15 Chapter 15

"Would you look at this." Hoshigaki smiled, "It looks like your remedy didn't work."

"Maybe it is a sickness." Itachi muttered, as he looked at the food before him.

Ace had fallen asleep on top of his food, which shocked everyone in the restaurant as they thought he ate a desert strawberry unknowingly except the two besides him.

[Desert Strawberry – a poisonous spider that looks just like a strawberry. If a person eats it they will collapse a few days later and if the person stays like that for a few hours it will start getting contagious. Pg12 manga chapter 157]

"Poor devil he is still clutching on to his fork." One of the inn servants muttered, "His body has stiffened in that position."

"The desert strawberry... kills you that quickly."

"Wubba!!?" Ace woke up, and he couldn't talk properly thanks to all the food in his mouth.

"Wah!! He is alive!!" All the inn servants shouted in disbelief.

"Huh?" He turned over to look at them.

"Are you okay?"

Ace turned over to the cute girl who was standing next to his seat, behind Kisame. He took the lower end of her skirt, and used it to clean his face, "Ung..."

"Aagh!!" The girl shrieked, since she was startled greatly.

"Huh... well..." Ace continued to chew his food, ignoring what was going on with his fork clutched in his hand, before turning to face the shop owner, "What do you know? I fell asleep."

"Fell asleep!!?" The inn servants exclaimed with razor sharp teeth, expressing their anger.

"He fell asleep in the middle of a conversation!?" The man in the inn showed their dissatisfaction, "While eating!?"

"With his food in his mouth!?"

Itachi and Kisame weren't fazed by this at all. He had done it before and there were sure he was going to doze off soon.

Ace turned to face the man in the inn with his fork near his mouth, "Whats the big deal?"

"We were worried about you!!" The man wanted to jump over and beat him.

Fire Fist ignored them and looked at the inn keeper, "You hire this comedians?"

"No, eh... we're just glad you are okay."

Before the inn keeper could take a sigh of relief, Ace fell asleep again on top of his food.

"Why, you!!?"

Kisame smiled at the people in the restaurant, "We can't leave him sleeping here, can we Itachi?"

"It seems to be the case."

"Why are you two so calm!!!?"

Smoker had arrived in Alabasta because he had a hunch that he would meet up with that Straw Hat again. It was only a hunch, but his hunches turn out to be true.

He had seen a crowd gathering at an inn and he was curious about what was happening inside.

"One of the customers suddenly dropped dead." Tashigi said. She had her coat in her hand the heat was unbearable. She quickly spots a Marine rushing over to them, "Oh, look."

"Captain Smoker!!" The Marine shouted with all his life, "There are bad men in town!!

Smoker who had his cigar in his mouth walked over to the panicking Marine, "Come down and tell me who they are?"

"There are the men we met a few days ago and-and–"

Smoker and Tashigi were startled by the Marine's words but what he said next send them to their graves, 

"White Beard's Second Division Commander! Portgas D. Ace!"

A scowl grew over Smoker's face. The mysterious pirates from before were another matter, but Ace was one thing.

"There can't possibly be together, can they?" Tashigi asked in a worried tone. Alabasta would fall to the ground if they joined forces.

"I doubt so." The White Hunter walked over to the inn, "Tashigi gather up the Marines."

The young lady firmly saluted, "Yes! Captain Smoker, Sir."

The Marine Captain removed his goggles and entered the inn. He could see Ace asking about a wanted poster, and the two men from before getting ready to step out.

"What's White Beard's Second Division Vice Commander doing here..." Smoke was puffed, "...Portgas D. Ace?"

"White Beard!!?" The customers exclaimed in shock, "He is one of the Beard Pirates!!?"

"What's he doing here!!?"

Kisame grinned and locked eyes with the White Hunter, "I am hurt. To think you have already forgotten about me already? Did you forget how he run away with your tail in between your legs."

Another vein grew on Smoker's face as the shark like man was really pissing him off, "Sorry I didn't get your name the last time we fought."

"My name is Kisame Hoshigake and this Itachi Uchiha an aspiring Emperor."

"Kisame and Itachi, huh?" Smoker finally took his hands out of his pockets, "I am looking for another pirate right now. I am not interested in any of your heads."

Ace was slightly startled that the two knew Smoker and that there were pirates, they certainly didn't give him that vibe.

With his hands on Samehada, Kisame smiled, "I am going to pay you back for bashing my head against the ground."

The White Hunter's body was slowly turning into smoke, "Same here, I can't let pirate scum like you do as you please."

Before the two could kick off their battle, a big surprise happened. Smoker was hit in the back with a certain straw hat wearing pirate.

"Rocket!!"

"Gack!!"

Smoker came crushing in where Ace was sited, and the two were taken a few yards away from the inn there were.

"Ahh!!" Luffy exclaimed, "A restaurant!! I am starving!!"

Everyone around was surprised, even Itachi who was silent this whole time raised a brow.

"Kisame let's go, we have no business here."

Everyone was still shocked by Luffy that they forgot that Kisame and Itachi didn't pay for their meal.

"Mister! Food, food, food!!"

The inn keeper was sweating buckets, "Er... you better run."

Luffy didn't mind that and was already using the two forks in his hand to staff his mouth.

"De–lish!! This food is great!!"
