Four weeks later.

Patel stood in front of the mirror looking at the surgery scar that almost completely healed, The doctor had turned them on and asked her to wait until the surgery wounds heal, Today she completed four weeks since she did the surgery, She is supposed to go and visit the doctor to check on her and to turn on the hearing device.

Today she is supposed to receive the external transmitter and sound processor.

She was so excited and couldn't wait to feel what is it like to be able to hear, Touching the surgery place, She smiled, Though some people would be embarrassed to have something like this visible to others, she wasn't, To think about that she can sit in any place and hear everyone talking is something that it's more important to her.

After getting ready, She went upstairs, Waiting for Lana, While she was waiting, She caught the sight of Noah and that evil man talking.

Yes, She had named Ethan, The evil man. She thought it suits him more. Both men seemed to be speaking about something serious. She could tell by Noah's facial expressions.

Her eyes met the evil man for a few seconds before she was the first one to look away.

When Noah finished talking with him, She saw him walking towards the mansion. Just then, Lana came downstairs and the three of them left together.

"Everything seems to be fine, Now let's try and turn the device slowly." The doctor signaled to her and she nodded her head.

The doctor helped her to put in the external transmitter and the sound processor and then, The audiologist started to adjust the hearing device.

"Can you hear me?" The audiologist asked in a low tone tasting the device.

Patel's eyes widened, Nodding her head, She turned to look at Lana.

The audiologist smiled and asked Lana to speak to her.

"Patel, Can you hear me?" Lana asked, sitting Infront of her.

Patel who was still shocked, Nodded her head, Her eyes watered and she couldn't stop herself from crying.

Finally, After all these years of living isolated, She can communicate with the world.

"Patel, Can you tell me if the sounds are low or loud?" The audiologist asked.

"Low." Patel replied signaling.

"Okay, I'm going to try and adjust it." The audiologist said as he adjusted the

"Mr. Noah, Can you try and speak to her this time." The audiologist asked Noah.

Patel, who was excited to hear new voices, Turned to look at him waiting to hear his voice.

Noah nodded his head and looked at her.

"Patel, Are you happy?" He asked and saw her nod her head with a big smile on her face, A beautiful smile.

Patel wiped her tears that couldn't stop sliding down from her eyes, she was happy and over the moon, Now she couldn't wait to hear her mother's voice.
