15 Fate

Next day, early in the morning Itachi left with the Chu sisters through the skies using the Profound Floating Technique

Right now, Itachi was touched lightly by a pale white hand; enveloped by an ice-cold profound energy as he flew through the skies along with Chu Yueli who had been constantly using her profound energy to keep him afloat while Chu Yuechan simply floated beside them silently.

Itachi too kept silent throughout the journey as he occasionally directed Chu Yueli towards the cave entrance to the trial as in Yun Che's memories. Some Earth profound flying beasts tried to attack them getting frozen in the process.

Below, vast plots of land flashed past their line of sight. After hours, they had completely passed the Spirit Profound Beasts' territory and were now above the Sky Profound Beasts' territory. The sky gradually darkened and finally they they were close to the centre of the Wasteland of Death…. A place Itachi could not have reached with his own capabilities right now.

Sensing the position of the cave getting nearer Itachi finally spoke to Chu Yueli: "Fairy Chu, It's already close enough, just leave me here."

Chu Yuechan instead asked as her pearl eyes glanced at Itachi from within the veiled visage : "Are you sure? This is quite a dangerous place to land?"

Itachi still insisted since taking her any further close could potentially prove to be devastating….for her: "It's fine. Please leave me here and wait for me back at the town. It will probably take me around 5-6 months to come back."

Chu Yuechan hesitated before her expression turned indifferent: "Very well."

The three of them floated down in a relatively safe location, near a large tree, the cave of the trial was just a few kilometers away from here.

It was also at this that a startled cry came from Jasmine in Itachi's mind: " Why are you venturing into a place with such a dense dragon aura? Have you lost your mind?"

Itachi easily responded to Jasmine's inquiry: " The reward is worth the risk and I am not doing this without thinking. Just let me know if you sense any dragons around here?"

How do you hope to confront these two by running away?" Jasmine's voice was extremely cautious as well as confused since Itachi was certainly not a foolish man.

Itachi merely chuckled to Jasmine's inquiry: "I don't need to confront them, simply bypassing them will be enough. Moreover, taking these two with me will only lead to them getting in the way since their ability to remain concealed isn't as good as my own. Although, still, be awake and stay alert. I have a feeling that things won't turn out to be as easy this time.."

'Hm' Jasmine merely affirmed with a snort at Itachi's words as he was clearly after something in particular here.

Itachi redirected his attention towards the two ice cold elegant fairies in front of him whose posture seemed a bit stiff than normal: "First Fairy Chu, Fifth Fairy Chu, this is where we part ways. I am very thankful for your assistance in bringing me here. Now, let me bid you farewell for now."

Chu Yuechan's elegant brows knitted together beside Chu Yueli as she replied after a slight hesitant pause: "No need for thanks. What you have done for us cannot be considered to be repaid with just this one favour. As such, you must ensure to return alive. Only that will ensure that we can repay our debt to you."

Chu Yueli surprisingly glanced at her sister's words. However, she also agreed with her, this junior really was extraordinary, it would really be a pity if he died here. As such, she too nodded at Itachi.

Itachi's gaze at Chu Yuechan turned strange for an instant before he quickly replied with a nod : "I will be sure to return alive then."

No words were exchanged next as the two elegant beauties, in their simple bluish robes floated upwards slightly revealing their enchanting pair of divine legs as they soon disappeared beyond the horizon.

Itachi waited for a while quietly watching as the sisters disappeared beyond his line of sight….After some time, he finally started enacting his plan as he used simple handsigns to create four shadow clones that immediately dispersed at different directions in a radius around the Flood dragon's place. He also placed himself in one of the places not in their direct path outside the cave.

Once all the 'Itachis' had taken their respective positions, the one closest to the cave finally entered into the behemoth entrance in a casual manner without trying to conceal his profound strength at all. Now that these clones were created using profound energy, their presence could be detected easily…..

'Itachi' didn't have to walk for long as the cave suddenly started to shake as two enormous presences appeared in his line of sight.

While Itachi's eyes looked at the two Silver colored dragons, he had already started backing off to get out of the cave.

Both gigantic silver dragons that rose in the air were over a hundred meters long. A field of dragon scales reflected a cold silvery light, as if there were currently a numerous number of silver-colored snakes in motion.

Jasmine's voice was extremely cautious, "So, I guess, the plan is to run away. Is it? "

At this moment, the Flood Dragon in front opened its mouth wide, and spat out human words, "It's another foolish human's futile attempt to pollute the Dragon God's treasure….. Die!!"

