5 Obtaining new eyes
Itachi stared at the dashboard and thought to himself,
"I need to be extra careful around this man, he's either hiding his true intentions or plotting something "
All of a sudden Elder Lee turned around and stared dead-on at Itachi as if he sensed someone examining him.
"Is there something the matter Lin Feng?"
"No Elder Lee, I was just looking around"
Elder Lee stared at Itachi for a few more seconds then turned around and continued to guide the carriage.
They were going at top speed through the forest, the surroundings were full of trees, and the road they were on was very damp and muddy. However this barely affected the speed of the carriage, it was almost as if the horses pulling the carriage were trained for this type of environment.
Hours passed and night fell, it was time to set up camp. Elder lee stopped the carriage and spoke to the passengers
" Everyone, we will be resting here until morning, feel free to leave the carriage and set up camp"
As the kids left one by one to set up camp, Itachi followed suit. He borrowed a small mat from Bai Xiao Chun and placed it on the grass at the side of the muddy road. There was a very refreshing smell in the environment, it felt really good and soothing. The air here was much better than the ninja world.
Itachi breathed in the air and relaxed, at the same time he noticed elder lee was not around, he asked around and found out he went to find some wood for the campfire. To the other kids this seemed normal but to Itachi who was extremely vigilant, he had already started to grow suspicious, it's been 30 minutes, and he's still not back.
Itachi ignored the missing elder and laid down on the mat, a lot had happened today and he was growing tired, his eyelids were heavy, and they were screaming at him to close his eyes and rest. However Itachi thought of the system, it was almost a habit now to summon the system now and again, he enjoyed this strange phenomenon.
As Itachi did his usual browsing he noticed another section, because of how busy and turbulent his day was, he hadn't had the time to browse the system properly, hence why he missed this part.
Itachi clicked on it and was greeted by a message.

"Hmm I wonder what kind of prizes I can get from this"
Itachi thought to himself, but he didn't have any points to activate the draw, he was about to click off the section but then was greeted by another message.

Itachi was instantly excited and turned his attention to the lucky draw. His expectations were low, he had never had any luck in his life, he braced himself and said:
"Draw!"

X1 lucky draw ticket, Byakugan eyes ( worth 2500 points from the shop ) x1 Divine tagger, x100 high-quality spirit stones]
Itachi was so surprised he let out a gasp, he had hit the jackpot! Although Itachi didn't know how rare high-quality spirit stones were, because they came from the system, surely they must be precious.
Not to mention, he had won something very familiar, the byakugan! This was the Hyuga clan's prized possession, it was an eye so potent that it increased your vision drastically, allowed you to see someone's skeletal structure and even their internal organs, he could see through walls and much more! It also had 360 degrees vision, this eye was a treasure! It had limitless potential.
Itachi then looked at the other prize, the Divine dagger. He inwardly said 'reveal' then a status menu appeared.

Itachi gasped at how amazing this dagger was, even in his previous life, a weapon that increased in quality had never been heard of!
Itachi stopped reading the description and checked his system backpack, the prizes were there. He really wanted to try out the byakugan, but before that he slowly got up and walked behind a tree nearby, the last thing he wanted to do was garner unnecessary attention.
He clicked the byakugan and inwardly said ' activate ' As soon as he clicked activate, Itachi's eyes turned white and immediately his vision changed.
" To think I could even see clearly at night, not only has my night vision improved, but I can also see further, the system really is magical, I didn't even have to gauge my eyes out to obtain the byakugan, now I not only have the Sharingan but also the byakugan"
Itachi looked around and tested the eyes some more, he could see a dozen kids laying down, some drifting off to sleep, all of their skeletal structures and internal organs could be seen, some even had Qi running through their veins, nothing could escape the byakugan!
He also had 360 degrees vision now, this was vital when being faced with multiple opponents, he was now able to see movements from all directions!
As Itachi mused over his new eyes, a shocking thought crossed his mind.
" I wonder what will happen if I can activate the byakugan whilst simultaneously having my Sharingan active… "
If anyone from his previous life heard of such a statement they would laugh at him and think he was crazy, however with the power of the system, anything was possible!
Before Itachi could test this thought a shocking sound could be heard.
"ROAAAAAAR"
A deafening roar enough to cause their eardrums to explode was heard!
Itachi instantly went on guard and looked around vigilantly, his byakugan was active and scouting the forest, as he stared into the distance he saw a massive beast at least 2 meters in height slowly walking towards the camp, his fangs were the size of an adults arm!
Before Itachi could run for his life, the beast picked up the pace and pounced at him.
