayi can start breathing again.
