16 Chapter 16: A Simple Day
"Akira wake up it's noon" - Shin spoke while shaking Akira who was sleeping softly while hugging his pillow.
"Five more minutes," Akira muttered without opening his eyes, burying his face in the pillow.
"Akira wake up" Shin said helplessly as he shook Akira again.
"..." - Akira didn't respond this time and buried his face even more than before.
"Sigh~, I'll leave it up to you Rimuru" Shin sighed and looked at Rimuru who had a sly smile when looking at the sleeping Akira.
"Leave it up to me," said Rimuru, jumping next to Akira's face in the form of slime, then taking a deep breath and spewing water on Akira's face.
"@#$%, cold" - Akira cursed and quickly got out of bed because the water was so cold.
"What are you two bastards doing?" Akira exclaimed angrily as he stared furiously at Shin and Rimuru.
"Wake you up" - Shin replied calmly, apparently moved by Akira's angry stare.
"That's right, it's your fault for not getting up in the first place," said Rimuru, feeling happy to take revenge on Akira for ignoring him and sleeping in yesterday. "Now get dressed, the girls are waiting for us downstairs."
"You bastards... well let's go" - Akira muttered angrily but he calmed himself and used the Babel Gate to get dressed in an instant and exited.
Shin and Rimuru quietly followed behind after Rimuru reverted to human form.
"Good morning, sloth," Asuna said upon seeing Akira, who came down from the second floor.
"Good morning, Master," said Alpha, bowing respectfully towards Akira.
"Good morning to you, too," said Akira, lazily sitting down in front of the two girls.
"So shall we go look for the sect today?" - Akira asked, looking at everyone out of the corner of his eye.
"That's what we want to do too, but it's impossible in this weather," Rimuru said, pointing to the window.
"Oh, then why did you interrupt my sleep then we won't look for the sect" - Akira said as he looked at the window showing the heavy rain outside.
"Do you want to sleep all day if there is nothing to do?" Asuna asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Maybe," Akira replied lazily to Asuna's earnest question.
"You..." - Asuna was speechless at Akira's personality not like his yesterday's self or on the set.
"Sorry for the wait, here is your order of five steaks" - at this time the owner of the hotel arrived with five hot steaks.
"What kind of meat is this?" - asked Akira, who was sitting normally without anyone noticing.
"It's beef" - the hotel owner's answer to Akira's curious question - "I guarantee it's delicious."
"Okay, thank you" - Akira nodded to the hotel owner and thanked her.
"Enjoy your meal" - the hotel owner let go of these words and quietly left Akira and his group.
"What is it?" Akira asked puzzled upon seeing everyone staring at him.
"Master, do you dislike a certain kind of meat?" - asked Alpha because she wanted to know Akira better since she was going to be his maid.
"Pork" - Akira replied with disgust evident on his face at the mention of pork.
"Why do you hate pork?" Rimuru asked curiously, because Akira's name must be Japanese, and the Japanese used to eat pork, and no one cared, but Akira seemed to have a deep disgust for pork.
"Because it is disgusting to eat the flesh of an animal that eats its own waste," Akira said, not hiding the disgust with his voice and eyes.
"..." - Upon hearing Akira's words, everyone fell silent and felt disgusted when Akira mentioned the matter while Alpha nodded her head and kept Akira's words in her head.
"Well, let's eat before the food gets cold," said Akira, looking at everyone who was feeling their stomachs turning in disgust.

Everyone cheered at the same time and clapped their hands together.
"I-Itadakimas" - exclaimed Alpha and clapped her hands as she imitated everyone.
Everyone ate quietly as they watched the rain from the window, which gave them an ethereal feeling.

"So what are we going to do today?" - Akira asked, returning to the gentle young master's manner.
"..." Everyone looked at Akira and couldn't believe how he had changed from a lazy person to a cute young master.
"Today we are going to the Kagino family's mansion for dinner because they want to know our identity," Shin answered Akira's question while drinking coffee.
"How did the Kagino family know about me and also how did you know their goal?" Akira asked puzzled while sipping hot chocolate.
"I don't know how they knew about me, but they must have their own ways, because this is their city in the end. As for their goal, Shido told us about it," Shin answered Akira's question again.
"…" - The others remained silent because Akira and Shin were smarter than them, so they would leave everything to them.
"Well, I don't mind visiting Shido's family, but we have to do something about our clothes," Akira said, looking at everyone.
Shin was wearing ancient clothes and the rest were wearing casual clothes from the modern era.
"So before going to buy clothes, does any of you disagree with a decision?" - Akira asked and felt disrespectful to decide everything without taking their opinion on the matter.
"No objection," said Asuna, feeling that Akira's plan was better than spending the whole day in the hotel doing nothing and being curious about the life of the nobles.
"I also have no objection" - Rimuru nodded and was a little excited to see the architecture of this world because he had worked in a firm specializing in architecture in his previous life which made him a bit obsessed with architecture.
"I'll follow Master," Alpha said softly, sipping voraciously at the hot chocolate.
"Do whatever you want" - Shin said, not seeming too interested in visiting the Kagino family mansion.
"Excuse me, Queen-san, can you tell me the best place to sell clothes in this city?" - Akira asked, walking over to the table at which the Queen was sitting.
"The best clothing store? It should be the blue ocean," said the owner after a moment's thought.
"Oh, I'm sorry, but I can't write or read, so can you describe the way there?" Akira said, feeling embarrassed because he couldn't read or write.
