58 Dangerous situation part one

It was dinner time. Ethan and Petal were preparing the table to eat their dinner when they suddenly heard the doorbell ring. It was rarely used since Ethan didn't let anyone enter the gates without his men informing him first.

They were surprised that the unexpected visitor was Alexander. Well, the only one who was surprised was Petal as for Ethan, he found him to be an annoying visitor.

"You should have called first," Ethan said, closing the door behind him.

Petal glared at him. She turned to Alexander and smiled at him.

"I came to give Petal a gift." Alexander said, completely ignoring Ethan.``This one's for you and this one is for the baby. I picked two." He added, handing her the gift bags.

Petal smiled at him and thanked him. She turned to Ethan, showing him the gifts.

"Please have a seat," Petal said, signalling.

Ethan was about to tell him what Petal said when Alexander spoke first.