The two enormous Flood Dragons coiled there, high in the air, their bellows shaking the world. The two Flood Dragons were roughly the same size. They looked similar from the outside, but one was female while the other was male. In their fury of losing the human ,they simultaneously opened their enormous mouths, belching forth a wave of storming tornados. The two vortexes of enormous tornados, one in front, the other behind, carried an incomparably terrifying ripping power as they swept towards the clones that had finally appeared.

All the Itachis simultaneously used the body flicker technique to get far away from the tornados; appearing right behind the flood dragons.

Four Mangekyo Sharingan started spinning as all the clones simultaneously activated the Amaterasu.

"Amaterasu!"

A pitch black devilish flame appeared on the eyes of the flood dragons as their body started shuddering as they randomly started spewing dragon breaths around in terror of the strange demonic flame.

The four clones kept pouring their chakra into their left eyes increasing the radius of the burning flame on the dragons before finally they exhuasted their popping up in smoke, leaving the two flood dragons screaming violently.

Itachi who had been waiting for his chance finally heaved a sigh of relief. It seemed like he had severely underestimated the power of Amaterasu. Even as a Nascent profound realm cultivator, he had been able to completely render the Emperor profound realm dragon useless for a few seconds with his Amaterasu. As such, these flood dragons were completely helpless as they were getting devoured by the black flames of Amaterasu.

With that, Itachi body flickered away after confirming the flood dragon's state, leaving the two flood dragons writhing and screaming obscenities on the ground, trying to disperse Amaterasu which only led to it getting more intensely inflamed covering the entire upper bodies of the two dragons.

Itachi rushed through the cave using the Star God's Broken Shadow to the maximum limit. In just a few seconds, he had disappeared into the depths of the cave...…

A few hours before...…

Chu Yuechan along with her sister left Itachi at the designated spot before using the Profound Floating Technique, speedily rushing back towards the town.

Once they had covered some distance, Chu Yuechan's ice cold expression suddenly wavered as her snow white hand suddenly gestured towards Chu Yueli who confusedly glanced at her sister. "What is it..?"

However, before Chu Yuechan could respond, a vast shadow appeared from the skies above with an enormous profound energy.

"Roar!!"

Chu Yueli immediately shouted as she tried to turn around : "Sister! Get away!"

The profound strength which was genuinely of the Emperor Profound Realm was so thick that it could bring people to it's knees with it's mere presence. The entire body of the dragon seemed to be deep red with strange black burns all over it's left wings as well as eyes. A blackish glow seemed to shine over it's eyes as well as head.

Seeing the flame dragon in front get closer, and when they could gradually see the dragon's silhouette in it's entirety, Chu Yuechan said softly, "It's already gotten too close. We need to get away first."

While they were speaking, they had already turned around as their flight speed also grew much faster yet their distance from the dragon grew closer. After half a quarter of an hour, the dragon had already closed in to be within a kilometer's distance away from them as it occasionally spewed flames at them which exhausted their profound energy.

Unbeknownst to them, the dragon strangely seemed to be trying to direct the Chu sisters towards the cave's location.

As such, the distance from the cave grew closer and closer… as the sisters kept exhausting their profound energy to defend against the dragon's flame breaths.

Just a quarter of an hour later, it was at this that a startled cry came from Chu Yueli, "Get out of the way, quick!!"

The moment Chu Yueli's voice fell, a hellish scene appeared in front of their eyes two enormous shadows seemed to be writhing on the ground getting devoured by strange devilish black flames as the entire area seemed to be devoid of vegetation as the black flames kept increasing amidst the cries of the two flood dragons in the low hill below.

While the red shadow behind them rushed towards them like lightning. The beast's ferocious mouth which was set with frightening teeth opened wide and rushed at them with a bellow: "Hahahaha! Finally I have found that blasted human's presence! Those demonic flames! It could only be that bastard! Today! I will devour all of you along with that damned human! Hahaha"

Chu Yuechan and Chu Yueli turned pale in fright at the same time. Turning towards the flame dragon, Chu Yuechan grabbed hold onto Chu Yueli's arm with one hand and pushed her sideways with all her might, managing to dodge the extreme danger. But the crisis wasn't averted just like that. From behind them, the strange black flames seemed to span the entire hill along with the random attacks of the two writhing dragons

Chu Yuechan's elegant brows knitted as she stretched her right hand out, and constructed an ice barrier of about thirty three meters wide. The Flame Dragon's ferocious mouth that was wide open crashed into the ice barrier, and the Chu sisters were thrown far away before Chu Yueli formed a barrier behind them to stop their fall towards the blackish flanes. Large cracks also formed atop the protective barrier in front.

