The two guarded the area for a day and had fun until the next day. The townspeople never set foot in the area because Lennard had warned them. Occasionally, a few brave official mage-level adventurers would stop by, but thanks to William's ability to throw cups, the wounds they received from hundreds of meters away, and a few minor scoldings, escaping became their priority.

The next day, Fabian appeared again like a meteor over Greyscar. The way he flew was so dominant, like an unstoppable rocket. It seemed as if he could crush anything that came his way. William realized that day that Fabian's speed was even slightly faster than the strengthened Lennard.
