10 Chapter 10

Rohit's POV

Priya was leaving the room when I asked her, " By the way Priya did you invite your friends? Please don't forget to inform them. "

I wanted her to come for the party but didn't want Priya and bhai to think that I was interested in her. As it is Priya had started teasing me already.

Her eyes started glowing. It seemed that now it was her turn to take revenge of my teasing.

She said, "Oh, I called all my friends most of them would come but a few can't."

"Why?? what is the problem and by the way, who can't come ?" I asked.

" Sia would not be able to make it." She said with a sad face.

" What?? Why?? What is the problem?? How can she do that?? She is your best friend. No, she has to come." I said all of a sudden and then tried to control my reaction.

She raised one of her eyebrows and looked very amused.

" I mean she is your best friend. So she must come. " I said again as if it doesn't matter to me. I was just saying it for Priya's sake.

" Her dad is not at home and her mom will not send her alone." Priya said.

"But that is not a big issue, anyone can pick and drop her you can do that for your friend. right? " I said too quickly again. Bhai was getting confused now.

" Sorry Rohit but I am extremely busy today. It is ok, I would have loved it if she could come but I understand."

She smiled but I was disappointed.

" If you are busy, I can go and pick her..." I offered

Shit !!! I should not have said that too quickly. Oh no... Now she is going to tease me.

" No Rohit, you don't have to take extra efforts. It is ok. "

"No I am perfectly fine with it. I can pick her." Bhai was looking at us curiously and all of a sudden Priya literally burst out laughing.

" It is ok Rohit you don't need to go and pick her... But what is wrong with you ? Why is it so important that she attends the party... As it is she always attacks you. Right? " She raised her eyebrows and smirked, I was a bit red now so I just left the room.

I don't know why I was feeling like this. I felt disappointed that Sia was not coming. I got ready for the party.

We all left for the venue. Decorations were very elegant. Guests had already started coming. All our business associates, employees and friends were here within no time.

Everyone was here still I was feeling a bit disappointed. Because I wanted to see my feisty warrior.

Everyone was having blast and enjoying each other's company by teasing eachother. Bhai's friends were here and they were teasing the newly married couple. Bhai looked so happy.

Sia's POV

I entered the venue hall. It was a grand party as expected. I was looking for Priya and finally saw her.

She was with some friends and as soon as she saw me, she excused herself and said something to a tall and handsome man to come with her. I also wanted to meet Rahul ji .

Rahul was smiling at me. Priya hugged me and then introduced me to him. " Sia, meet my husband Rahul. And Rahul this is my best friend Sia."

He smiled at me and said,

" Nice to meet you Sia, I have heard so much about you."

" Same here Rahul ji, I have heard so much about you over the years. It seems that I almost know you already..." Priya hit me with her elbow and glared at me. I looked at her and apologising her with my eyes. Oh she has not told him that she had this huge crush on him.

Rahul ji seemed to be a bit confused with what I said. He wanted to enquire about it but Priya changed the topic. She said, " Rahul actually Sia also needs to do the internship so I am planning to ask dad if she can also join the office? " She asked him.

" Of course she can join the office... dad would be very glad to know that I know he will give you permission to do that. Sia, you can join the office tomorrow as Priya is also joining. "

" Thankyou so much, I would love to join the office tomorrow. " I smiled.

"I will tell you the details as to whom you wold have to report." He smiled mischievously at Priya and excused himself and went away.

" You didn't tell Rahul ji about your feelings?? " I asked her.

" Not till now... But will tell him very soon."

" He is so cute and it seems that he loves you too. You must not hide your feelings from him. "

" I told you about the circumstances of our marriage.... I never told him because I thought that he was in love with someone else. I will tell him very soon. " she said and I nodded.

Rohit's POV

I was with my friends when bhai came and said hello to all my friends. Everyone congratulated him and after a few minutes, we excused ourselves. " Rohit I want you meet someone. A few people will assist you in office from tomorrow."

I made a face and said, " Oh bhai, we are in a party and you are still interested in work. I was enjoying with my friends. I will meet them tomorrow. Please."

I was already upset and all bhai can think about is work.

" Rohit it will take only 2 mins, come on please I just told them I will introduce you tonight. I promise I will not take more then 5 minutes of yours. Ok? " I agreed with an annoyance. There were so many people here but I did not want to meet anyone but had to meet as bhai was insisting. I followed him.

" Rohit these girls will assist you from tomorrow." I saw that Priya was smiling. Did bhai dragged me to meet her? Then all of a sudden she stepped aside and I was surprised to the girl standing behind Priya. A smile was forming on my face as It was one person I wanted to meet for so long. She was looking so pretty I kept looking at her for a few seconds.

"Hi Rohit sir, I am Priya and this is my friend Sia. We will assist you as we are supposed to do our internship." Said Priya innocently. I was grinning like a fool now and was ogling at Sia.

" Oh, ok please be on time Priya and Sia I am very punctual. " I said to the girls and they nodded. I was so happy now.

Bhai coughed and said, " Now you must excuse Rohit he was enjoying with his friends when I literally dragged him to meet you. Thanks for your time Rohit let's go and meet our friends...."

What?? No I don't want to go anywhere.

" Bhai you enjoy, it is your success party. You proved yourself but I still need to do it so I need to make strategies. I need to be comfortable with my assistants. I hope you understand? " I winked at him and he winked back.

" Yes I understand you too well. All the best for your strategies." He caught Priya's hand and said " Can I borrow my wife for some time? " I just nodded and we smiled, though Sia shook her head and glared at Priya but she shrugged and left with him. So here my feisty assistant was with me now.

" So you are joining our office along with Priya? "

" Yes... "

" Let me make something very clear to you. I am a very strict boss. I will not take any tardiness. Don't expect any favours from me just because you are friends with Priya. Both of you will report to me so I will treat both of you as a boss does to his assistants. Did I make myself clear? " I said.

" Certainly sir... " She smiled back mischievously.

" And you can't throw things at me.... " I said and laughed while she blushed a bit.

" Don't give me reasons to do that Mr. Kapoor... I mean sir. "

" But right now we are not working together so we can be friends. Come let's enjoy the party. "

We went to have some food. I was feeling very good now.. This girl was making me crazy about herself.

She was looking around and I was looking at her. She was very beautiful and brave.
