Elder Lee stared at Itachi in bewilderment. Even with all his experience and battles he's been in, this scene was still shocking to him. Not to mention, those eyes…
It was like staring into the abyss, pure darkness, it felt like he was staring at the eyes of an experienced hunter, a hunter that's killed countless people.
Elder lee quickly dismissed these thoughts then straightened his back and resumed the look of a dignified elder.
" *Cough* *Cough* "
Elder Lee cleared his throat then said,
" Lin Feng, what happened here? Did you happen to see anyone come here? "
Itachi looked at him indifferently then said
" No, I hid behind a tree, when I turned around to look again, the beast had already died "
Itachi didn't want to blow his cover, it was always a good move to hide one's strength, although the elder was looking at the battle from afar, he most likely couldn't see properly in the darkness of night. Only hearing the screams and noises of battle.

Bai Xiao Chun and Ling Feng cupped their fist and then got to work.
After an hour, they patted the soil and gave their final prayers. Although Itachi didn't know any of these kids personally, he still paid his due respects to the dead.
"It's time to go, this place is no longer safe to rest in, we don't know when another beast will attack, " Elder lee said to the two.
Itachi and Bai Xiao Chun looked back at the gravesite one last time and then entered the carriage, the back room of the carriage now felt like a ghost town, it was deathly silent, Bai Xiao Chun wasn't even in the mood to eat his usual beef jerky. He was staring into space with bloodshot eyes, he was not used to seeing such scenes.
Itachi was indifferent as usual but a million thoughts were racing through his mind, he tried his best to collect his thoughts and ease his breathing. He then closed his eyes, he could only hear the wheels of the carriage as it moved in the night.

Meanwhile, at the campsite they were previously in a moment ago.
As the carriage rode off, the campsite was deathly quiet. It was as if everything that transpired here didn't happen at all. It was extremely dark, not even the moonlight could reach here. Even when Elder Lee and co were here, it was not this quiet or dark…
In a corner of the camp, under a large tree. The figure of a human could faintly be distinguished, he wore black robes with a black hood covering his head. Even if one looked at him, it would be impossible to distinguish his face in the darkness. He blended in perfectly.

The shadow-like figure looked at the moving carriage a little longer then his figure slowly faded away into the darkness, he was gone.
The empty camp turned back to its usual state, the moonlight once again shone and silence descended.

It was daytime, the sun was scorching hot and covering the vast lands, in the midst of a forest a lone carriage was moving at top speed.
Within the carriage Itachi was sitting down on the stalls, his eyes were closed, he didn't get much sleep last night so he was resting his body as much as he could.
On the stall opposite him, Bai Xiao Chun was fast asleep and snoring. The elder at the front of the carriage could hear his snores, his eyelids were twitching from annoyance as he heard Bai Xiao Chun.
Itachi finally opened his eyes and looked around, he glanced at elder Lee then asked,
" Elder Lee, how long do we have left till we arrive?"
Elder lee turned around and then responded.
" Were nearly there, if you look closely ahead you'll be able to see a massive mountain, that's where the Nether sect is located "
Itachi nodded then got up, he opened the window close to him and took in the cold breeze, it was truly refreshing. He could see massive trees around him as the carriage moved forward. As they got closer to the mountain the trees and plants got much bigger.
The spiritual energy around the mountain was truly vast, it was no wonder the plants were so lush and lively.
A few hours passed and they finally arrived in front of the mountain, there were massive gates at the foot of the mountain. Just like the carriage they were in, there were tens of similar carriages parked in front of the gates. It was quite a lively site. People were walking everywhere, there were also many kids like Itachi and Bai Xiao Chun.
As Elder lee and co got off the carriage they attracted a lot of attention, primarily Elder Lee, all the adults there looked at him in reverence.
" Junior greets elder Lee! Welcome back, Sir!"
All the adults at the scene bowed and greeted the Elder.
Elder lee responded to them with the same greeting and then cupped his fist at them.
" Greetings, theirs no need for such formalities, we are all from the same sect "
Elder lee said some humble words and then turned around to speak to Itachi and Bai Xiao Chun.
" Children, follow me. Well ascend the mountain, ill be taking you to the outer sect quarters, so you can get situated and familiar with the sect "
As they walked forward they arrived in front of the large gates, several guards were guarding the entrance at the foot of the mountain, and people were walking in and out busily.
The guards took a look at Elder Lee then swiftly moved aside and let them through the gates.
Itachi looked around his surroundings and was amazed, he didn't think a remote mountain could be so busy with people. This showed the might of the Nether Sect.
As soon as Itachi stepped a foot through the gates, he heard a familiar robotic voice.