Seeing the cracks atop the ice barrier, Chu Yuechan's eyebrows tightly wrinkled.

While Chu Yueli's eyes were already filled with dread because the writhing dragons seemed to sent random attack towards her barrier in the back causing it to crack as well

Dragons….

And it was three dragons!! And what about those strange flames?

With one large in front and the other two in the back, the sisters had been surrounded on both sides. The three vast dragons terrifying imposing manner locked them firmly in place even if the two Sky Profound Realm dragons seemed to not care about anyone else at the moment.

"The ones at the back seemed to be at the pinnacle of the Sky Profound Realm. However, this dragon in the front is a genuine Emperor Profound realm dragon. If there were only one, then we could handle it with our combined strength. But three…!" Chu Yuechan spoke in a worried tone to Chu Yueli, as she reinforced the barrier of ice which seemed to continuously weaken

Chu Yuechan's voice was extremely cautious, "Let me deal with the one in the front. Take the chance to leave immediately. Or else, both of us will die! It's because escaping together is completely impossible….. "

Chu Yueli immediately shook her head: " Then, let me stall it and you should leave instead…"

The two vortexes of enormous tornados, one in front, the other behind, carried an incomparably terrifying ripping power as they swept towards Chu Yueli.

Chu Yueli ascended upwards slightly, and then her body began to swivel. Her rotating speed was very slow, as if elegantly dancing like a lithe, graceful butterfly. But that beautiful, illusory swirling, brought up an enormous tornado that was not one bit weaker than those created by the Flood Dragons in the area around her…and what's more, it was a bone-freezing storm of frost.

BOOM!!!

A thundering sound that seemed to shake the world exploded forth in the skies.

These storms collided in midair, and space immediately began to violently shudder. The collision between the tornados had created a terrifying stream of chaotic energy that remained unabated for a long period of time without vanishing.

Chu Yueli's figure was still slowly swiveling, her position not budging in the slightest. Those two storms generated by the Flood Dragons were too chaotic due to their miserable state hence, they weren't able to touch her body at all. Instead, they were slowly pushed away before dispersing. Chu Yueli was greatly relieved. At this time, she suddenly saw her sister in the midst of intense flames as her snow white attire was moved quickly.

The Flame dragon's voice rang out from high in the air. "So it is actually a human who has stepped halfway into the Emperor Profound Realm. No wonder you dare to confront me! However, you are still going to die!"

Within this enormous ice-blue field, countless flakes of snow and frost silently fell, and the water element in the air condensed into countless crystals of ice. The world was covered with a layer of white snow, and an increasingly thick layer of ice began to slowly cover the bodies of the Flame Dragon. It's movements grew sluggish, and even it's flames started to freeze.

Chu Yuechan held her sword elegantly as her body moved swiftly, and it was like a blue light flashed by as she pierced straight towards the flame dragon.

Under this sword slash, only a small scratch appeared on the flame dragon as it's armor was slightly slashed apart.

However, it was entirely enraged now, as the wind howled fiercely, the ice on it's body broke off in enormous chunks as it smashed down towards Chu Yuechan with its enormous dragon claw. Following the path of the dragon claw, screeches of the space being torn apart were generated.

The enormous dragon claw landed upon Chu Yuechan's shield of ice. The dragon claw stilled for a few moments as numerous cracks started to appear on the shield of ice. And then, in the next instant, with a 'bam' sound, the shield of ice completely shattered, blasting apart and sending shards flying everywhere.

The only option she could choose right now to completely render that flame dragon useless was to use a single focused attack.

After having battled it, Chu Yuechan already knew quite clearly that she didn't stand a chance against that flame dragon, much less once the other two dragons recovered, the two sisters would undoubtedly die.

After having persisted for a few more strikes, Chu Yuechan's Frozen Cloud Domain finally crumpled.

The frigid cold quickly dissipated from the air, and the movements of the flame dragon instantly became much swifter.

She could already see the forbidden technique almost activating as even the two flood dragon's movements had almost become slower. The final activation was just one more step away, if her sister completely activated it, she would...

Her incomparably pure and holy face was revealed to the world as the veiled that covered her heavenly beauty didn't seem to be there. Her radiant face frowned for a second before she remembered watching Itachi's face just before she appeared here.

Suddenly, the same Itachi appeared before her wearing the same strange cloak with red clouds and his strange eyes.

Chu Yeuchan's expression became extremely cautious as she tried to maintain her usual calm but she didn't have her veil to hide her expression right now: "What is going on? Where did you bring me? What even is this place?…..I need to go back. Chu Yueli is still out there."
