Sitting on the chair. Petal watched as Ethan moved around the kitchen, preparing their breakfast. When she woke up, She found the bed empty and a delicious smell coming from the kitchen. She freshened up and went downstairs to find him cooking breakfast. She took a seat and waited for food.

"Do you want coffee or tea?" Ethan asked but she didn't reply.

Petal reached to touch her ears and noticed that she forgot to wear her hearing aids.

"I forgot to wear them." She said signalling.

Ethan put the milk bottle on the table and sat down.

"It's okay. You can get them after we eat breakfast." He said, using the signing language.

Petal smiled, surprised that Ethan was so good at using sign language. She did see him a few times reading books teaching sign language.

"Do you want tea or coffee?" He asked, using the signing language.

"Coffee with milk." She replied, signalling.
